  • Actually, all step mothers are scary... believe me

  • @missbouchra001 I can only imagine.

  • Hands... Hands... what about it?????

  • One of the most horrifying, well-made Asian horror films I have ever seen.

  • When I get freaked out, I just stop watching and listen. Boy, first part scared me!

  • NO LIGHTS IN THE FUCKING HOUSE?

    WHYYY

  • when i get freaked out i just kinda scroll down and hide the screen. xD

  • Nooo I wont go see 21 Jump Street, quit staring at me D:

  • Youtube needs spoiler alerts. v.v

  • The overly cheerful lady scares me the most so far

  • @kpopluver4eva19 : maybe they don't undrstand the story:)

  • aww i feel kinda bad for the stepmom so far, she tries

  • -SPOILER ALERT-

I wonder if the father noticed all the time that Su-mi is acting and talking as three people all the time?

  • @Acme633 If you notice...Dad is never around when all three are talking together...

  • - SPOIL ALERT -

But.. if both su-yeon and the stepmum is apart of Su-Mi's imagination, how can the farther talk to the stepmum too..?

  • @SuperGirlShoutsOMG -SPOILER ALERT-

Su-Mi THINKS that the father is talking to the stepmom, and she THINKS that she's watching the father talk to the stepmom; but actually, the father's talking to Su-Mi. Try watching a movie called Fight Club because in that movie, the situation is quite similar. The main character of FC thinks that he has listening and watching his friend named Tyler, but he's actually subconsciously watching *himself* in his own mind. Tyler is not his buddy. Tyler is HIMSELF.

  • @imcrazee101 oh okay.. i thought of that but i was not sure. THanks!

  • I don't get the part where she threw out the clothes. Can someone explain that to me?

  • @raysfroness well, the Stepmother saw the clothes that already prepared by Su-mi to her father. . . and she's kinda mad to her then she threw the clothes, and so she said to Su-mi that it's her (Stepmother) job to prepare those kinds of things!!!

  • @jamars09 Oh, okay. Thanks! :D That really helped!

  • The stepmother is quite attractive!

  • fu ck is this bull sh it this sh i t aint scary.

  • @bigheadedJ Then go watch something else.

  • The way the stepmother came out was scary:/

  • @Googlemonkey8 agreed~

  • why is she "supposed" to follow her sister..?

  • @woogeeee yes, the uninvited, which in my opinion, is a completely underrated movie.

  • @evhanstella Ehh, idk about The Uninvited being underrated...I mean, it is entertaining to watch, but not the best movie ever :/ Certainly not when compared with its inspirator. Still, I did find it to be scarier than ATOTS xD

  • @IluvKirito i think it's fairly underrated. the best movie? no. obviously you have to take it with a grain of salt, it IS just a teen horror movie, but still. it's got a good feel to it, great acting, and good story line, and a good twist.

considering its a remake AND a teen horror flick, i'd say it's pretty well done. and doesn't get the credit it deserves.

  • @bachtin10 Hey, hey, hey, let's not be discriminating here. Not all of us are stupid. Some, but not all. Everyone has a different outlook on remakes and some people don't like the subs so they remake it. If they would just follow the script exactly as it originally was, it'd be fine and dandy.

  • @woogeeee yeah, "the uninvited" with Emily Browning was based off this

  • DANGGGG THEY JUST GOT IN THE HOUSE AND SHE YAPPIN

  • dis stuff iz scarrrryyyyy

  • @ 0:37 I thought something was gonna grab her foot. LOL

and the music from 5:37 makes it even more creepy. >.<

  • Lol the first sis hates here a lot. That's why she speaks informal Korean to her.

  • Ok. That weird woman has already annoyed me... think that I'll dislike her for the rest of the film.

  • me:

"oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, door.. door... no.. don't open it.... AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH- oh... clothes."

    *deep breaths*

  • @julieruth35 I saw your comment and I still jumped when she opened the closet. XD

  • the stepmom is somehow kinda creepy. but i dont understand why the girls hav to be so rude

  • why do they hate her stepmother, yes she's a little bit chest and a little bit strange but after all she really cares about them and make meal.

They could be a little bit more friendly...

    thx for loading up^^

  • why do people have to argue. so many trolls. what satisfaction do you get from arguing with people you'll never meet.

  • @IDEAALBEELD1 dubbing saves a lot of money. And watch out, it's happening more and more in holland aswell...I guess once someone's used to it it's not too bad. In Holland people tend to like their favorite disney movies better dubbed than original, so the same could be when you're used to adult movies being dubbed. Fortunately there's always the original version you can look up if you want to and so did bachtin.

  • @IDEAALBEELD1

We pay high fees to foreign movie industries for copyrighted material, so we earn the right to do whatever we please we these movies in our country. By the way, you ARE aware that 98% off all German people additionally learn two foreign languages in school?

  • moun geun young is so cute

  • that shoes didnt interested me at all...why did the have to fight for just some stupid shoes ? LOL

  • its Kim Kapsu from All My Love! :D

i always wonder about horror movies...who keeps there house that dark!? XD

anyways i am already liking this~

    asian horror is THE BEST

  • does any body kno where i can watch the slit mouth woman (A.K.A. Carved) online

  • Don't they have lights in this house??? :|

  • @16lilmissm `lol! i was askin myself the same question

  • i can't completley bash the american version. If it werent for the american version i would have never heard about this amazing version :) asain horror films are fricken awesome!

  • @KelseaRoxOutLoud yeah......but the more it's better the more it's scarier

  • why the fuck dont they talk to their mother they're wierd can someone explain?!

  • @gerry7man555 i think it's because they don't like the step mom.. it's kind of normal for them to act this way since their mom just died.. calm down~

  • Totally irrelevant, but I wish Americans ate with chopsticks. They're so much more fun than forks.

  • @IaCthulhuPriest i hate useing forks! thats why i bought 48 pairs of chop sticks to use :P

  • wow. .the step mom said she'd be making dinner but came down the stairs with the laundry? this is why i love asian horror films. .it makes you think. .the more you think, the more you realize the horror :)

  • huh. a swiss clock, made in china, used in a korean movie. nice globalization.

  • awkward....

  • I don't get it. If the step mom here was make=believe and Su-mi and the step mom is the same person.. how could the father respond to the mother and .. ugh it doesn't make sense.

  • @wHarKeiD that is not the stepmother........that was soomi........u can when stepmother(soomi)....

talk to her father......he does'nt respone politely to her......coz..he know that her daughter sick..(soomi and so yeon at the table is her imagination).....and he gave her that pill....i'm also at first...don't get it....but now after watching it twice....i get and understand it....><...

  • is this like the uninvited??

  • @azarsaysyousmell Yea it is. Americans remade it so people could understand it better. I personally like this one more already...

  • @azarsaysyousmell This is the original version, The uninvited was a remake of this

  • How do you make a good horror flick?

Take an innocent-looking girl and make her psychologically disturbed.

  • this is like my third time watchnig this i used to have the dvd but no longer

  • when they are eating why is one of the sister eating white a fork and the rest of them chop sticks? at 9:08 you can see her put it a way

  • im glad they remade this because listening to this version is so annoying.

  • That mom talks fast xDD Lol..

Its like, i didnt catch a word you said o.o

  • "Welcome home!"

"It's been such a long time."

    "You've changed so much, So-Yeon."

    "You look prettier."

"But you two really disappointed me."

Wow tht really was really creepy. Crack lady.

  • waaahhh!! i am watching this now alone and it was night!!! and i'm all alone in my grandma's very spacious living room, where this computer is placed.. in my back was the sofa set and there was a big mirror place next the refrigerator !! • For a first appearance that tall woman is a bitch... =3=

  • hvent finish watch,,look like horor movie is it? Great:)

  • LOL, the mother really creeps me out! The way she greeted the two girls and all. Egh.

  • OMG that house is dark they don`t even open the window. lol. that scary. but i like dark though dont like opening the curtains but my sister and brother always open the curtain after going home from school. and i hate it. it distract me. When I`m in the stranger house like i dont know people and the place is dark. I will absolutely open the window. It so strange why the house is dark like in this movie. creepy.

  • 1. I love this movie! Its a good balance of beauty and darkness.

    2. "The Uninvited" is a remake of this film. Just like "Let Me In" is a remake of "Let the Right One In" (a German film) also a book.

    3. Isn't one of the sisters in this film the female lead in "I am a Cyborg" also starring Rain?

  • @Neonrain10029 let the right one in is swedish not german.

  • @deathylee Thank you for letting me know. My mistake "Let the Right One In" is a Swedish film. I just wanted to get the point across that "The Uninvited" was a remake.

  • @Neonrain10029 I hate to break it to you, Neonrain 10029, but Rain isn't made of Cyborgs, and vice versa. I wish I lived in your world... :(

  • @dystopianlover

sorry but i don't understand what your trying to say. I know Bi Rain isn't a cyborg, made out of cyborgs and cyborgs aren't made out of Rain, he's a human being. But I believe he was in a movie called "I am a Cyborg, But that's Okay" w/ one of the girls in this film.

  • @Neonrain10029' Let the right one in' is a Swedish film not German. Su Mi is in I'm a Cyborg

  • @Raider577 yup I know someone corrected me before but thanks for telling me.

  • Whats with all the America hate, can we all just agree that this is a great film?

  • What kind of house is that? WHY is it so dark?!

  • The lighting and the soft, sweet atmosphere of the scenes with the sisters outside make the darkness and ominousness of the house (and the stepmother) even more frightening, just because the contrast is so stark. Close attention to detail like that = great film making :)

Oh, and the fact that nothing has either spurted blood or jumped out at my face and yet I'm already scared says something too. ;) Nothing is more terrifying than foreboding silences...

  • is this is the korean version of The Uninvited?!?!

  • @Rikaaw mmhmm :)

  • @leeannjchoi too bad, I've already seen the American version, I know the ending, what a waste!I've heard that the korean version is even more awesome.

  • @Rikaaw this came out before the uninvited

  • The step-mothe is really pretty :o But kind of irritating :/

  • that step mom's voice is seriously annoying me

  • @bachtin10 lol

  • @bachtin10 I have to disagree. reading the subtitles makes me miss some moments in the film, the actor's play of emotion , the art and all. an di find dubbed version irritating.but i have to say, remakes arent always as good as the original.

  • @bachtin10 I hope you appreciate the fact that the only reason you can make that comment is because American inventors created YouTube in the first place, you nazi retard.

  • @bachtin10: Or they are admitting they do not possess any innovation.

  • @bachtin10 you nazi techno faggots :D

  • @tehWandals

    Shalom.

  • @bachtin10 Canadian mind you...

  • Guys, if you want to answer someone's question by revealing plot twists, please put a spoiler alert before your comment. Thank you.

  • did su yeon the one who play in i'm sorry i love u n sad movie?? waaa..i really like her a lot

  • Why is it always the step-mother's fault? i mean seriously, usually the mean ones are the step children.

  • The father is ignoring the terrible atmosphere in the house. I wonder whats going on for him. I expect all will be revealed!

  • warum nicht auf deutsch oder englisch die stimmen ist aber ok

  • ctfu they look scared as hell of that woman :D

  • The sisters are adorable

  • @StarBeari Yeah. I wouldn't have talked to her either.

  • The Step - Mother is annoying as fuck.

Oh my God she won't STOP being annoying! lol.

Su - Mi Is AWESOME and so is Sue - Yeon.

    The Father Is OK tho.

  • What I like about the start of the film is that the first 20mins or so are mainly silent. I prefer it for some reason

  • @SoraSays Yeah, it helps giving a very unsetteling mood, while it at the same time is very beautiful.

  • for some reason i feel sorry for the stepmother. i hate awkward moments D:

  • qreat movie but what an awkward family

  • girl in the red sweater is beautiful.

  • @Bluy0 shes attractive but the sister is simply beautiful too.

  • why does she shake her head and why did she turn the clock around?

  • already i scared of the step mother, im sure shes a nice lady in real life but man i would not like to marry her.

  • she's speaking so fast..lool

  • No electricity!!?? It's like torture!

  • *spoiler alert*

  • is it horror or family drama?

  • @bemjlovers Horror

  • horrible family drama

  • @bemjlovers A Tale of Two Sisters is a psychological horror film

  • of course she is..

  • why is she supposed to follow her sister?

  • @apatty94 i guess because Su-yeon is younger and the more sensitive one. Su-mi seems like she's less afraid of the step-mother anyway.

  • the stepmother is actually pretty attractive, and she's so nice, lol hard to believe she's evil =( i guess everything will be revealed later on. But stepmother, I like her right now.

  • Oh! That girl with short hair is actriss from Autumn Tale!!! She's lovely!!!!

  • the girl with the short hair is so cute

  • how can they live in a house so dark. i need light cause if its dark i get fricked out lol

  • It's a horror movie u know :D

  • ahh! I LOVE Asian Films! You alway know you are onto a good Korean horror or Drama when you have to watch the movie at lease twice to understand. and then after that, you can watch it again to pick up on new things. :) <3

  • i heard that the stepmother is meant to be evil..

  • Why are they so mean to their step mom?

Why is the stepmother so nice now when she's apparently evil?

    What are the pills for?

  • @StripedThumb

no offense but are you retarded? the moment they walked in she was rude. Than creey when she said "i'm so happy to see you getting better, i see your taking after your mom."-evil creepy face-

  • Awk, they're so mean to the poor stepmum! Poor pet :(

  • I think she's evil....

  • I feel like I've seen the actress that plays the step-mother somewhere...Isn't she the female teacher Ms.Choi, in Death Bell? Just asking ^__^;

  • @lilxxrei sorry no, the stepmother is played by Yeom Jeong-ah and the actress who played Ms Choi in Death Bell is Yoon Jeong-hee

  • ha, more like a bitchy step-mother ^__^ just saying...

  • what sumi see n d suyeon's hand???

  • Stepmother? Where? I don't see her?

  • the stepmother ddoesn't seem so bad. for now anyway.......
