Well US Chrysler sebring had it much longer before, if you get the limited you encourage US workers and have the same features a good 4 seater with a hardtop. just wonder if the Infinity can put 2 golf bags when retracted.
I think it looks hot, and it doesn't even look like a convertible with the top up which is kinda cool in a way, shows an eleiment of surprize of sorts when you open her up. It obv looks better with it down but it still looks good with it closed but as others mention yah the rear looks diff but there is no way they can keep the same looking G37 rear with the top converting into the rear if u think about it.
im not digging the design at all. it doesnt even look like a g37 coupe from the back, and side with the top up. that tailight is urghhh. but i guess thats a good thing, just like how the sedan is so different from the coupe. makes me like my coupe even more.
I think that have completely taken away from everything esthetically great about this car by developing the convertable version, and that is the brilliant and flowing lines of the car's profile. It does appear as though they have lengthened the wheelbase as well, which seems to distort the proportions slightly. I think this convertible version is a perfect example of "be careful what you wish for". That being said, this is going to make me enjoy my new coupe that much more.
i think they could have done a better job on the back. i have the 2008 g37 coupe, and when i heard of a g convertible i was already dreaming of it as my next car. but based on exterior style, the g37 coupe is much more polished. seeing the back of my car and then looking at the back of this convertible makes me a little upset at infiniti. they have the perfect back for the coupe, but here it just looks awkward. its still no doubt a great looking car, but i think the coupe beats it.

no there is still four seats which is probably why the wheel base looks longer than the standard g37
