  • WAT THE...

  • I like the monster truck so much that I build a model of it, well honesty I built 2 models of it. I just down right like that monster truck and did sense the first time I seen the film way back in the early 1990's. But I did find out that the cab is no longer around. The monster truck that goes by Super Pete is the original Vengeance frame what is left of it. They built 2 trucks for this movie. And there is scenes that did not make it in the film either.

  • theres an ass load of monster truck action from what i understand....

  • its huge load and has flaming exuasts wats not to love

  • I worked on this film. It was filmed in and near Toronto in the fall of 1986. I painted some of the sets, did some scenic painting and did several cartoon portraits of Ned Beatty. I haven't seen this movie as it was never released. Straight to video, perhaps

  • @thcia I can confirm it was released on video as I have it? Any chance you know something about the soundtrack ? Thanks

  • @johnzejtun1993 I never saw the movie even though I worked on it. That was in November of '86. I did caricatures of Ned Beatty and painted some of the sets. I would love to check this movie out but can't find it anywhere!

  • Hey, think you could post the building sequence?

  • WOOT! Hell yeah! This is awesome, THANKS!

  • Nice one Andy!

Used to have this on video. Any idea what monster truck was used for the film? Or was the truck especially built for the film?

  • I believe the truck went on to become Destroyer 1, which was used for a number of years on the monster truck circuit.

  • Yeah I thought it could be destroyer 1 as that was really the only cabover monstertruck around in the 80s, although destroyer 1 was around a few years before this film mas made. Wouldn't mind seeing this film again! Can't find it anywhere!

  • I'm pretty sure the truck used in the film was built and driven by Mike Welch, and was later modified to become Super Pete.
