I like the monster truck so much that I build a model of it, well honesty I built 2 models of it. I just down right like that monster truck and did sense the first time I seen the film way back in the early 1990's. But I did find out that the cab is no longer around. The monster truck that goes by Super Pete is the original Vengeance frame what is left of it. They built 2 trucks for this movie. And there is scenes that did not make it in the film either.
its a big block chevy engie, and the last person who made a coment i gotta say one thing to you .....those are big words you have there [rolling shit] don't like go watch dora.... kids movie .........looser......
REMAKR THIS FILM!!! The script was bad, not enough monster truck action, and it needs to be longer. I own this movie and think it's awesome but they need to remake this movie. Who agrees with me?
@tha707bra Not really sure how it could look any meaner , Pretty sure if this thing was chasing you it would be a different story becasue you would be shitting yourself
I worked on this film. It was filmed in and near Toronto in the fall of 1986. I painted some of the sets, did some scenic painting and did several cartoon portraits of Ned Beatty. I haven't seen this movie as it was never released. Straight to video, perhaps
@johnzejtun1993 I never saw the movie even though I worked on it. That was in November of '86. I did caricatures of Ned Beatty and painted some of the sets. I would love to check this movie out but can't find it anywhere!
Yeah I thought it could be destroyer 1 as that was really the only cabover monstertruck around in the 80s, although destroyer 1 was around a few years before this film mas made. Wouldn't mind seeing this film again! Can't find it anywhere!

Nice one Andy!
Used to have this on video. Any idea what monster truck was used for the film? Or was the truck especially built for the film?
tab1976 3 years ago
I believe the truck went on to become Destroyer 1, which was used for a number of years on the monster truck circuit.

I'm pretty sure the truck used in the film was built and driven by Mike Welch, and was later modified to become Super Pete.
