This one is my favorite! It's great for bedrooms and everyday use! It still suspends the oils in the air like the nebulizer diffusers do, it does dilute the oils some with the water, but you still get the effects of the oils. It's great for constant diffusing. Not as good for a sick room, you want to use pure oil, like with the nebulizer diffusers. When diffusing lavender at night this one is great! Uses less oil, it runs for 8 hours, it's super quiet and it can do up to 2100 square feet!
Hi daniel7899999: The Home Diffuser (ultrasonic) is a great way to diffuse oils in a kitchen, bedroom or bathroom. The aroma of the oils is dependent on what oil you use (some are stronger smelling than others) and how much you include in the diffuser. Typically, 15 to 20 drops is a good amount.
I appreciate the demonstration. I just got mine today and wanted to see how it was done first (granted the manual booklet was there but felt better watching first). There was another benefit to watching this: I didn't know I could run it with ONLY the water and oil without putting it in the water tank! And I don't have the Thieves cleaner but I DO have a mist bottle I keep water and clove oil in to use for wiping counters and such. I'm going to get mine going with the Citrus Fresh RIGHT NOW! : )
good presentation of the newest diffuser offered (Sept 2009). Both Ultrasonics seem great for bedrooms, massage rooms, playrooms. I still love the nebulizer diffuser (the one that does not use water).
Again, thanks introduction and instructions offered in this video. It answered questions I had about the timer & "running" options.
The big selling point for me with the nebulizing diffuser was that it suspended particles of the oil into the air for hours... making ideal for serious inhalation therapy if someone was sick or something. What about this one? Is it more for scent, or does it actually suspend the particles in the air for hours the way the nebulizing one does?
Good comment. The nebulizer diffuser previously released was the top of the line and with terrific features, which is why I bought one. Not enough info presented here to convince me to switch from the one I currently use.
Oh, I thought this did the same thing the nebulizer did, only was safe for ALL oils unlike the nebulizer, which is only safe for lemon and the other thinner oils. The one before this is said to be safe even for sandalwood, which is too thick for the nebulizer. This one, I figured still puts it in the air and we're still going to get the same benefits (with the beautiful color and mist for soothing image). The versatiality of this is was MY point of sale.

How effective are these ultrasonic diffusers? How strong is the smell?
