@ElGolfeux Ya ever think he hit something besides a driver off the tee? Think of Tiger Woods for example. How many times in a round would he hit driver off the tee. Not many. 340,235,270,380,225 would be a 295 yard average. That is a hitting a 2 iron, 3 wood, 3 iron, and driver off the tee.

How tall and heavy is Dunaway? Does he do alot of gym work to hit the ball that hard? Do you need to eat loads of porridge to hit it up to 380 yards. Is that 380 on level ground with regulation clubs and no wind?

Burrying the club into the carprt is how i hit a draw shot. Leading with the hands ahead is how i hit a streight shot. The iron byron is NOT how the body works you can not model the human swing to a single pivot point machine they are so different from each other.

Mike was long but didn't completely 100% grasp everything Mike Austin was doing. Dr. Austin was 20 mph faster in his day.

@Inmotion70 I've just seen a video where Austin says that Dunaway was (at the time) probably ''the longest hitter that has ever lived''.....I don't think Austin would say that if he didn't think otherwise. Do you know any of Austin 3 wood and iron distances? All I've seen as far as distance goes are the 515yd drive, that he broke 400yd barrier in 1937, and something about a 220yd 8 iron?

this is the guy that john daly talks about , when he says how there was a guy back home who always out drove him. Since i have learned this swing ( mike austin swing) I have never hit the ball better and straighter. Watch " le swing de mike dunaway2 ". The most perfect flowing swing around. Dunaway is Callaways teaching professional. He knows his shit. He was driving 380+ with those little 260cc heads .
