if you take time and analyze the mark3.1, you should notice that it's supported on a beam above him, that's why celteen doesn't hover to show the rest of him, while as on mark 4 he hovers and show's all of it.

besides, on LBP, anything that has legs instead of wheels is impossible to be THAT stable...

celteen, the mark 4 is an amazing job.

but the mark 3.1... gimme a break.

lets see, the mark 3 which is over a year old now was made to be a chase model, kinda like the skull doser, there were no options at that time to hide pisons etc so I was limited on how I could hide things, never was intended to fool anyone was there as not to break the experience, which ultimately I ditched to work a pilotable one... so gemme a break lol

sorry i meant that i liked your mk 4. also i prefer the mk 4 having some walk bounce because it looks more realistic. I mean, how many things that walk on two legs have thier heads kept at a constant distance from the ground.

are you sure your not using an invisible piston because sometimes the legs look like they are sliding along the floor and reducing the walk bounce is next to imposible. anyway i'm a big fan and i love the mk 3.1. do you think you can put any of your models as a prize in your levels.

The 4.0 model looks like it's coming along very nicely, and it looks pretty epic once it's in full stride.

I dont think that highly of the 3.0 model though, the body seems a bit [too] stable, and I couldn't see the top. I've got the nerve to say it might be a puppet, except after seeing the 4.0 model run so nicely... :/

Either Way, I can't wait to play your levels, or at least get a play with your REX Models. Im still perfecting my own walking creations... mostly the walk-cycles

Wow. that's really sweet looking. Very fast, especially for a walker. Although its supported externally, still looks great.

If you wanna check out my mech walker on, the level is called "Walker Takedown." The four-legged mecha uses no external rods pistons strings or whatever to keep it upright. It's a boss battle. I use sensors & limited processors to keep the robot level and on its feet. Not nearly as fast as thss Rex though LOL.

Cool. I'm working on a walking mech for my level, to chase the players, here's hoping I can get the walking mechanics working anywhere near as smoothly as yours.

I kind of prefered the walking of the first one, though. While it may have bounced a bit much, a little bit of bouncing adds realism to it. The second one, though it probably isn't, looks like it's on a track. Can't wait to see how you use it, though.
