Reallyillogical :S I have 2 PQI U172P $Gb usb drives. The issue is that one of those works fine with Win 7 X64 ultimate, file transfer copying, reading, deletng, all's good. BUT when attaching the other one. to the SAME machine. it completely freezes the system (forced reboot needed). WTF!? same model, same manufacturer, same capacity, ALL'S THE SAME just that one is white and the other one is blue :S. BTW both work perfectly both in XP and Vista.
hi, i got a bit further than you . . i can plug in my USB drives and External hard drives and you can watch movies or what ever from them . . when i go to transfer a file to or from it . .. it goes about half way them my transfer freezes, and a forced restart is needed =[ BTW im using Windows 7 64 bit on a very powerful machine . .. this problem drives me up the wall!!

@Fokogrilo No. In the 2 years I've had it the only solution I had was to go out and buy a cheap USB thing that plugs into your motherboard.
