THERE is a red sonic ending but youve got to take a diffrent route.(i flipping well know coz ive played the game with the debug mode only and ive encountered the cool red sonic ending). basically i cant remember how i did it but i think youve got to abuse the debug and knuckles abilty to climb and follow sonics bosses where possible(by climbing up to them or using the debug mode) you also NEED all of the emeralds. but you can pick them up in the zone where you see them anyways

you can get to most of them in debug mode(or sometimes even in normal) by just CLIMBING to the boss fight where it would be.

What I always find interesting is that even though these are "wrong" battles, the game still correctly replaces Robotnik with Eggrobo. But yet they mussed up the one boss in the normal game by always making him Robotnik

Regarding that boss in the carnival zone (forgot the name). I was playing sonic 3 and knuckles on the sonic mega collection plus on my ps2 a few days ago and for some reason couldn't fight the boss i would've normally fought as knuckles and i ended up fighting gravitron mobile (due to a glitch). Seeing that reminded me of that moment

You can bit the boss that throws balls at you but it's very hard. You have to let the ball hit you in such a way that you get thrown to the top and into Robotnik.

It actually is possible to beat the boss at 2:53, but it's really hard. You have to get Robotnik to hit you with the ball launched out at top speed, and make it hit you so that you'll fall under the machine. Like I said, it's VERY hard though.

1.Eggman has jumped into a robot eggman but after his deafeat Eggrobo escapes from Robo Eggman.

Looks like Knuckles had to conquer himself in order to get the courage to press onward to the Death Egg.

You can easily see that Knuckles (the cinematic and boss character) is a different object than Knuckles (the playable character). They both load the same sprites, but the AI character has a pinker (Super Knuckles) Pallet.

The Red Eye boss can be beat with a simple Game Genie code that makes you jump as high as Sonic.

Finally, some one else beats the Death Ball the same way I do!

2:13 - The area where this boss is CAN be accessed by Knuckles without the Game Genie, but the boss simply will not appear. The other two Twin Hammer crates are there, but the one that actually RELEASES a Twin Hammer won't be there.

2:53 - Again, this boss IS accessable while playing as Knuckles. However, as stated, it's impossible to hit Robotnik NORMALLY here without debug.

If I remember correctly, the Marble Garden and Carnival Night Zone Sonic bosses don't need debug or game genie to get to. You can actually fight them through normal gameplay. The MGZ boss by carefully guiding the last spinning top to be able to reach the statue face that Knuckles can't normally reach, and the CNZ boss by doing some climbing on platforms right at the beginning of Act 2 before the underwater part of the level.

I was aware of the Carnival Night one not the Marble Garden one. (I knew it was possible with the game's beta, a glitch they fixed before release.)

I've never thought to try using the spinning tops.
