  • My good people, Codeiwt should not be blamed for a problem he did not create. He did not include the video of those women himself just to sell the video. This is the real video out there in the market. I have a copy of it, way back before Codewit uploaded this one. The producers actually thought that those sexy half naked ladies would sell the video since sex sells very easily. Believe it or not, those ladies are actually hot. Codewit more keep entertaining us. You are doing a GREAT service.

  • i love this vid.

  • WHOEVER told some of you Igbo women don;t dance like this is lieing to you.

Women should celebrate their femininity and stop being objects of control for men with low self esteem.

These women love their bodies and being female. They are sexy and lovely. After criticizing them, you go online and watch white female porn. HYPOCRITES!

  • I tried as much as i can to remove/shield their lewd act to the point of adding a disclaimer.

    LEWD ACTS?

    YOU IDIOT!

INCASE YOU ARE A CASTRATE, SEXY is a word seldom associated with Nigerian girls.

If I knew who the chic in blue stripes is, I would make her a BIG STAR.

IF you are going to be a chanel on this medium, you need to LEARN some DIPLOMACY and TACT of dealing with opinions you do like condone.

GROW THE FUCK UP, OR STOP POSTING Nigerian Videos here.

  • The chic on the left, begining of this video has got me mesmerized. HOT, HOT, HOT

  • benbella artist bigup orintal love ju songgg

  • this is pure naija

  • is only him JESUS bu onyeoma

  • My only problem with the dancing is that the same format seem to accompany every song. People, show some creativity!

  • Well you had better go and stop flamenco dancers from doing heel dancing and hand clapping in every song. This is the dance style that goes with this musical style.

If you watch "Western" pop videos, you will see a lot of the same moves repeated over and over, (and many of those have way more sexual connotation.)

  • am proud to be an igbo man.... tracks remind me of my grand papa...it takes me back to 80s when i was still a kid....the western culture has destroyed ours... we"ve been robed by the westerners and we trow away our tradition and culture

  • This is a good Igbo highlife music and never classed as Gospel even by the Artistes even though a it has a religious undertune. The dancing however is never Igbo in nature. It's a new trend that is predominant in this present generation where poverty has led people to do so many things for money. Those girls were paid less than $5 to do that and some people enjoy watching it. If u don't like it just close your eyes and enjoy d music, just like I did. 'Viewer discretion adviced' U lads saw it.

  • wat do u mean they were paid less than $5...u guys re so insultive....wat do u mean...poverty..

  • In fairness to Codewit, this is the original video as redone by the surviving members of oriental brothers. I believe they re Dansatch and Kabaka. But it is a terrible video. igbo women dont dance like this. this is neiother egwu ukwu nor anything close

  • is dat mi dream land hotel, world bank.

  • So people really think the dancing in this video is not vulgar and actually fits the spirit of the words of this track! Tell me why the author has placed a warning acknowledging that it may not be suitable for childrens viewing! Don't make me laugh. Oh so you'd go to church and worship the Lord with dance in this style. Hyopcrites!

  • dats ur culture dressing and dance...hey girl dont judge....huh........x

  • Nice song

  • goog memory song good songs oriental created paths for oriental musics

    don g 4real

  • this music is wonderful. Orriental is the pride of Igbo. Igbo Kwezeonu

  • who are you to judge those girls dancin, anyway it's all your head. Nice song

  • Are these dancing women from Cameroon or Congo? They don't fit in with this lovely music.

  • I agree whole heartedly...To me embracing this style of dancing degrades our beautiful Igbo heritage..captivted beautifully with this track...PLEASE LET US NOT FORGET OUR WORTH!!

  • this dancing style has been with the igbos for generations. stop insulting the camerounians and others, u stinking hypocrite.

  • faggot.

Enjoy the women, enjoy the music. Believe it or not women exist and they're nice to look at. Who care

    IGBO KNEWU

  • I am a woman so don't really know what you man by faggot!

  • guy i dig ur style, let this pussy know whats good. i love women, women makes life and more. fall far if u dont.

  • @Naijalok411 Well you could have left out your reference to a bunch of sticks, ( faggot is a word used by intolerant judgemental people such as those who burned people alive for being born homosexual) but I do agree with your main comment.

The beautiful people in this video would be more corrupted by Western Culture than vice versa.

The singers are humble, there are lots of gentle smiles, and the overall feeling is very positive and non violent. The lewdness is in the mind of the observer.

  • hildadee you sound like an illitrate! stop watching codewit great job! enemy of progress! go and set up your own hindous/hildadee.curse you too

  • I can't believe this guys are still very active.Quite up to date.

  • Ha! this song was always playing on the radio when i was a little boy....reminds me of and makes me miss home...I'm lovin' it. But this video contradicts the message of the song. Honestly i wish those ladies did do the dance... ruined the message of the song. This is probably the only gospel track on the entire Oriental Brother's Album. Sorry...

  • love this, but having a hard time trying to figure out if it is a christian music, cause i like to thnk of it like one, either way love it!!!!!

  • If you must accuse me of something, the least you can do is check your facts. I did NOT add those girls to the videos. I tried as much as i can to remove/shield their lewd act to the point of adding a disclaimer. If you have problem with the video, i suggest to take it up with the producer of the video.

  • please Codewit don't mind dem haters thanks for the songs

  • codewit, y did u even answer this person? abeg keep doing what u do jare. dont mind anybody. u doing a good job as far as am concerned. i dont see anything wrong with any of the videos u've posted. so ignore any unimporatant comment.

  • why do u really waste time to reply some people who just dont have anyother thing on their mind apart from pilitical correctness.igbo dancers have always been dressed like that and dance that way and we are confortable with it.there is nothing dirty or vulger about those girls and thanx for the music.even though i know it isn't original warrior and co but it's still good to listen to.where is kabaka and the rest now?i know sir warrior is dead.

  • not only does it look like those women beautiful as they may were taken advantage of ( to be free to do something like that)it is a perverse addition to the beautiful music and storytelling of the oriential brothers music ...so booo and shame to codewit for doing this terrible job....u have fallen prey to western mentality that sex has to be in everything........

  • hey, there is nothing wrong with this video if at all it is the quality not the raunchy dancing. Why is everybody so concern that a bunch of girls are wriggling their waist the African style. Biko ba kwa na ulo. Anyi achoghi nsogbu ebea. Codewit please post Akwa Uwa.

  • it is great that i an igbo babe can go on you tube, do a search and find my music online but it is terrible to see what i am seeing....CODEWIT you did a great GREAT disservice by splicing Oriential Brothers vintage clips and adding women who are obviously dancing mapouka style.....if you look well, u can tell the gyrating girls were edited into the video...and for what reason???

  • You honestly need another pair of glasses, optical lens or both to "see" what you think you're seeing.

  • there is something disturbing to see "not suitable for kids" when this video begins...because isn't oriental brothers music is loved, listened to and enjoyed by all...families listen to it together...so what is this nonesence?

  • Codewit, I cannot thank you enough. pls just a quick question. The image I know of Sir Warrior, i.e. the lead singer of this band group is quite different from what is showing in the video. Could it be in his early days or someone else replaying his music? Just for information, nothing else.

    Thank you.

  • my bros, warrior is dead.he has been for a while now.i think this is a remix.this is one of the very 1st of orientl brothers.reminds me so much of owerri and the good old days.

  • Thank you codewit pls can you post ZULE ZOO album: KREWA

  • the massage in the music is diametrically opposed to the the style of the dance the the style of the dresses. the dancers and their dresses have deprived the music its moral and spiritual content.

  • nobody is good exept GOD

  • Man, this is a very beautiful highlife tune. If you ask me i think the girls messed up the video, it would of been better.

    -Yaw Opoku-

  • Man, this is a very beautiful highlife tune. If you ask me i think the girls messed up the video, it would of been better.

  • Nice job! I miss home so much watching this.

    Thanks,

  • waaroom praat jij nu netherlands.dumb ass i ga na asu igo onye igbo ka ibu

  • I am Originally an Igbo man.

The song says that no one on earth is a good man since the only good man that was on earth ( Jesus Christ) only son of God was crucified by men. That singular act makes all man filty.

  • why cant my lovely people say thanks to codewit that made it possible for us to watch this music again, instead of these bickering abt the dancing girls..infact this shows that bootie dancing of today was all copied from us, thanks again codewit

  • Thank you my brother, That's why we have problem today. Just enjoy the music for what it is "High Life Music"

  • It would have bein more cultural without the hoes showing their asses off

  • no it wouldn't

  • why did u have to use the girls

  • because they look good.

  • Man When I here these song, I am boggled by the diversity of the Igbo Language. I have aunties and Uncles from the Wawa area (umere nne m bu Wawa) That cant even translate this song accuratley!?!?

  • Hmmm the video is quite suggestive being that its a song speaking about Jesus...

  • The song is not suggestive in anyway. And it doesnt have much to do with Jesus as it is more instructive that there no perfect person.

  • Dat we alles op internet kunnen luisteren betekent niet dat wij niet naar onze land terug moet. Het is belangrijk dat we een keer paar jaar naar Nigeria moet

  • Please write in English. You might have a good point but many of us are not understanding you. Thanks.

  • Like you lent English, I think if you learn Igbo you would understand what they are writing.

People Like you will stop at nothing until our unique and beautiful language becomes one of those forgotten languages or become extinct.

    Igbo-ever Igbo-kwuenu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sorry about your linguistic challenges, but this is authentic Igbo music, singing it in english will destroy the joy, flavour and meaning of the music. You have to be an Igboman or a Nigerian to appreciate the true meaning of the song, meanwhile, you can always nod your head to the tune and beat of the song.

  • yah ... i like the song even though i can't speak igbo language,,,,,one does not need to understand the meaning of a song before u could enjoy the song....good music is a food for the soul not necessarily for the meaning

  • CHEI, CHINEKE!

I Have been looking for this one for ages..

My father used to plat it back in the early 80's

this music just kept playing in my head!!

thank you! Dalu! Bedankt! You've made my day!!

  • i really luv this song..and the message is good, but i dont understand why the girls are dressed like that and dancing like that...espeacially if the song has a gospel message..i guess thats just me

  • I myself dont understand everything as I am not from Mbaise but I tries to explain what I know. I hope that helps

  • one of my best track, thanks a lot Codewit abiarulam ala Owerri

  • Being from owerri, i love these songs and that one in particular.

  • Onye shi ya wu onye oma, Onye shi ya ka cha mma Jisus Lee Nwa Chineke i wu onye oma ma Mmadu ikere eke a kpogbuola gi n'obe. (Who says he is a good person, who says he is the most righteous? Jisus son of God you are the only righteous one but the human beings you have created have crucified you.

  • This has to be one of my favourite songs... I do not understand the words but the music speaks to my soul. If someone can translate I would be greatful.

  • one of the casualites of being brought up in the west is that I was not forced to learn igbo. Most of my agemates and younger are the same. In the meantime our yoruba counterparts are almost fluent in their language

  • I know how you feel as I myself was also born in the west bur RAISED in Nigeria but dont worry if you want to learn you can learn.
