I hate these f-----g little frogs. Since arriving in Hawaii and having no natural predator to control their population they're everywhere and out of control. According to Univ. of Hawaii - Hilo testing, We have approximately 50,000+ across the street and in our back yard. The noise is so loud and irritating. I hate them !!!!! I hope the gecko ate him or you chopped it's head off.
Eventually Hawaii will have to settle down and accept the coqui. Trying to eradicate them always fails and also kills non-target animals. Plus, their sound is nice when you decide to accept it.
@TheColor17 Patricia, the Coqui has long been removed and let free. Instructions from many of the locals in Hawaii were to kill it, and as intrusive and annoying as these things are, I still did not.. No Coqui was harmed during the filming of this video. :)
@wattspimp they were carried over they with the sugarcane, we have the same problem over here with iguanas , and now scorpion fish... I know its annoying to hawaiians and I feel sorry for their native species....
poor Mr. Coqui ,...he should have stayed home in his little island of PR, but noooo...some stupid pro statehood hoodlum had to take him with him to Hawaii and now look!!! Viva PR libre y el coqui tambien... .
That is not a gecko its an anole.

It's illegal to have them captive because they are an endangered species.
