and im sorry, but that makes me angry that you judge me before you know me.. im 20, i danced for 16 years and did competitive for like 6 of those.. so learn about someone before you judge them
i know my stuff.. i have taken dance for 16 years.. so maybe you should learn.. its not "that super easy" to do tricks.. it takes a LOT of upper body strength and flexability.. if everyone could do that they would have lots of teams doing acro.. and obviously it was "dancy" enough for the judges or they wouldn't have made it that far.. and im sorry if i "offended" you.. i was just replying to your "i wish they would do some dance"
where do you think you get the technique to do acro? i know for a fact that most acrobats, ESPECIALLY joanne chapman's are all trained in ballet, jazz, etc.
just because your a good gymnast doesnt mean your a great dancer. some of these moves are veryy simple, except for the gymnastics. The gymnastics is amazing, but there is probably 4 actual 8 counts of dance.
I'm starting to get really annoyed with all of the gymnastics. they're good at it, but dancing and gymnastics are two totally different things...keep it that way. but I love all the the things they did with their flexibility but just, dance more I guess.
i think this studio is amazingly talented, but from the videos i watched here, all of the acro dances are the same. same type of costume, same moves in a different order, same poses. i think with this talent they could think of some more creative ways to perform. good job though.
i never said it wasn't creative, i just think they could be more creative. i've been dancing forever, i've seen gymnastics and these people are extremely talented. i bet they could just add more stuff. it was just a thought.
their from cdc i competed with them once their really good but kinda mean, because one time at a compitition my studio had not gotten a diamond and they were really rude about it, (it was our first year at the competition)
the girls in this video are truly talented but i must question is this dance as an art form or as a sport, there seems to me to be no creative movement just technical poses, sure they can dance in unison but were is the life.
