I hunt with dogs and To be honest i dont think i could have hit that deer in less i seen him coming to me but once he came right in front you and ran up that hill i dont think i could have got em
Sometimes you can tell in the pitch or how that dogs barking whether hes right on that deers ass or not but the biggest buck i killed so far the dogs just hit the ground way far from me that started trailing and they hadnt even jumped the deer yet and the buck was already way ahead of em slippin off he knew they were on his scent trail he slipped right up 20yrds stopped looked back at the sound of the dogs looked forward winded air for maybe me but too late i balled his ass up
down here in fargo,ga were they run deer. The dog about one holl minute behind the deer!! LOL U should try still huntin were they run dogs if u havnt already!! U talkin about some mad huntin!!
slow dogs arent as fun as fast dogs, need a good scotch deerhound, or a well bred lurcher for this sort of thing. infact my mates 22" bull x greyhound regularly takes deer.
I am so glad you caught this on your camera, because ppl make it seem like it is so easy to kill a deer. I have missed quite a few deer running this fast. GREAT VID!!!!!!!!!
pablo is part ridgeback...that little yip just drives me crazy, I love it! He only does it when he is on a hot trail. anyone know if it is bread specific?
its not, check some fox hunting videos and listen to the hound music. if you like the noise your dog makes, wait until you hear 40 excited foxhounds. i think theres a good vid called hound music in the mist, or in the woods or something.
that deer was haulin ass hahah
