The black mages are amazing but in all honesty FFX begining melody should be left alone. The orcastral one compliments the original piano music. The rock and roll bit doesn't work here for th sheer fact that this song is supposed to symbolize a tragic and saddening moment. Also i think the black mages can do without a lead vocalist.

i HIGHLY dislike how they speed up the to zanarkand piano part in phrases. the whole point is for the song to be crying and projecting the sadness in those phrases, and if you speed it up it loses that message.

I always wanted FFX-2 to be a prequel rather than a sequel. I wanted it to be about Jecht's journey, or maybe Braska's journey through Auron's eyes(cause he is the only one who lives) anything but what they gave us. I mean seriously? FFX-2 was just crappy. FFX had such a good storyline and EVERYTHING revolved around death(a great theme that fit perfectly), while FFX-2 was about....finding lost love. Tidus should have stayed 'dead' sorry but it just fit more. FFX FTW, FFX-2 Epic Fail

If you watch after the credits Tidus swims up out of the water. Yes they should have left it for the imagination so it would have more impact. Happy endings aren't necessarily "bad" but they are predictable. I think in the very sombre world we live in, a happy ending just gives hope.
