  • at 2:50 Jordan just made Hardaway his bitch

  • 95-96 Bulls team greatest ever

  • Marv Albert's commentary was made for MJ. It just fits like a glove. MJ never forgets. He went on a retribution mission against Orlando in that series.

  • the finals of the finals turned into a massive ass whoop by game 4 u felt like making a donation wasnt funny no more

  • The story of orlando getting punked after beating rusty jordan45 should be spoken of more often

  • @1upirons stop please

  • Those of us that have been blessed to see Jordan play can appreciate what he has done for the game of basketball. No one can compare, especially Kobe who just got swept. Champions dont get swept.

  • @KQH8 Amen brother!

  • @KQH8

Really now? Champions don't get swept? MJ was swept in '87 by the Celtics... yea.. kinda invalid if you ask me... Magic got swept in '83 also if you didn't know....

  • @oneman91 - says "Champions don't get swept" Yeah maybe one time in a career and if they're young BUT SHAQ WAS SWEPT AN AMAZING 6 TIMES ! Shaq is so USED TO BEING SWEPT that the opposition has the BROOMS out already when BEEFY BOY SHAQ comes to town !

  • @42marisol1 ....u mean shaqq was swept 6 times....yet STILL won twice as many rings as wilt.....wow....simply amazing...

did i mention wilt was swept by the 38-41 syracuse nationals.....SWEPT by a losing team.....wilts preferred method of losing was game 7 chokes though.....thats why sam jones outscored him in all 4 game 7s of wilt vs celtics, and how a crippled willis reed was still able to whip wilts ass in game 7 of the 70 finals....LMAOOOOOOO

  • It actually looks like Pippen is tickling Hardaway at 2:51, which may explain why it wasn't called a foul, because Hardaway's arm traps Pippen's.

  • I miss the old Magic :(. I miss 90's basketball :(, ever since 2000, basketball hasn't been the same

  • @ 4:18 i'm reminded of how influencial jordan's swagger must have been on Kobe. How many times have we seen kobe bryant mimic this shot.

  • This series was what a fully returned Jordan lusted for after falling to the Magic the year before. There was no way he was gonna lose to the Magic, or any team again on his way to a 4th NBA Title. And as spectacular as MJ was during this series, it was nothing new. Come playoff time, the man simply went to an even higher level as if he were some sort of Super Saiyan playing basketball! Not Shaq, Not Malone, Not Hakeem, Not Ewing, Not ANYONE could stop the Bulls when Jordan was in this zone...

  • @RAV52 I must say, i'm a laker fan, but most of the basketball followers picked orlando to win this series, I knew the bulls would take this, and in sweeping fashion, rodman shut down shaq, horace grant (ho grant) shut it down after game 2 (fake elbow injury), brian shaw calls in game 3 (fake sore throat), scottie locked down, luc played strong, and jordan showed the world that he was all the way back, and the previous year's elimination was a facade....

  • Damn Shaq, I know losing sucks, but at least shake some hands. Losing is different when you give it your all and lose to some of the greatest. Maybe it could make you come back and be better.

  • @spazola789 This was the year i believe that shaq was snubbed in the all star game to give jordan the mvp, so i am sure there was some hard feelings about that, add to the fact that the most dominant center in the game and one of the most dominate players in the nba bar none, was stopped by dennis rodman in part, it had to be a hard loss for shaq nm getting swept.

so even as a die hard jordan bulls fan i cannot fault shaq for his walking off the court.

  • @skywolf23 -salutes- After knowing all of that, I'd have to agree with you.

  • wow 16-23 fgs for a guard

  • gotta love that jordan 11s

  • The was the time when everybody was on the Magic nuts after Magic put them out last year. So Pip, Jordan had to come back and say Oh Yeah. Then all the magic fans who were once BULLS fans, say "Oh yeah Bulls my favorite team."

  • sexy performance and sexy jordan IX's

  • I like how back in the days, people scored and play defense. Why do players now have to dance and sing after every bucket as if they scored a touchdown? Makes you wonder about the quality of the players. MJ drops 45 like a professional. Now it's all hollering like children!

  • Shaq walking off, what a loser...

  • hardaway was like oh shit jordan gon dunk haha 2:50

  • 2:50 Mike, PLEASE don't hurt em!!!

  • Haha, shaq bringing the ball up court on a fast break. :)

  • Im just mad at the fact that now in days teams dont play defense as hard as they use to. Especially the super star players. Jordan was the only gaurd that got a offensive and defensive title in one season. (correct me if I'm wrong please)

  • Damn he was so athletic for his time he could shoot over anyone

  • This muthafucka just so pretty at every move. They are actually playing good, solid defense against him and CANNOT STOP HIM. Best EVER Lived and that will ever LIVE. LOOK AT THE SHOES JORDAN GOT ON!!!!

  • It's easy to forget how good MJ was .......but damn he was good.....no disrespect to the current generation, but 23 in 1996 was the most refined basketball player ever....and for the record HE WOULD KILL KOBE LBJ PENNY , shit he'd kill himself if he had to.....LAST OF THE KILLAS from the 80's

  • He was truly unguardable.

  • @jaytolbert9 Umm let's not forget that Kobe put up 55 on Jordan when he was with the Wizards. Now that Jordan wasn't the same as 1996 of course but he still was capable of dropping 50 and 40 points as he did. Let's not forget Kobe scored 30 on the Bulls in 1996 and Jordan couldn't guard him. Let's not forget Kobe was benched in the all-star game in 98 for what htey percieved was him showing up jordan. Jordan is the GOAT but Kobe doesn't back down to ANYBODY and skill wise is Jordan's equal!

  • @chiladin

you know that was jerry stackhouse guarding him in that game right? mj was 40 and just off knee surgery...so the fact that he was able to have 30 point games (let alone 40 and 50 point games) at that age is remarkable. and i remember that game in 96...thats when kobe had 30 with the majority coming in garbage time as the bulls were up 30, right? i think mj was watching from the bench as he already had 36 himself...

  • @chiladin When jordan was guarding kobe, he forced kobe 1 TO, got 1 steal in the 3 times he guarded kobe during the game.

  • @chiladin

Skills wise? Kiss my mother fucking ass. I won't argue on youtube, seeing as how you obviously know shit. Instead, I'll ask you to go look up "career playoff" stats and compare the two. After doing that, you'll finally get the education you clearly lack.

Kobe's nothing but a modern Wilkins with 2 rings. Unlike Jordan, he only won 2 as "the man". The other three were Shaqs team.

  • @Nintariz If you won't argue then why are you even responding? lol I'm not talking about stats or numbers.I like Kobe and Jordan and i'm from Chicago and seen Jordna play live! To compare Kobe to Nique shows you don't know shit and he has 5 rings not 2 learn how to count. I guess Pippen doesn't have 6 since he never one them as the man or McHale doesn't have any rigs either then and James Worthy isn't deserving or any rings nor is Tony Parker? lol Basketball is a team sport. Kobe has 5 rings!!!

  • @Nintariz And I don't recall talking to you anyway.lol.Like I said Jordan is the GOAT but I will not elevate Jordan in order to demean Kobe, Lebron or Wade. That's asinine because either way it goes Jordan played in a different era. To many people from my pops generation Kareem is the GOAT and too many in my grand-dad's generation Oscar Robertson or Wilt is the GOAT. And for alot of these young kids they think it's Kobe and soon they will be saying Lebron or Wade and then Durant and Rose.

  • @chiladin yeah ur right!!!

  • @Nintariz And why would you tell another man to kiss your ass that's kind of homo to me? lol Kobe patterned his game after Jordan but Dr.J and David Thompson were Jordan's muse's! Even Shaq himself said that by their 3rd ring Kobe was the BEST player in the NBA. Was he the leader ? No! But he played an integral role in their success and was a starter so for you to think that he didn't earn those 3 rings with Shaq shows you're a dick and a hater. Ya'll take this sport shit too personal.lol.

  • Shaq look like Labron James when he(Lebron) lost to orlando. Shakes noone hand. Just walk off the court.

  • I remember watching that playoff run by the Bulls, what was scary is that it seemed like Jordan was better than he was before retirement that 96 year.

  • this man is destroying those boyssss

  • hoopsencyclopedia do you play basketball? you need to see this - 50inch vertical[dot]com. You must take a look! I m 5 9 and started dunking after just 2 months of the program!

  • That's all the Bulls did back then--sweep teams!

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID# I'm only 5 9 and I dunk nonstop. I m in my school's varsity team and my dunking intrigues the crowd (the girls lol). It was truthfully extremely simple, I just used the unique training workout over at 50inch vertical[dot]com - I m sure you can probably do it too

    Michael Jordan 1996 Playoffs: Gm 4: 45pts, Shaq/Penny Swept

  • Its too bad the Magic never kept that team together. I think Shaq leaving forced Penny too play hurt becuase many people blamed him for Shaq leaving. Shaq stays and Penny doesn't get hurt and lose his speed the Magic might have won some championship. Although the Bulls would have been around the Magic with Shaq and a healthy Penny might have beaten an old 98 Bulls team that was beginning to show their age.

  • three point line?

  • SO thought Shaq was gonna swat MJ @ 2:25

  • Didn't a LOT more players actually stay in college back then for at least 2 years or so ?? Seems like it was a SMARTER league back then, as well as the old games being more enjoyable than the ones today. Today we see FAR too many morons with all the tatoos and dead beat daddy pop music fans looking for their single mom night club sluts in the audience somewhere ! My favorite modern bball player is Ray Allen, just class and a great shot, no need for the immature uneducated pop music influences.

  • Lil Penny with the shake and bake at 1:47, against Pippen too who was at the time probably the best on ball defender in the league, it's a shame that guy lost his speed after the knee surgeries, he was special

  • @Ninety2q This video does not show Pippen and the Bulls taking Orlando through a clinic on 'D' over the final 17 minutes of the game.

  • lmao rodman was probably whispering in shaqs ear or something stupid he was such a manipulator of the game haha

  • Yep, as much as I might sound like a hack for this Jordan could have scored 150 points with the defense Kobe played against, think about it all the physical beating from teams like detroit and the knicks you had to take to score, and we get excited kobe dropped 81 against a Toronto a team, that even at the time wasn't considered even a good team. 80-90 basketball was just like 80-90 music, sure nowadays we have good songs, but they'll never beat what it used to be.

  • amen to that bro, its SO FUkn True!

the way they now, playn defense is a lost art.

  • @fatkid187 no way jordan could have score 150 you dam dummy kobe is real close to michael jordan

  • @fatkid187 damnit there it is, real talk

  • @fatkid187 I know its been a year or more since you posted your comment, but you literally took the words out of my mouth. Your statement is one of the best that I've ever read on YT. I don't think there will ever be a time like that of the 80s and 90s in regards to B-Ball.

  • @fatkid187 well it doesn't sound so out of this world if you think how effortlessly did Jordan score 50 when he nearly 40 years old...

  • @fatkid187 Shuit the fuck up no damn guard or anybody in the any NBA era would score 150 points you lame ass fool. You're stupid for saying that and ANYBODY who liked this comment is a fucking jag-off! Let's Jordan be the greatest player ever (which he is) but Kobe Bryant is a damn legend in his own fucking right asshole!

  • @chiladin truth, truth, and nothing but the truth..lolll.....Kobe is one of the top 5 greatest players to ever play this game.....and we found out who lebron james from how he played in the finals..lolll

  • @scorpionJB Top 5?!!? Hell no! Top 20..yes. Bryant is not a top 5 all time player!

  • @MIKESOWELL he's definitely top 5, mostly everyone who would truly be considered in the top 20, w/the exception of ISIAH THOMAS (who's top 15), has won a single championship at max, plus kobe bryant was the best player of the past decade, and his level of play hasn't curtailed since he's been in the league, and before anyone says KOBE didn't win w/out SHAQ, MAGIC wouldn't have won w/out kareem, worthy, scott, and BIRD don't win w/out mchale, johnson, or parish. he has 5 rings, the same as MAGIC

  • @scorpionJB You're only mentioning perimeter players. Top 10 all time: Jordan, Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain, Magic, Bird, Russell, Robertson, Olajuwon, O'Neal, and Duncan.

  • @MIKESOWELL I was responding to your post, not who's the top 10 all time, Iv'e always said jordan is the greatest, and kareem is the best center ever, the 2nd greatest, wilt for me was not a top 5 player considering the fact he was a horrible free throw shooter, and played during the time he was the only 7 footer plaing, russell, much respect, I would say he's #6, Robertson is not better than Kobe either, but he's top 10, top 11, everything robertson could do, Kobe has done.

  • @scorpionJB Tell me exactly what Kobe does better than Oscar?

  • @MIKESOWELL I really don't like to compare eras, I respect all eras of basketball, but regarding as far as shooting guards, the only other shooting guard who can unequivocally be said to be better than KOBE is JORDAN...I realize OSCAR averaging a triple double in a single season, and the consensus is that JORDAN is the greatest ever, and JORDAN, as great as he was, never average a triple double for a season, so does that make OSCAR better than JORDAN?

  • @MIKESOWELL Magic/Bird is definitely top 5, but look at Kobe, he has 2 more rings than BIRD, SHAQ's game was already in declined the year he won his 4th title w/the heat, D-WADE was the reason the heat won the title, SHAQ'S number was already in decline.....and there's no way DUNCAN is better than KOBE considering the fact DUNCAN's spurs only beat the lakers once, and that was the year after the lakers already 3peated, HAKEEM, technically, he's better than both shaq and wilt due to his skill

  • @scorpionJB Rings are not a stat. When you look at what each player meant to his team, his accomplishments, and his level of play sustained, Duncan was better than Kobe. The only thing that Kobe really has are his scoring accomplishments. He was a good defensive player, but he was never a great defensive player like the media tends to make him out to be. Wade should have been on the last 3 All Defensive Teams. Kobe does not make his teammates better. Oscar did, Bird did, Jordan did, Magic did.

  • @MIKESOWELL the theory about KOBE not making his teammates better has been misconstrued...just about every signficant play that was made during the LAKER 3peat run from 2000-2002, was facilitated by KOBE, the alleyoop to shaq against portland, from KOBE, the game winning 3 point shot by HORRY during game 3 of the 2001 1st round against portland, (made by kobe)...the same argument was made about jordan until his team matured and scottie pippen emerged

  • @scorpionJB kobe is just a super jerry stack house go home

  • Comment removed

  • @alexandra72821 you gotta be kidding me, I won't even waste breath to respond to this.......

  • @MIKESOWELL they didn't say JORDAN made his teammates better until he won his first championship....they said IVERSON wasn't a team player, but he had no reliable 2nd scoring option to rely on, and the moment he was traded to the denver nuggets, running the point (although he was a shooting guard), he was leading the league in assist, I love BIRD/MAGIC (I'm a laker fan), but they never was accused of not making their teammates better because they had supreme talent on their squad to play with

  • @MIKESOWELL in 2009-2010, KOBE led a team during our playoff run with a 7 man rotation (never heard of in league history), a team missing it's starting center due to injury, or injury limiting his play, and the youngest bench in basketball), and w/a 7 man rotation, KOBE led us to a 2nd straight title, most championship teams features a playoff roster that goes 9 deep, we only went 7 deep and still won, and during the years of his absolute peak, he was a great defender, no way WADE is better

  • @MIKESOWELL Duncan only beat Kobe during the playoffs once, Kobe beat Duncan in the playoffs 3 times, 2001 western conference finals, he destorys DUNCAN and ROBINSON, along with DEREK ANDERSON (who was an all league defender), even greg popovich said after the series, they had no answer for KOBE, and this was the series that he became the best in the league

  • @scorpionJB sorry for replying, your comment is quite old but:

    I. derek anderson didnt play vs the lakers in 2001

II. kobe was aganist antonio daniels, ferry and 39 y/o porter

III. robinson was very old and nowhere near his prime

  • @MIKESOWELL and this is what really seperates KOBE from the rest of the league during the last decade, 2008 olympic gold medal game against spain, in the 4th quarter w/5 minutes to go, spain cuts the lead to 2 points, after resuming play after a timeout, nobody on team usa wanted the rock, not lebron, not dwade, not chris paul, not carmelo, not deron williams, nobody.KOBE was the one who rose to the challenge, and knocked down 4 shots straights will making plays on defense to seal the gold.

  • @scorpionJB actually it was Kobe and Wade that sealed that win. Kobe did most of the work though.

  • @LUFUJ if kobe did most of the work, then he was responsible for closing the game out and sealing the gold medal........lollllllllllll......I watched that gold medal game 3am in the morning, spain cut that lead down to 2 points, coach K, called that rock, and for the next 3 minutes, nobody wanted the rock, wanted to be close to the rock except kobe, and then once the game was decided, everyone else played the role...lolllll

  • @fatkid187 Couldn't have said it any better!!

  • @fatkid187 but please think about what you said about kobe's 81 pt performance. sure, it was against toronto, but keep in mind the lakers were down by 18 in that game, and kobe's performance not only brought them back, but it also turned the game completely upside-down as it ended with a LAKER blowout win. Plus, it was 81 POINTS. No matter what era you're in, scoring that many is an EPIC milestone, so there's nothing wrong getting excited all over it. that said, MJ's the greatest

  • @sportygu123 with todays rules the players can barely play defense properly, now it's more about rules than skill or strategy, modern great players are illusions created by a weakened field of play who whine over everything like spoiled brats.

  • @jaredrl06 but still, no matter what rules are present, scoring 81 points will always be an incredible feat. plus, it's not like most of kobe's 81 points were from FTs.

  • @sportygu123 Incredible yes, but not as spectacular when put in perspective. Raps had the worst defense in the league that year. They could barely dress 10 players because they also had the most injuries. They had the most number of 10 day contracts. Coaching staff also instructed the players to lay off Kobe and concentrate on his teammates instead. Add to that the lax perimeter defensive rules of today, and that 81 isn't as mind blowing as it's made out to be.

  • i fuckin loe watching games from 80's and 90's, Jordan, Magic and Bird aside, there was just more heart back then, all the players gave 100% and there was a ton of good players, the refs didn't control the games as much and nobody was trying to branch out and be "famous" they all loved basketball, and that is why i think basketball isn't as exciting or as enjoyable as it use to be.

  • yeah that's true! i watch basketball tv from 80's and 90's game its so different the defense is tight, they not letting easy basket. Defense today is like an amatuer rule defense.. you cant see defense..

  • yeah pretty much true. to me the biggest difference is that today's players don't really understand team play and passing, nor do they know how to shoot a mid-range shot.

not many people remember it, but most of MJ's points came on mid-range jumpers, not layups or dunks....

  • REVENGE is a MUST. i remember this

  • was there one game without rodman having a little fight?

  • Dude, at this stage, Penny was much better than a Kobe at that age...so Mike and the Bulls would've easily taken the 2001-2003 Lakers

  • Uhhh, not really. By the time Kobe was 24, he was averaging 30ppg/7rpg/6apg and was 1st Team All-NBA and 1st All-D team. Penny's stats aren't close at age 24.

Shaq was much better from 2000-2003 than he was with Orlando too. There's no comparison between the 3-peat Lakers and these Magic.

  • Dude, you have to understand, this was Penny's 3rd year in the NBA and he took them with Shaq to the NBA Finals. Althought Kobe was effective in his third year, he wasn't the game changer Penny was. Penny took them to the ECF and led them with Shaq to 60-22 Season.

  • You said age, not years of experience.

  • You're right, my fault. I mis-spoke there.

  • you cant say that cuz penny and kobe game is way different

  • @zodiiak Shaq + supporting cast was better on 2001-2003 Lakers. These Bulls were great though (Rodman and Pippen perhaps best defenders at their positions ever and Pippen was perhaps ideal 2nd option in a Jordan-lead offense). The real question is, how is Phil Jackson going to coach both teams?

  • @UnLocke1 Quantum mechanics, bitch!

  • @zodiiak Penny was much better than a Kobe at that age-BULLSHIT!

  • shaqs last game with magic

  • PS anyone who says the Rockets might have taken Chitown back then...go back and watch those reg season gms vs the bulls and the rockets playoff gms how they lost to seattle badly and then watch the barkley years after they added him...and i will tell you..GTFOutta here because there is no comparison to them as a dominating force towards chicago no mj 94 95 nothing to be said but if he was they would have beat the rockets hands down in a 7 gm series sorry hate me all you want IDC im Playayuhatin4

  • BULLS=SUPREME DOMINANCE

    MJ=GOAT....PS never gonna be another

Pippen=Greatest Role Player ever/Sidekick even tho HE was team Captain after MJ left and then came back and remained team Captain

Rodman=Greatest Rebounder/Hell of a NBA character...Dennis brought his own originality and thank him for doing his own thing to bring the nba to a new level of entertainment

  • man 1996 what a year for the bulls then what a year for gator football as well!!!!!!!!

  • Prime.

  • i remember that year, everyone was telling me orlando was gonna take over the east. i remember in that game my cousin was getting pissed cause everytime jordan shot i said good and he was drillin um. THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME BULLS #23 MICHAEL JORDAN. dont know who that guy that wore 45 for the wizards was

  • No smartassing but MJ didn't wear 45 as a Wiz :)

  • I didn't know there was a guy wearing 45 for the Wizards.

  • 2:56 pippen got penny on his stomach

    Jordan = GOAT

  • wat a monster

  • mj killed shaq!!!!!

he is the one!!!! the goat

  • This is another example of Why Jordan is the best. He just beats EVERYBODY! He came back from a short season and gave this young Orlando a nice PAYBACK. Kobe still can't claim that he beat the WHO's who of basketball. But Kobe is good tho.

  • Jordan is the best player ever, the Bulls beat down the Magic...No excuses.

  • in 1995 the year jordan came back he only played 17 games u idiot! he came back at the end of the season the team never got into a groove...the year afterin 1996 they won 72 games and won the championship easy!! they wouldve wiped the floor with hakeem and the rockets!

  • 17 games is enough to get into shape but its not enough for a team to build chemistry togther idiot! it was the same exact team that won 72 games the next year so it obvious they needed time to play with each other

  • watever

  • from 1990-1998 the Bulls and Rockets played 18 times and they record was an even 9-9 against each other...so the bulls didnt have a tough time with them, and we all kno jordan and the bulls were a different team in the playoffs so if thy would of played each other in the finals the bulss wouldve won

  • u cant say a team wouldve won NO1 knows what wouldve happened thats why u play the game jus like everybody knew the lakers team that had shaq, kobe, karl malone and gary payton were going to beat the pistons in the finals in 2004 and what happened there? o yea the pistons kicked their asses 4-1

so u sound dumb sayin the bulls wouldve won its no way to kno who wouldve won from the facts and what JORDAN himself said, im VERY confident Houston wouldve won

  • since u like lookin up stats look up the article with jordans admission that the Rockets jus had their number..

also Jordan NEVER played a great-in-their-prime Center in the finals..

Jordan only played PF barkley, malone, drexler(2 guard) shawn kemp magic johnson.. jordan NEVER had to face a DOMINATE center the likes of Hakeem

  • Kind of hard if the Rockets never make the Finals the years the Bulls did. Besides Jordan faced Patrick Ewing in 4/6 championship years. He played vs Shaq and Mourning. They aren't as good as Hakeem was, but they weren't exactly slouches either. And I contest that if he was so dominate, he would have made it to the finals more than in just 94/95 and won in 1986 as well vs Bird's Celtics.

  • And are you trying to downplay players such as Barkley, malone, drexler, and Magic? Just because someone isn't a center, doesn't mean they can't dominate. I mean, take Michael Jordan for example? You're also forgetting Patrick Ewing (and shaq for that matter). Also the Bulls faced some pretty harsh competition in the East. In fact I would say that in 91-93, the ECF was more difficult for the Bulls than the Finals. The Pistons, Cavs, Knicks were better teams than the Lakers, Blazers, Suns.

  • also saying that everyone knows the bulls wouldve won is like every1 sayin that kobe is better than jordan, thats talkin out ur ass to make a comment like that cux its NO way to kno!!

  • hobe isnt even the best laker so he's def not better than Jordan. You said Jordan never faced a center in his prime in the finals but he faced Ewing on his way to the finals. I liked Hakeem and think he doesnt get the credit he deserves for what he did

  • There is Jordan, and there's the rest of us - by Magic Johnson

  • i stopped watchin the nba when jordan left... i miss this guy so much like i miss knightrider ha. those were the days. itll never be the same again. it will never be jordantime again.

  • you stopped watching the nba because you followed an ICON - you are not fan of the game and you doen't feel anything for the game, you just followed an ICON - that was Jordan. Now the NBA is trying convert LBJames to become an Icon.

  • this Magic team would crush 09 Magic team like nothing. this 33 year old Jordan would humiliate 30 year old kobe anytime he wants to. 90's the golden era.

  • The way the 96 Bulls swept this stacked Orlando team proves the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s were the greatest team ever, much better than kobe n shaqs lakers. Although their players outside of jordan and pippen dont look as good on paper as those lakers team, the bulls played amazing defense, ball movement, and intensity would have been too much for LA. They way the bulls utilized every player on their team made them what they were

  • this is the year AFTER my Rockets swept the Magic in the FINALS first, the same year the Magic beat Jordan and the Bulls, orlando were damaged goods by the time Jordan got his revenge and swept them the next year.. i wouldve loved to see Hakeem smash Jordan in the Finals!

  • U idiot. Hakeem won the Final when Jordan retired for playing baseball. IF Jordan did not retire, Hakeem would have smashed TWICE instead of winning CHAMP

  • u just made my case for me dumbass youre stupid duh Hakeem wouldve smashed TWICE (as ur dumbass put it) like he already did... u obviously know shit about NBA past cuz Jordan returned in 1995 and lost to this EXACT same Magic team and Shaq made it to the Finals to play my Rockets broke out the brooms and swept their ass.. then jordan the NEXT year (1996 since u dont know) got revenge and swept a damaged team that Hakeem Houston demoralized.. get ur facts strait b4 u talk out ya ass ya retard

  • hakeem didnt win nothing before jordan retired and he didnt win nothing when jordan came back from baseball its as simple as that!

  • wat?! ur dumb Hakeem won the year Jordan came back and they got their ASSES handed to them by Shaq and the Magic get ur facets rite

  • yeah...they lost...but only because Jordan played merely 20 games of the 82 games season...the Bulls were a shell of the champions two years earlier...they were only .500 when Jordan returned. He took them to the second round that year...a year they shouldn't have even made the playoffs. Oh, and after not playing for a year and a half, he averaged 31 points against the Magic.

  • lets me break out the violin for ur bitch ass.. ok continue with ur whinin ass excuses as to why jordan lost when he came back, ur obviously a bulls dick rider dont give me that sorry ass excuse that Jordan was 'rusty' cuz his 4 or 5 game or somethin like that Jordan scored 55 points at madison square garden.. if a person drops that many points hes not rusty nor was the team 'a shell of their former self' that was the same team pipen took 2 the playofs by hiself the year before get ur facts rite

  • JORDAN IS THE BEST EVER PERIOD.

  • opening night of the 95/96 season....PENNY scores like 36 points to JORDAN'S 25-26 points...ORLANDO wins...the media and even basketball analysts anoint PENNY as the best player in the league...I was like, don't fall for the okie doke...96 east finals..many picked ORLANDO to win, I said the BULLS would sweep...wins game 1 by 40, Horace Grant pulls up lame in game 2, Brian Shaw called sick before game 3, and it was a wash, another 3peat in the wakes..JORDAN reastablishes his status as #1..lol

  • best series ever in my mind

  • SUPERMAN, BATMAN AND RODMAN

  • 2:35 Rodman is the man

  • Jordan bitchsmacked Orlando this entire series, and Orlando was GOOD! This 96' Bulls team was the best ever

  • LOL!!!!! 2:34...i used to HAAATE rodman with the pistons...but it was good to have 'em on our side and see him do it against the opposing team.

this iteration of the bulls team would totally annihilate any one of those shaq/kobe laker team!

  • penny could have been one of the best without an injury

  • what a beatiful flying motion there at 2:51

  • Not to mention Penny ducking lol!

  • Clear foul by Pip... Jordan would've dunked anyways, but that's a foul...

  • History does not lie, and there has never been an exception. A "superstar" has a shelf life of 10-12 years in the NBA. DOES NOT MATTER if one commences at 18 years old or 22 years old. If your body DEVELOPS faster, it BURNS OUT sooner. Remember Shawn Kemp...the "man child". He was FINISHED at 30 years old. James will stay in better shape so chances are he will last longer, but there is no getting around it. Throw in a major injury and things really speed up...See Grant Hill, Gilbert Arenas.

  • Can't wait to see James get owned all over the floor when HE'S 33 years old. Clock's running Lebron. Better start winning rings.

  • Yeah...People will start to say that some punk kid is better than LeBron. (Ron Artest on Brandon Roy)

  • i think he will win a few before he is 33

  • why do you think he'd get owned at 33? If anything he'd still be probably on the decline of his prime but still one of the best

  • see how a team wins with grace? Watching the "defending champs" and their punk ass attitude this series vs. Chicago makes me appreciate those 90's Bulls even more. That was a Eastern Conference clinching game to go to the finals. Look at that class.

  • The only reason Orlando beat the Bulls the year before is because Jordan retired garaunteed had the Bulls still been intact they were not good enough to beat the Bulls.

  • mj is the reason malone, stockton, barkely, penny, kevin johnson, grant hill, patrick ewing, john starks, mutumbo, shawn kemp, payton, tim hardaway, chris mullin, reggie miller, derek harper, danny manning, chris webber, to name a few dont have rings!! jordan was not having it nobody could get any rings as long as he played but i tell u what paul pierce got a ring and kg, tim duncan got a couple of rings him ginobli and parker, if mj was playing no rings for nobody until i leave da game thank you i rest my case

  • payton has a ring.

  • amen. could not have said it better. People think is a game...this man will not allow you to eat even if you bought the food your self lol.

  • i wish people stop wit dis mj an kobe stuff man mj is da greatest ever kobe is good but lebron is on his ass when mj played there was nobody else runnin neck an neck wit him lebron is right there wit kobe when he start learning hw 2 close da game like kobe then people will be sayn lebron was better then kobe when mj played there was no other dat compared r was almost better now u had good players like hakeem, magic and malone 2 name a few but none could match mj dey dnt got rings bcuz of mj lol

  • rodman the only one who could guard shaq.

  • Good ol' days of NBA on NBC...

  • 16 for 22...Jordan was a murderer...cold-blooded fuckin killer...anyone who even dreams of thinking Kobe, Lebron, or Wade is even CLOSE to this man, better wake up from that dream and apologize for ever talking about or even touching a basketball...

  • MJ is God, but don't under stimate Kobe Bryant skill.

  • I'll be underestimating it all the way to his impending finals elimination/ choke.

  • anyone who suggest that those guys are in MJ's league just don't know shit about b-ball. for one thing, it completely discounts his defensive skills. but offensively, they aren't even close to him either

  • @darksiete wow. couldnt have said it better lol

  • @darksiete your so rightttttttttt
