Interesting career, Katherine Healy. I recall seeing her in a skatin special with John Curry when she was quite young. Then, she went on with her ballet. Later, I remember her being in a pro skating competition after she had left ballet. She had brought all that grace back to the ice. I believe she was being coached by Peter Borroughs, to whom (if I'm not mistaken) she was married. If I'm wrong about that, sorry...my bad. Crossed-wires.

This was absolutely wonderful to watch. I first heard about Katherine Healy when I read the book "A Very Young Skater," and knew that she was studying ballet at the same time that she was skating. About a year later, she was featured in a televised skating exhibition with her good friend and mentor, John Curry. She is extremely talented in so many ways. Thank you for posting this. :)
