  • idrive system > pioneer indash

  • what clean install..very nice

  • so wait you dont have the factory entertainment system up top on the dashboard right?....did you intall it yourself?

  • what you do with the heated seats controls?

  • i love this head unit but i dont like apple :P so ya lol

  • Steering wheel controls don't work do they?

  • who'd you get it installed by? its amazing btw, i always thought these beamers needed something like this but i felt they made so that you can't :$

  • Well done. Very clean looking. Style of deck goes well with the car and you even got the red led buttons to match the rest of the interior buttons. Can you open the ash tray all the way with that? looks like it sticks out a bit and may get in the way.

  • nice

  • Could you still use the steering will control on this one... i have heard the PDC stops working when you install a different unit.

Also how much did it cost

  • What happened to the heated seat controls?

  • gay

  • So....

    iPod capable.

    GPS.

    Radio.

    DVD.

    SD Card.

all in one made by Pioneer?

  • no back-up cam?

  • Hey , just a question .Did you retain AM radio ? Because mine doesn't (Only noises)and would like to know how if you do.thanks.

  • @sohandsome Yes my AM works. Dunno why yours doesnt.

  • @srcstc Thanks for your reply, Do you mind telling me what kind of antenna adaptor you intalled behind the headunit, I would like to get one of those too.

  • @srcstc whered you get the money for a m3 09 holyy shitt bro your rich ahhaa

  • just curious.. how is the logic 7 sound system stock? is it awesome??

  • Does it play dvd's

  • @drewzats of course

  • the questin is can u buy an american z110bt and install uk maps on it

  • @wozzers2 I don't think so. The previous Z series was hard drive based so you could but I don't think it's possible with this one. Isn't there a UK model.

  • @srcstc

F10BT it is called in Europe.

  • @wozzers2 the uk model is 1500 the us model works out at 670 once converted though its the older model but there is only subtle differences between the z110bt and the f20bt itihkn bluetooth audio streaming for one but im gonig to hook up my z110bt to a portable hdd i found just the device

  • ok thanks bro for your help. now i've check to a local store on that Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT for more detail thx.

  • no i have 2006bmw e90 320d SE, but i like this system and i want to install a double din instead the factory stereo, but the think is i don't want to loos the steering wheel controls...

  • @AStateOfTranceMusic

You don't have to. Check out the Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT

  • @xmdude626 thanks, you know where can i buy it pls ?

  • @AStateOfTranceMusic

You can get the dash kit at mybimmer.net

  • the steering wheel controls are still work on that type of Double Din ? thanks

  • @AStateOfTranceMusic

Yeah boss, you need to get a PAC steering wheel interface though.

  • @AStateOfTranceMusic

Yes, you need a PAC steering wheel adapter. SWI-PS.

And if you have a BMW E9X you also need the SWI-CAN2

  • sick head unit, boss.

  • @xmdude626

Thanks. Check out the Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT. It's even better!!!!

  • @srcstc well the only difference is just the new AV user interface and the Pandora and musicsphere thing. I don't really like how the XM interface is on the 120BT.

  • @xmdude626 you should look on here for the videos of the 120BT. It's a huge difference. And you won't find another brand that handles XM better than Pioneer. Trust me on that one.

  • This is crazy cool looking, check out my 335i on my channel. Its just a walk around and an interior view, good luck with your car LOOKS HOTT INSIDE!

  • @ericbam1227 Thanks!

  • Will this unit work in an 07 335i coupe? If not, do you know of any aftermarket units that will?

Great job on this installation and thanks for the vid. Awesome!!!

  • @volleyvin14 thats what i have, check out my 335i coupe on my channel, do u have any vids of yours up?

  • @volleyvin14

    Yes.

  • Do you have factory speakers and amp as well? Also, where did you get your wiring harness?

  • @chetdiddy

    Yes. Scosche or Metra

  • where did you move the heated seat controls?

  • where did you relocate the heated seat controls? looks incredible by the way.

  • Hey, did you have to move the AC controls up? In the BMW I was looking at the radio was above the AC controls. And I don' t think it would fit a double din in there, and if I do a flip-up then it would block the vents...

  • I had to move them to the top. They don't really fit below the double-din without lots of cutting or having it look weird (bulge out too much).

  • Also did u install it yourself or did u have a professional do it?

  • myself

  • I've been lookin for an in-dash nav for my 335 because I didn't get the factory installed idrive. Did u lose any functionality when u installed the pioneer?? Do the controls on the steering wheel still work?

  • No and yes.

  • hi i take it u dont have heated seats?? if so where do the buttons go?? cheers

  • Yes I do. they can go in the ashtray, center armrest storage or you can install the new climate controls with built in heated seat buttons.

  • thats cool...i also have the automatic start on/off button and parking sensor on/of button to relocate...where did you put yours?? i have the bmw Alpine front speaker and amp upgrade already in my car...this unit u have is it a plug and play or do u need to change the connections at the back? also do all of the controls on ur steering wheel still work? thanks

  • Yes I do. they had to be relocated.

  • CLEAN

  • LOVE IT:... i´d like to have both your car and sound system.... brilliant

  • Thanks!!

  • Hi. I am very interested in buying one of these bezels. I have sent you a email with my contact info will you please check that so we can talk. I have several questions.

  • @iggyg52785

If you have any questions, email them to me and I'll get back to you.

  • @srcstc

where can i email you to have info about it??

  • My email address is on my website. A link to my website is in the video info------>

  • quick question do you have the 335i with the idrive or without it?

  • without

  • quick question. for an automatic 328i. is it a hassle to use this monitor when in park?

  • Мульти руль функцианирует? Или после того как убрал стоковую аудиосистему он не будет работать?

  • Мульти руль функцианирует с адаптером.

  • PAC SWI-PS

    PAC SWI-CAN2

  • Тогда супер

  • Great video, I have the U310BT, its my second pioneer deck and i love it to death. I must say your model is definately worth the extra cash, alot of functionality. The fact that you heard BBC radio on XM made me want to get the adapter for mine! Oh and i LOVE bimmers, its nice to see how well you can make an aftermarket deck fit with a little effort, youve got yourself a very nice ride, enjoy it and enjoy the deck.

  • Thank you!

It's the best deck out right now IMO. There are many options. I can play music&videos off my iphone (or ipod) with the included cable, music&videos off my iphone via bluetooth, music&videos off a USB thumbdrive, music&videos off a SD card (got a 16GB in there now), dvd, cd, fm, am, xm (or siruis) and HD radio. What else could you want?

And I love radio1. It's what I listen to most of the time.

  • I also have the meme transport and I would like to make as you! Your to pay dear(expensive)? I have to go to an agent to piooner? Thank you

  • thanks for trying this. I was think of doing this, same car / diff headunit. But it just doesn't blend in well. Although it's not for me, you'd probly sell plenty in carbon fiber. or maybe matching brushed aluminum oooh!

    ;)

  • awesome

  • Thanks

  • @srcstc hey quick question...on 328i's, dont the climate controlls come on the bottom? i see you dont have the nav that came built in so does that mean i can move my climate controll buttons to the top like you?

  • On all E9X models the climate controls are in the middle below the stock radio. I had to move them to the top because there's no room for them at the very bottom below the aftermarket radio... unless I hack up some of the dash & climate controls.

    Yes you can.

  • so i would basicially have to move mines up because i plan on buying a 328i sedan...is that what your saying? because if so and if its easy...you my friend have made 300 bucks because i will gladly buy one of your bezels on your website...i would not touch bmws because of their shitty navigation and lack of ipod usage but now that i see i can do this...it went right back to number on on my list..so get back to me when you have the chance...and by any chance is there a way i can aim or email you?

  • Yea the install is pretty easy. My email is on my website. Email me if you have any other questions.

  • Is your original harness plug and play??? and i assume your steering wheel cntrls dnt work with out the adapter thing right?

  • No harness is plug n play. All require a cheap wiring harness.

There's a company that makes an adapter to retain your steering wheel buttons (PAC).

    I'm using the PAC SWI-PS and SWI-CAN2.

  • original radio and LCD color screen removed ???? No have problems for removed ??? Thanks

  • Nope, no problems.

  • How you listening to radio 1 in the states?

  • All XM and Sirius Satellite Radio subscribers get BBC's Radio 1. It's my favorite channel too!

  • i mean the actual panel that houses the reciever and the hvac controls

  • Yes it is. I make them and sell them:

Hit (more info) on the right for the link to my website.

  • I may try and do something like this in my e90 i like how it looks very flush... it that a custom one off piece?

  • looks good broham

  • Thanks!
