nice. i've been trying to find some good videos to see what the gt-8 can do, but mainly for guitar. every demo i've seen on here has been dull and boring. i want to hear textures and otherworldly sounds going on, not re-hashed typical guitar solos and pre-amp settings.
mate that is frikn awome, seriously cool, so did you just connect your keyboard to the boss gt-8 then through an amp of some sort?? what do you actually play on the keyboard?
This is exactly how I treat my retro lofi gear. I put it through my professional equipment effects and I get very unique sounds scape from my vintage toy casio's and yamaha's. Inspiring work. Electronic Music Composer and Pianist ObeeLektro.
I think I gotta get myself a sustain pedal, it sounds awsome, when ever I play around with my guitar doing drone-type sounds I have to rely on cranking the feedback on the delay. Which can get kind of messy sounding, and is kind of limiting in how i can alter the sounds. That and I don't know all the tricks to working it yet.
I have the sustain pedal on reverse polarity so it holds the note. I am running the Casiotone through various effects on the GT8, and I suppose the underlying harmonics are triggering different reactions in the GT8, self-modulating the sound.

Nice, I was going to ask someone about stuff like this. And I guess Mungblasted has some experience.
Is it fine to run a keyboard through the gt-8? (I'm guessing that's what you're doing here)
Nice music room by the way

I assume it should do no damage. I've been using my Boss GT-8 with keyboards for quite some time now and nothing has gone wrong.
Maybe soon I'll post a song using the Casiodrones in a musical context.

That'd be cool to hear

The sustain pedal isnt being used on the the GT-8. it's being used on the Casiotone.

Wow! I'll try it with mine.

Fantastic! I have one of those things, and have long suspected that the guitar isn't really necessary in the equation... :)
