Its always hilarious to me that meat eaters argue the fact that animals are carnivorous and therefore humans are just part of "the circle of life" when they eat meat. This brings about an interesting issue, because the animals that most humans choose to eat (chicken, cow, lamb etc) are in fact VEGETARIAN themselves. Another animal close to the human is the monkey..... also a VEGETARIAN. A monkey lives in the jungle unlike humans so wouldnt warrant more "reason" to eat flesh for survival?
Furthermore, the fact that all these people who claim its only natural for humans to eat the flesh of animals is seriously ironic given they are eating VEGETARIAN animals. Therefore mankind is specifically targeting non violent animals for consumption. You really think a cow can defend itself from being slaughtered? They are peaceful creatures, as are chickens and lamb. I would love to see a meat eater make these claims while actually living in the wild and being the hunted.

Plants dont have brains or central nervous systems with which to feel physical pain. This is my view on killing animals: It is like cannibalism for humans since we can easily get other sources of protein and other nutrients without having to put some other animal through pain. If we can avoid this unlike our predator brothers and sisters I say why not? I would not try to hold people who eat meat in guilt though and it is of course up to the individual to decide.
Animals kill animals all the time. After all, there is no death right? It's all the circle of life. The first ten minutes of The Lion King explains this perfectly.

We eat grains,fruits,vegetables. We dont kill plants. These foods tht we eat are ripe and are shed by the plants,so technically we aint killing the plant. The same apple or mango tree can give u fruits for years,they get ripe and fall to the groung,that holds for fruits and veggies. food grains,after giving seeds like wheat or rice,the plants wither because they have completed their life cycle.We harvest those seeds and grains. So,no plant is really killed.

I LOVE Animals but I also like Humans. I love the nature- and the nature of humans says "EAT MEAT!" thats why our tooth and stomache are build like that. If you buy food at supermarket you´ll eat a lot of trash and unhealthy stuff, same for meat.But there are still peasants and organic farmer and other places where the animals grow up well.You see, thats just another problem but because of that its not bad to eat meat generally.

For me eating meat is a matter of health, My ancestry is one where we lived in cold weather not in an area with an all year growing season, depending on the hunt. My blood, O+, is adapted towards being healthiest with eating meat. All the people I know with O blood who became vegetarian turned into string~beans, including myself. I honor the animals I eat. @brickflowtube OSHO pauses a LOT. if you dont have a long or practiced attention span, its easy to lose him, drift then float back to a totally different point. although, you must have seen SOME consistency otherwise you couldn't have generalized him as a "free-thinker." Reading his books (which are bestselling and remarkable) makes the flow a lot easier, then you can go at your own pace.

Its always hilarious to me that meat eaters argue the fact that animals are carnivorous and therefore humans are just part of "the circle of life" when they eat meat. This brings about an interesting issue, because the animals that most humans choose to eat (chicken, cow, lamb etc) are in fact VEGETARIAN themselves. Another animal close to the human is the monkey..... also a VEGETARIAN. A monkey lives in the jungle unlike humans so wouldnt warrant more "reason" to eat flesh for survival?

Plants dont have brains or central nervous systems with which to feel physical pain. This is my view on killing animals: It is like cannibalism for humans since we can easily get other sources of protein and other nutrients without having to put some other animal through pain. If we can avoid this unlike our predator brothers and sisters I say why not? I would not try to hold people who eat meat in guilt though and it is of course up to the individual to decide.

We eat grains,fruits,vegetables. We dont kill plants. These foods tht we eat are ripe and are shed by the plants,so technically we aint killing the plant. The same apple or mango tree can give u fruits for years,they get ripe and fall to the groung,that holds for fruits and veggies. food grains,after giving seeds like wheat or rice,the plants wither because they have completed their life cycle.We harvest those seeds and grains. I LOVE Animals but I also like Humans. I love the nature- and the nature of humans says "EAT MEAT!" thats why our tooth and stomache are build like that. Meat have a lot of important ingredients for us. I wouldnt eat any animal whats close to humans with the DNA or any predator...but cows, goats, chickens...thats all right. Alright but again you have not answered where you draw the line on what is to eat by genetics, for eg bananas are claimed to have between 40-50% similar DNA (Pigs/Dogs range in the 80+% bracket), So immediately i'm skeptic of such a fundamental test of what is right & wrong to eat by DNA, you already have added to why you don't eat pig (it upsets your stomach) which i suspect is the main reasoning, not pseudoscience

That does really depend on your view, if you think it is wrong to abuse or torture animals for reasons of pleasure/sadism etc then automatically consumption & slaughter of animals falls within those ethical boundaries. @TheTvrulesthenation You can be against slaughter but you should consider that its a right of a human to eat meat and you shouldnt take that right from them. Nobody force you to eat meat but you shouldnt force poeple also to only live with vegetables. And Oshos words and his non-accepting of humans who eat meat is a fascistic way to treat poeple. He makes humans who eats meat feel bad for the sake of any animals- thats not right!

It is not a right for somebody to eat meat, Do you understand the concept of what a right is? & if so i don't see how you can argue that somebody holds the right to harm another being without calling upon speciesism.
Even still vegetarianism is a humanitarian goal by reducing carbon footprint & the unnecessary waste in growing an animal merely so we can eat it for taste which results in huge loss of biodiversity AND starves others by feeding crop to animals

For me eating meat is a matter of health, My ancestry is one where we lived in cold weather not in an area with an all year growing season, depending on the hunt. My blood, O+, is adapted towards being healthiest with eating meat. All the people I know with O blood who became vegetarian turned into string~beans, including myself. I honor the animals I eat. I wish I could be more accepted in this community....

Meat and vegitable is not on same game! If I was a flower I would not eat another flower! We have been taught that we are not animal! It's a trick so we can keep eat meat with no guilt! Osho is right he says we can't say that we are not animal but I can say that we are superman! So Osho says we are animal also and that's mean animal is our familj! so if you don't feel guilt when eating meat then you are not aware yet. I am not estetisc cause killed a whooper early today

We eat grains,fruits,vegetables. We dont kill plants. These foods tht we eat are ripe and are shed by the plants,so technically we aint killing the plant. The same apple or mango tree can give u fruits for years,they get ripe and fall to the groung,that holds for fruits and veggies. food grains,after giving seeds like wheat or rice,the plants wither because they have completed their life cycle.We harvest those seeds and grains. So,no plant is really killed.

There is no condemnation for what you eat to satisfy the earthly body. We are all part of the food chain. This is the deal that all that is God has made to manifest in this plane as an infinity of living beings.
There is an energy on what you eat; how it was killed, died and so forth that is part of the Karma transferred as a meal. Sometimes there no choice as the prime directive is to stay alive. Yet, if one can afford it, consider aesthetics, why not???

@porkyo123 - of course it's way more likely that what he meant was that lying is unclean. Jesus isn't a tard, so he won't have been unaware that it's easily possible to convey harmful intent (such as double-speak) without ever swearing or using gossip or what is usually deemed hate-speech.
Example - he's unlikely to have approved of what you did there, which is to take his words as shallow things that back up your diet choices.

Pardon me, but does he really say that freedom is the ultimate value to him, and then trying to tell us what to eat? Although I agree with many of his thoughts, the whole thing just looks like an attempt to convince people that his personal choices of lifestyle add up to some superior-spiritual way of living, but it just doesn't contain any more consistency than any other free-thinker's personal lifestyle. Just an opinion, no offense.

@brickflowtube OSHO pauses a LOT. if you dont have a long or practiced attention span, its easy to lose him, drift then float back to a totally different point. although, you must have seen SOME consistency otherwise you couldn't have generalized him as a "free-thinker." Or maybe you just categorize everyone you don't immediately "get" this way. Just an opinion, no offense. Reading his books (which are bestselling and remarkable) makes the flow a lot easier, then you can go at your own pace.
