When I heard this on the bigscreen in IMAX theaters the first time with Logo of WB's in gray, I got such a chills with goosebumps all over.... *_* especially the part where it showed bats flying to be forming the "Batman" symbol. This is legendary and music at its finest level of epicness! Godbless Nolan, Hans, and James. Truly gifted man, they made Batman into something more incredible and and TDKR will be another great masterpiece to finish the trilogy.

Going through one of those very dark nights when I see no hope for myself .. But, all of these characters, though not necessarily of original backgrounds have evolved into their own unique creations that people recognize and love. I prefer The Dark Knight over Batman Begins but I think Batman Begins has a stronger atmosphere to it and I think this song describes that atmosphere along with that picture.

I like that Batman Begins had this theme of fear... how Bruce Wayne wanted 'to strike fear into the hearts of those who prey on the fearful' and Scarecrow used the fear toxin. I thought that was pretty cool. Batman Begins, I think, is sort of a psychological thriller, while again, Dark Knight is an action movie.
