there was a concert in 99' a johnny cash and friends type concert that was on PBS and june came to sing Ring of Fire and she spoke about how she wrote the song for johnny and tossed a little joke along in there, i wish i could find it if i do i will post it
I miss them both so much. Great entertainers. They gifted the world with humor, fun, great singing, and interpretive ability. I saw Johnny and June's show in Milwaukee in 1981. Fantastic show. he had a voice of granite and fire.
I watched the video on TV of Johnny leaning over the casket at Junes funeral and it was heart wrenching! It brought a tear to my eye! I'm sure the Lord loved their music because He didn't take one without the taking the other.
