I had to change to motor..lol..Im going tt possibly in jan...im doing the swap...2+2 twin turbo with a NA differential..already some serious power there...minus the 2+2 part...thats just more weight.....what state u located in?..reason i ask is because nissan is bringing the 370z out to different states and all nissan z's are welcomed...u should go.

My stock ECU hits rev at 7k rpm. I would expect a better outcome from a new ECU cause your car is not even faster than mine and I have stock ECU, lol.

wow..this is super old..alright..let me clear it up..in this video i was 16 at the time...young and dumb..little did i know my car was running on only 4 cylinders and i didnt even know...thats why my car had idle issues and obviously performance problems because there was a chipped ecu telling the car to do something it cant...anyways..long story short...i junked the z and got me another one...you will be surprised now how fast my new one is...but thanks for your comment..new video of the z soon

800 is really cheap. No mechanical problems whatsoever? I got mine around 4k, for my NA, good condition. Are you getting the swap or are you buying a TT?

well. i think NA is better because if you think about it TTs around this age have problems if not taken care of before + single turbo on NA = much quicker

is that upgrade harmful to the engine? Im just wondering why nissan would prefer it to cap out at 6000rpm instead of 7000 maybe this chip will wear the engine down faster?

I just bought my Z32 NA Auto 2+2 two weeks ago and seem to be experiencing the same problem with the revs, I guess I gotta get the ECU checked and upgraded, but thx for the video.

And kid, I dont know if you have actually run a car on the street against other cars for money, but a NA AT Z32 is slow. Its faster than a mildly modded civic, but slower than a '05 Civic SI. I love the Z to death, and I work on them, but the Z32 is no quarter horse. with 222HP and 198ft/lb of torque at 3400lbs, its no race car either. This is why my engine is getting swapped VH45DE here I come!

I have a NA Z32 AT and my car will shift at 7K RPM when I race. I just kick the O/D off.

I will agree that the stock ECU mapping sucks in a NA AT Z32.

For a 1996 N/A automatic 2+2 the 60 time is 7.4 seconds (6.8 seconds 1995 NA 2+2 Manual). By todays standards, this still can not be considered a slow car.

I just bought a 95 NA AUTO 2+ 2. When new, the 0-60mph time is 7.4 seconds, quarter mile 15.7 according to Road and track. This is adequate acceleration in my opinion, but unfortunately, my car seems more like it takes 9.5 seconds to 60mph (for the first couple seconds the car moves really slow). I have to find out why it's sluggish and fix it up.

Isn't the ECU upgrade only for automatics? And ur car has some idling problems. N u needed some gas. lol.
