  • nice

  • funny comments on here, dont listen to everythiing that Eddie Ervine says in the press, it was a stupid comment for him to make at the time. It should be pretty equal between Lewis and Jenson, but Lewis will probably edge him in quali and Jenson having the better race pace, but will soon see

  • only reason jenson is world champion is because of team orders!!

    ironically most evident in spain!!!

  • @xxxsde Thats naive and untrue. Barrichello was beaten fair and square. He just wasn't good enough to beat Jenson when their car was the best on the grid. Even when he got pole in Interlagos he just kept on going backwards while Jenson romped from 14th to 5th.

  • @LeJimster -Mate,lets not kidd ourselves, the truth is that Ross never wanted RB to win..RB was always put on the worst possible strategy which made it impossible for him ..Look a singapore for eg-they filled him light knowing that he had to undertake a 10 place grid penalty and they were not going to be quick enough to get in the top 5.. Numerous other instances also-in spain it was just blatantly obvious..in Brazil, rubens lost because of the safety car and changing of tyre pressure by the team

  • @xxxsde Ross never wanted RB to win? Seriously wrong. Ross could have handed plenty of other drivers the seat. But he chose RB to be in the team because he knows and trusts him. RB wrecked his own chances of winning the title by being rough with the clutch and stalling his car SEVERAL times throughout the year, which then cast doubt on reliability. The fact is RB has his own race engineer who want him to win, and between him + RB they got it wrong a few of times resulting in RB's "blablabla"

  • @LeJimster -Ross chose RB because hi s experience and his setting -up skills, which are unmatched in the paddock.. Brawn needed someone of his caliber ..Clutch problems were inherent in the car,it wasnt Rubens fault..btw you didnt offer an argument on my earlier comment abt brazil, singapore etc..and you cant either because its true...Jenson is an avg driver at best..anybody who has followed f1 over the past 10 season knows that!!!

  • @xxxsde Average drivers do not win races. Nevermind 6 in one season. Average drivers do not come from 14th in the wet to win their first race. JB overtook more drivers and was more consistant than anyone else in 2009. It's not his fault if his competitors let the ball drop. And no, the clutch problem isn't a car problem. It was discussed at length by DC/Brundle/Jordan and they all agreed it's a weakness RB has had with every team he's drived for.

  • @LeJimster -He won because his car was significantly better than the rest..Earlier in the season..the car suited JB more than RB.,he complained throughout of brake problems..

JB has been beaten by every single team-mate he has ever had....He is an average driver at best!!he was at the right place at the right time and he had team orders to go with it,,lewis will crush him!!!

  • @xxxsde

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. JB is a supreme talent in my eyes, who has only had 1 real chance to win the WDC and he has convincingly done it.

I think if he had kept attacking/taking chances he would have wrapped the title up sooner, but having the lead ALL season put pressure on him which you saw lifted after Brazil.

Lewis is an immense talent also, but he only just managed to scrape the extra point he needed to win his WDC, exciting but hardly convincing.

    Bring on 2010!!

  • @LeJimster -that's fine for you to have your opinion but what has Jenson ever done to be judged as a supreme talent???As i said,he has been comprehensively beaten by all his team mates!!!

na i disagree, when other teams caught up and Brawn sorted Rubens brake problems..Jenson struggled and showed he was not worthy of a WDC..He will always be an average driver who got lucky!!!

  • @xxxsde GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! 2000= Ralf beats by 12pts 2001= Fisi beats by 6pts 2002= Beat Trulli by 5 pts 2003= Beat Villeneuve by 10 pts (a WDC no less) 2004= Beat Sato by 51 pts 2005= Beat Sato by 36 pts 2006= Beat Rubens by 26 pts 2007= Beat Rubens by 6 pts (dog car) 2008= Rubens beats JB by 7 pts (dog car) 2009= Beat Rubens by 18pts So in the last 10 seasons he's been beaten 3 times, 2 of those in his first 2 seasons (forgivable) and once in a dog car. Comprehensively beaten, my ass.
  • @LeJimster-not all but by most..Ralf beat him, fisi beat him ,rubens beat him...Trulli should have beaten him(he was quicker but suffered technical issues on several occasions)...so whose left??sato is average ..ya ok he beat JV. JV was abt to retire..but he scored only 17 pts the whole season.. exceptional drivers show their class in ordinary cars..eg-alonso for minardi,MS for jordan, kimi for sauber..Jenson has never shown anything ..he won in budapest once coz the others crashed out!

  • @xxxsde Lewis did not crush him. 270 vs 227 points..... Feel like eating your words yet ?

  • Eagle is a twats name. Average driver. Completely collapsed in the second half of the season. Maybe the least talented world chamion ever.

  • i wish i could give you infinte thumbs up! i totally agree. he couldnt pass kobayshi in brazil, and couldnt overtake webber in abu dhabi. a champion cant pass a 1st race driver!

  • @AngretLord eh, except he DID pass Kobayashi in Brazil. What made it exciting was Kobayashi was throwing his weight around and making it very difficult for EVERYONE on the track. He caused Nakajima to crash through insane blocking. Also, Jenson was the only other driver besides Kobayashi in Abu Dhabi to make the race exciting. Also I think yoiu are doing a disservice to Webber, he's extremely underrated, but has supreme talent. Remember this is his 1st year with a good car just like button

  • button didnt do shit in abu dhabi! he didnt makr the race exciting....i dont know were you got that from. disservice for webber.....quiet the opposite. and kobayashi is the first decent japanese driver since Nakajima. and the reason he beat kobayashi, because after keeping him at bay 4 so long, toyota told him to let him pass

  • Best guy in F1, deserves everything he gets and great skill and composure.

  • Nice Video +5

  • Jenson buttons a winner because he don't make mistakes. not like Lewis Hamilton that crashed in the lane leading to the pits. and i bet he wins more than one point. In a car that was not the best of the rest like hamilton car last season win win win win out of five

  • true say sir!!!!!!!!!!! plus he's also doing it for engalnd

  • Jenson Button is the best~!

  • Indeed, what a legend.
