super, this is where i first came across The Sundays painting walls in my parents house one August months before the album came out with the video on super channel one afternoon.Amazing band, sorely missed,tivoli dublin gig in my top 5 of all time.

This was the first sundays song i fell in love with, along with here's where the story ends, & when i listen to this one i get a kind of feeling i can't really explain, closest comparison might be a kind of patriotism i think, a wonderfull song.

It really was a stroke of genius to keep the rhythm section subdued until the final 50 seconds or so. At the very point where most pop songs are winding down with "ad-lib to fade" etc, they're finally unveiling that soaring full-bodied arrangement . And, of course, on repeat listens you come to anticipate that upward shift from the beginning. Still works for me...
