they are bringing back the groups but they are updataed abd youtube invites you to join.i know this because i just tryed to make one but it was removed on dec 1st 2010 so i went to youtube help and there it wa new updataed groups

Make sure it's /group/ with both those slashes and then at the top right there is a create group link.

@ExtremeDiva4Life Well a lot of times it's not your fault. YouTube is constantly changing things and so your problem is most likely just a YouTube glitch. Whether or not they fix it soon is another thing. The whole YouTube groups thing hasn't really been a success in my opinion and I think they lost focus on it.

@SkullMaidenstein Yeah you'd think YouTube being the biggest online video gallery in the world and google being the number 1 search engine in the world would hire a bigger staff. I've heard many complaints from people including YouTube Partners which are the people who make YouTube money. And so if YouTube doesn't even help their own employees, why would they help us?

@DiCkSoN738 Just go to the group you want to post a video to and click submit a video at the top. Sometimes it may depend on the creator of the group to decide whether or not they will automatically accept videos from everyone. So you may not be doing anything wrong.

@MrSportsaddict135 Go to your group and go into settings. And under group icon you can change it to automatically use the last video thumbnail or let the owner pick the video. Note that YouTube's group feature is still very bugged and so some of the settings might not work, but it won't hurt to try.
