You want to know the true ending to Silent Hill number 1? The true ending is Harry kills Cybil and he kills the god and she gives him the baby and he escapes the town. The true ending pretty much is Harry and the baby are the only two to escape the town.

No problem. The endings to this game are quite easy compared to the other. If you kill enough enemies or take enough damage, then you'll get different endings in the other games and that is just frustrating.

Oh, the one big thing that makes me sad, is that in the movies, and games, someone usually has a sad ending, and If the rumors are true, then if you visit silent hill and die, your soul is forever trapped in the bounderies of the hell on earth, and it makes me cry because harry mason was such a contributive character to the shanra!! Harry's death still breaks my heart to this day.

I recall my very first time playing of SH3. In the beginning of the game I jokingly told my brother "imagine if you go home and Heather's dad was really Harry except Claudia killed him" and once I opened that apartment's door, I cried.

I think it was basically for emotional impact on the players who had played Silent Hill 1, but it was also to change Heather's character. During the second part of the game she seemed to become more determined and less afraid. Thats just what I think lol
