  • Love the Florida shirt for snowblowing!

  • I've got a '75 Ariens..... runs great.... to your comment for the guy who has the 84..... just regular maintenance.. change teh oil, tune it up, store it inside when not in use..... we always have rain after snow here in the maritimes and mine is like a tank in the heavy snow

  • You look like your throwing the snow in your previous path? It looks like one of those nights where you just cleared a path and by the time you turn around and look at it its filled with snow! Man i hate those nights!

    -ac

  • ever start in the middle of your drive/gateway

  • bud i hope youve gotten a little faster and know you machine better than u do hear cuz i could shovel faster than your blowin it. as a snow removal business owner i hope to see you progess and see you grow into a business. keep pluggin away bud!

  • I have a old 1984 Ariens with a 7hp Techumseh I wouldn't trade that for any other snowblower on the market today cause they aren't built anywhere near as well as that rugged old beast. And to this day it still starts up on the 2nd pull, needs to warm up a bit before use but it's still a great product, although I wouldn't mind having the 13hp Ariens at the place I work at :D

  • Hey Cumminsturbofan, I'd love to see a picture of you 84 Ariens. What do you do with it as for maintenance? I'd like to keep my machine for the next 30 years.

  • I didn't buy it new, I can get one if you want. it has been professionally tuned up every year for the season I powerwashed it when I got it. Keep fresh oil I personally use John Deere torque gaurd

  • last year i went to Florida and while we were there back in Tornto was getting a snow storm. we got 4 and a half feet of snow. In Toronto!

  • did you get stuck at 0 : 24? BTW i just bought a Ariens Sno-Tek it has a LCT Stormforce engine. I can't wait till it snows so i can use it

  • is that self propelled?

  • Yes it is self propelled, 6 speeds fwd and 2 reverse. Honestly, the highest i ever take it is 3....I can't keep up with it. Plus you have to let the machine take in the snow, and here the snow can be very heavy and wet.

  • Coach - where is our snow man !!!!! I hope 2010 has a good pounding of old man Winter. Have a happy new year and I hope you post a new vid soon too.

    Cheers

  • since it was the very first time, I had the positraction disengaged...I didn't know it at the time. The wheels were spinning and I was going nowhere. Trust me, after last winter, I do not make that mistake anymore. Your Machine is a Beast...lets hope we get killed with snow this year.

  • if I didn't have a Honda I would quite likely have an Ariens, they are both beasts. Areins makes some big, powerful and extremely well built snow blowers. The only reason I don't have one is, probably just because I'm a Honda fan!

  • and the only reason I do not have a Honda is because money is tight and I can't afford one. They are fantastic machines, that throw snow a mile away and NEVER get stuck in snow or slip on ice. They are the Ferrari of snowblowers.

  • finally someone lives in Chicago. i live in Niles. i got a craftsman track drive snow blower and i got mines $100.00 from the flea market by o'hare airport. home depot has great selection of snow blowers, especially ariens with B & S moters. by the way i cant wait til snow falls like 3' in chicago. but the days are going so slow and still its october with col temps.

  • I got mine yesterday at Home Depot. Ariens 30 deluxe, agent said it doesnt come with horsepower anymore in the future. so mine is 360 cc . I can't wait for the snow to touch down in Chicago. I hope i chose the right machine. I watch your video a 100 times, so i decided to get one too. Thanks

  • Hey my brother, I checked your model, it is a cadillac...great features and the new Briggs and Stratton motor is the most efficient and quietest on the block. Welcome to Team Orange.

    Pacquiao, Pacquiao!!!

  • Hey Coach,

Great video. I'm also a proud owner of the 927LE and love the machine. I'm watching your video as I type and cannot wait until we have snow. Let the engines run!

  • Me too, I keep hoping that we start getting snow in september. Keep in touch with the rest of the Team Orange boys so we can exchange maintenance tips and notes.

  • Snow is a beautiful creation

  • Great video! Thanks for posting.

  • Theres nothing like an Ariens. I have that blower...gear 6 all the way through.

  • I dont know how you can do it at gear 6. I cant even walk that fast. The fastest I can keep up is at 3rd. It just moves to fast. Strong machine tough. I love it each time i use it.

  • thanks for the reply.its good to hear from others regarding the same machine. Im not sure whats up with my machine but gear six is slow...maybe needs adjusting. wish it went faster but ill probably read the manual.

  • lol...6th speed is slow but you can't make it go faster than speed 6. i think they should make 8 or 10 speed machines....

  • Greetings, also from Quebecland! Great Video!

I've bought myself an Ariens too and mine is a 9526DLE..I can't believe how powerful those Orange Monsters are! I absolutly love it!

Did you know that Ariens even sell Chrome wheel covers for our snowblowers? Think i'll save some money and HotRod it a bit with those Wheel Covers ;-)

  • you're kidding...where can I get some? I want to chrome it up too.

  • yeah, you can go through it faster than that! he just has it set too slow. he should be 3rd or 4th easy with that machine.

  • Looks like that thing blows the snow pretty well. I'm still a Honda fan though, my HS80 could go through that stuff in 2nd or maybe even third gear.

  • I have a 927LE and i love it!!!

  • ah nevermind found the answer in my engine manual. Anyway it's been a great machine so far this winter. Cheers from Ontario!

  • Cheers from Quebec my friend, I am going to do my first oil change this week. My dealer advised me that after the first 5 hours of usage is fine. Although the manual says 2 hours. I guess 2 hours couldn't hurt.

The machine is great, but the weather outside is Rainy...that sucks.

Let me know how your Orange Monster is doing.

  • Hi again nice video! Have been loving my same unit as well this winter. Have you changed the oil yet? What is the oil capacity on this thing?

  • So funny. I have the same machine and watched your other video from the fall (actually, I watched it several times) when you started it up ... I needed to see what I was in for. Nice to see it in action. I used mine tonight too. Mashed up the snow real good.

  • Team Orange Man !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have the same machine... let the snow come cause this machine will chew ice and snow far to the next door neighbours yard...lol

  • we had snow, then about an inch of freezing rain on top. The machine cut through it and threw it 20 feet away.

  • Baby you can blow my snow anytime! I love ya!

  • That is a great video of that Ariens baby in action...You should have blasted that car that crossed your driveway...hahaha !!!!! That was close man. I can't wait to really test mine in the snow like that...here in Southern Ontario it just wasn't enough to bring out the blower with only 4-5cm.

Great vid and cool sound track too !!!

    Cheers

  • best video on youtube. Thumbs up!

    That's how we roll
