  • Bull Mastiffs Are the best dogs ever!!One time there were six 4 yr old chilren in my back yard and there was another animal trying to dig into my back yard so he gently picked it up in his mouth without killing it and remove from our yard.

  • @happycburger2 if your going to give people advice i suggest you do your research bullmastiffs were NOT breed for fighting they were breed as a game keepers dog and they were breed to be predictable so they held the poachers rather than mauled them like the bulldog would. it is ignorence like yours that gives the breed a bad name.while i agree they can be dominant as long as they are trained an shown who is boss from a puppy they are the most loyal an caring dog you could ask for

  • Can this breed be trusted if you leave them allone at home for a half day?

  • @MijnWet If they are fully grown and fully trained then yes, but not if they are a puppy. From 3-10 months old my bullmastiff couldn't be left alone at home because she would chew up the furniture. Until your bullmastiff is fully trained and grown out of the teething stage you should lock it in a part of your house without too much furniture and plenty of water, food, and toys. One day when I left my bullmastiff in my room without toys he chewed a 3 foot by 3 foot (1 by 1 meter) hole in my wall.

  • Look how gental this giant is! This is why we are adding one ot are family of 4 small dogs and 5 tall humans lol

  • Hei.

  • daddy, i want o play with the doll too heheheheheh

    your dog is beautiful

  • That is one gorgeous dog, and the baby is CUTE!!

  • Too cute. Thanks for posting!

  • he is a sweetie we have a bullmastiff and he will get between us and the danger when he thinks there is something wrong, they are just that way, sweet as heck, he won't show his teeth or nothing just saying this is mine and i will protect it your son couldnt have a better babysitter, they will love each other for a long time,

  • Today, 3 bullmastifs killed their owner in my city (Ljubljana, Slovenia). So sad.

  • That's the biggest BS I've ever read!

  • Oh my goodness, if that isn't the cutest baby I've ever seen in my whole life..Big eyes and chubby cheeks :D Teehee. 0:50-0:57 is funny :)

  • are you crazy? that dog can probably eat your baby!

  • If I remember correctly, you also posted a vide of the baby taking the bullys ball. Well I guess it's payback time :-)

  • lmao the dogs like wth man, this kids flappin it in my face lolz

  • such a cute doggiee..oh and the baby too.. :)

  • hvor har i kødt ham? hvormaget har i givet for ham? og kenner i nogle gode bullmastiff aveler? "undskyl vis nåde er stavet forkert men jeg er ord-blin"

  • I used to accuse my bullmastiff of being lazy but when we moved in to our new home and had contractors and tons of people in and out, they noticed how she ALWAYS got in between them and her family. No aggression, still friendly, but never let the helpers near the kids once.

  • this is too cute...we had a bullmastiff...he passed away last year. but if we had kids, we would be doing the same thing.../..he was a gentle giant!!!!!

  • ok, this video is just.... TOO CUTE!!

  • hahaha the dog puts his paw on the toy and the baby is like... WTF DOG!

  • i have a westie how stands by me

i would say their amazing with kids

    best breed

  • ops I was replaying to an old post.

I had a bullmastiff that when he tought my daughter was in danger he put himself in the middle barking to the other dog.

He used to sit aside my daughter as a baby sit.

    Best breed in the world.

  • Oh yes, they are perfect protectors: Another dog ran to my sons baby stroller about a year ago and before we even turned our heads, Ludvig (our dog) positioned himself between our son and the other dog - heavily showing that the other dog should better back off. Nothing happened, no barking or growling - Ludvig just showed, without any doubt, that the child was under his care and that any 'evil intruder' should deal with him first. The other dog peacefully walked away.

  • its in their blood, natural guard dogs. Idena is the most alert of my three. And she routinley makes rounds throughout the house. Looks out a window, turns her head left, center, right. Then goes to the next window and does the same thing.

  • @Pythoneer

    I love happy endings!

  • @Pythoneer will a bullmastiff be trusted with children. youll prolly say yes but i hear otherwise. i also want it to not turn against me in any situation

  • @BZhubb808 No dog can be completely trusted with children. Dogs are different and kids are different. Raising the dog is also different from person to person.

  • @Pythoneer can you help me? i've looked up on some sites that bullmastiffs are very dominant and i don't exactly like very domineering breeds like the rottweiler for example, i really like the bullmastiff though so since you have one can you tell me how domineering this breed is??????

  • @bigBrude41 Bullmastiffs are not nearly as predictable as other dogs. They were breed to be large fighting dogs and through that breeding process these dogs can be very skittish and nervous. This can also cause them to be agressive if you don't train them right. Bullmastiffs are also very smart and think about dominance a lot. E.G. if you were to let your dog sit on the couch as you it would consider you equals, and someone smaller than you as beneath them....

  • @bigBrude41 ...In the end as long as you let the dog know that it is not a person (don't let it sleep on your bed, don't let it on the couch, etc.) you should be fine.

  • @BZhubb808 No dog - regardless of breed - should ever be left alone with any child at any time under any circumstances!!! That being said, Bullmastiffs are known for their affinity for children, but this is no guarantee! However, the chances of your Bullmastiff being good with children increases dramatically if he is extensively socialized with children between 8 and 16 weeks of age.

  • @BZhubb808 No dog is 100% predictable however the breed's tendencies are to protect and be loyal to it's family. If the dog views the child as a member of it's pack there typically aren't any problems.

  • OH NO!!! HE'S GONNA EAT THE BABIES HEAD..run for cover.......

    lol joking

I have three pitbulls (APBTs) and they are all the same way with kids. You should see the kids feeding them out of the bowls..its hilarious. They look at them like, hey....uhmm....but.....uhm...thats my bowl. lol.

    CUTE

  • Wow really a gentle giant!

You really raised him well, you can see you're the boss!

  • Aww give that poor dog a toy n get that kid to stop teasing him!

  • hahaha i just can't get over watching these dogs i can't! Mines 4 months now! Just looking at some mature ones in anticipation!

  • No dog can resist a stuffy toy.

  • pretty funny seeing the size comparison of the child and mastiff lol.

  • magnifique !!!!

  • bullmastiffs are actually the most gentle of all dogs...and they're so handsome!

  • If they are raised right they are gentle. But they can be quite mean. All the Bull's I know are big babies. But where my friend used to live their neighbor treated his Bull like shit and he was a MEAN dog. Luckily he was rescued, and last I heard is doing quite well. He is with a retired K-9 officer.

  • these dogs are soft as s*it, i have one my self and they are brilliant dogs, dont get me wrong if they wanna do damage they can and alot of it but if you dont come on there land or if you attack there owner's then they will not do nothin at all to harm any1

    write me back

  • I love these dogs! They are very gentle.

  • My Daschund is kept away from kids, he's mean and can bite. My bullmastiff is just like this one and in no way would harm a child. PERIOD. I was not nervous in the least. These are the best, smartest, most gentle animals I have ever come across. When my son fell down she pulled a Lasie and came and got me, barking, etc., until we ran outside and found him. She LOVES children. I would trust her to almost BABYSIT.

  • i know all you people are saying this breed of dog is good and trustworthy, but lets face it you can never be 100% sure about any animal. i was actually nervous for the baby in this video, what would have happened if the dog had suddenly turned on the child? it was obvious the dog wanted the toy and if he had attacked then the baby would have stood no chance. im a dog lover yes but i would never ever leave a baby with a dog like that, friendly or not.

  • Under good ownership a dog would not attack since they view you as a leader.

They only attack when given order, or when extremely provoked.

If you watch the dog whisperer, you could see him teaching dogs not to attack BUNNIES, let alone a baby.

  • wow cool :D Bullmastiff is ne geile Rasse und das Das mit Kampfhuhn is schwachsinn !! ^^

  • frightning?!!? that doesnt look at all frightning... he a big-o-softeee.

  • your dog AND baby are sooo cute. hahah this is just adorable.

  • at 2:08 to the end the dog is like thats not my kid

  • i agree that the dog is mans best friend but to a baby there like bff

  • You're an idiot, that dog would rather kill himself than hurt that baby. He is his alpha male's son, and as such, it's his brother. He wouldn't do that, and to think that it could even happen is ridiculous.

  • no i mean to a baby he is bff = best friend for ever god learn to read

  • That's pretty funny. You cannot write a complete sentence, but I need to learn to read? Learn to write English more like it. Good day to you.

  • great.... pretty !

  • aww cute dog and baby.

  • Really looking forward to getting my bullie in a couple months....this video didn't help! Adorable!!! (Both of them)

  • i have an 18 month old bullmastiff and a 7 month old son and snoop (dog not son) is 100% trustworthy. he looks out for our son already. amazing breed.

  • Have owned four in the past, lost our last big fella over a year ago and still miss him dearly. Will no doubt have another one in the future, they are a fantastic breed.

  • OMG THIS IS THE BEST BABY-DOG Video Ive ever seeeeeeeeen...........5 Stars :D

  • its just beacuse that its the cutest baby ever, and hes doing that little swim dance.

  • Bullies Rule!!

  • Would be better if you have given your dog a treat. Dogs just like kids, easy to get jealous.

  • BullMastifs are the Best Dogs ever They are So Harmles and So so Cute i have one myself to or my dad :P I mean Once we did go to the PetDocter and he evenHurted murphy But after that murphy stil was Whiping his Tail there so Cute and we Have 2 Chiuhuaua's that live with him They can play so loveley here is an Example /watch?v=LWE-0f9zk08 of my Dogs Murphy Tinus and Gijsje xD They are so cute Just like this One :D

  • I'll give 1,000,000 dollars to the person who can get past that Bullmastiff to harm that child.

I loves Bullmastiffs. They are the best.

  • I understand your point. Our dog immediately stands in between if another dog is too fond of our child. He just jumps in front of Emil (our son) to protect him - not being aggressive though he might be if the 'threat' continues.

  • what a beautiful bully. I have two as well they really are the gentlest most loving and loyal breed around. i couldn't be without my two.

I have pict of me doing exactly the same thing as your kid is doing here !!!

Bullmastiff are by faaaaar my favorite now !

    Thanks

  • I like your dog more than that thing laying on the ground.

  • Well, they fart and burp equally... ;-)

  • Your bullmastiff is beautiful and so sweet! (And of course, your son!). I have a bully that's 1.5yrs old and he's just as gentle w/ little people and little dogs. They're a great breed.

  • Oh thats so cute, and well behaved, most dogs would have just grabbed the toy and bolted ;)

i have a bullmastiff bitch and she is the same around my neice and nephew!

highly recommended to all if your thinking of getting a bullmastiff!

  • That was the cutest thing when he grabbed the toy with his paw. Sooooo cute!

  • My bullmastiff is 18 weeks old and from the start loved my niece/nephew's, and other friends young kids, he's now half way through his firtst training class where he's the top dog of the class.

  • great vid. love bullies, best dogs in the world

  • You have a nice family! I wish I can have one. How old is your pooch?

  • Thanks! The dog is around 18 months on the video. He is 20 months now and weighs 70 kg. We all love him!

  • what;s his name? i'd call him killer.

  • His name is "Ludvig".

  • OMG how precious. We have a bullmastiff too and he also loves the kids toys. The are the best, most gentle dogs!

  • mastiffs have a kind temperment

we have two and they are always good with younger kids

  • Thanks to you all and especially preo2. We have often talked about the body language of our bullmastiff - he is extremely easy to read. His face is so full of expressions, his many wrinkles and big eyes are such storytellers. We can easily tell if he shouldn't be in near vicinity of our son which happens when he is a bit too worked up and wants to play. They are simply great together.

Again, thanks for the nice comments!

  • Yeh, I own a Bullmastiff two; Three year old 140 pound tub of flabby skin and mush. All he does is eat, get pet and barely listens; Which is our fault because we.. well, only taught him to sit and speak. But he's much like a human, tells you if he's pissed or happy or something's up.

  • Kudos to you! I'm a dog trainer and i can tell just by your dog's body language that your baby is not in any danger what so ever! Great job!

  • i love the babies face reaction

  • i just wana hug your dog!

  • we have a i year old brindle. and he is the best with kids too...

  • That is absolutely adorable. Love the baby's look when the pup is told he can't have the toy. It makes me wish I could go get my Bullmastiff a baby to have as a friend. :o)Great clip!

  • Bullmastiffs are one of the few large breed dogs that are safe around children, I hope to get my own, maybe this year

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • very goood !!! pretty baby ! pretty bull ! thanks for the excellent video !

  • Wonderful! We have a bullmastiff too, and she's every bit as gentle and good. The baby's sooo cute as well!
