Regarding her age issue, I guess the reason is -- she is a simple girl. You can see this from her friends' description and her screening show in which she was scolded by Wu, Qixian.

Also, I don't think she changed her genre to cater this show. Look into her experience. Can

you image a bar singer performing Britney's songs? I can not, at least.

In fact she is 25. It's quite strange if she really "claim" that she is 23. Every one can easily discover her true age from the internet. At least she never say so in public and all the friends around her know she was born in 1983. TWW attended supergirl 2006 at the age of 25 too and that didn't stop her from getting the 2nd place.

It sounds like another "conspiracy" of HNTV to me. Not only once HNTV said Yu was born in 1983 and is 23 when introducing her. How ironic!

What is wrong with attending the competition 3 years ago and coming back again? Jiang Yingrong, Li Yuanxi, Zeng Yike, Pan Chen, Liu Xijun all attended other competitions before and have changed their style more or less. So what?

She's fake classy. 3 years ago, she was prancing around stage singing Britney Spears type of songs. But she couldn't win with that style of music.

Now she's back with a cutey pie haircut, singing jazzy/soft Nora Jones songs... She looks adorable, but it's so fake!

Contrast this to Jiang Yingrong who has her own R&B style and is naturally sexy like Janet Jackson.

Yu Kewei found herself in the past 3 years. People change, and Yu Kewei did so for the better. Have you seen Huang Ying three years ago? Huang Ying is my favorite, but she also pranced around singing Britney Spears type of songs three years ago....thank goodness she doesn't anymore.

I like Huang Ying too. Sad that she isn't in it anymore.

The thing about Yu is that when I heard her in an interview, it kind of surprised. me. She seemed much more like the pretty, cheerleader, pop star type than the reserved, sweet, innocent type she portrays on stage.

So it made sense to me that she sang Britney type songs before. It's not like she "found herself" over the 3 yrs. More like, she adopted a different image.

I doubt if you really watched the show. It's still a little early to say "Huang Ying isn't in anymore". And for your information, Britney type songs were only tried by Yu in 2006's super girl competition, and it didn't go very well. Her style before that was very different.

I was a little surprised to find out what Yu likes in real life too. But I believe both "Yu" are real. I won't be surprised if she try other music styles and show the other selves in the following competition.

Even Faye Wong and Wang Leehom started out with crappy pop before they found their own style. It's called being young and experimenting.

I like Jiang Yingrong too though.
