i had a blowout during training, then i had to take a walmart load from ga to ms on 78 (which is a BULLSHIT run) it was late night by the time i got into ms. i was going around a curve, nothing fancy going on, i glanced in the mirror and watched the trailer lights flicker then go completely out. i rolled past a weigh station (thank god 4 prepass) those state troopers musta had some krispy kremes cuz i made it all the way to a love's and told dispatch i ain't pulling that trailer til it's fixed.

@bonniendlo Yes you can get a CDL and a job! Pay depends on what you haul (inherent risk involved) And they amount of experience you have! I have never made less then 50 thousand and that was my first year!

Hey Steve. Talking about a boring job, have you ever worked on a CNC machine in a machine shop. Well let me tell you, all you do all day is to load and unload the machine, they give you cycle time of 5 minutes, then you have to deburr the part that takes more then 5 minutes, so you are constantly competing with the machine. You make the same part for months, for 10 hour every day. Now that's a fucking boring job. Atleast in the truck you can sit on your ass and enjoy the view. Heil Trucking!
I agree about Lisa on Ice road Truckers ... she cant even fix her own truck if you notice everyone else fixes it for her... those drivers are really not showing what it is like to drive a truck. they are showing the money aspect not the HC aspect of REAL driving. keep them on road guys. Love the comment about the ice road trucker. I have watched all 3 seasons and to be honest i am getting bored with the show. The 3rd season the chick on there was getting on my nerves. I had to fast forward everytime she came on. Keep up the in your face videos. Love them.
Some good footage Steve. Super single on drives, those got to suck, cant move anywhere once they blow. I stopped driving in Dec. of '08, this brings back some good memories of the good times behind the wheel and little to no sleep in some cases. Keep on filming, your making some good interesting videos. Still working around trucks as a mechanic now.

I had a bad day myself recently, My truck over headed and I blew a tire on my trailer all with in 4 hours of my road trip.
I ended up giving the load to the next driver and took a loss (before the trip ended up costing me more)....hopefully things will be better ....we all get bad days.

lol All three accidents happen to be 4WD vehicles Lots of people totally misunderstand what 4WD and ABS exactly do 4WD does NOT help you maintain control on the ice at 70 mph and ABS does NOT actually help you stop the car at all A guy in a suburban once pass me on 95 in northeastern blizzard at around 50mph while I negotiate with mothernature at 40mph 10m made the difference between him fishtailing and hitting every jerseywall and me making it home.

Thank you for the comment. My demographic is 35-45 year old men looking at getting into trucking. The goal with the HOOKERS and COCAINE comment was to make the general public's image of "truckers"seem so silly that they realize it is not true at all. Thank you for the comment. My demographic is 35-45 year old men looking at getting into trucking. The goal with the HOOKERS and COCAINE comment was to make the general public's image of "truckers"seem so silly that they realize it is not true at all. The comments I made ,hookers,cocaine,circus carny, etc are all common stereotypes. It was satire and I think I shouldn't have to explain it. If you watched the whole video you should have got the point of the video it is clear!
