The devils this year just made bad decisions and injuries and not being able to suit up a full team at the beginning of the year kind of hurt them in the long run. Ilya was a bad trade since he didn't really fit into the devils' style of play. They are now starting to play decent but in all it's too little too late for this season, the least we can do now is watch them hopefully ruin other teams seedings and get a few more w's.
