I know. The thing is that they adopted a more death metal approach to their music over the years. "Evangelion", their latest album, brings back their black metal side a bit so "The Apostasy" and the masterpiece "Demigod" are albums that maybe you'll enjoy.

I'm not saying you have to like them, just respect them. They've come a LONG way. And yeah their music was shit and I'm sure Nergal knows it and laughs at how he used to be ;)

I was searching for songs from the band Moonspell and I ran accross these guys. I didn't like the song much but I liked the melody and wanted to clear it. Since I played guitar, I looked it up and loved it, so I did some research.

I think that you all are quite missing the point of their music in the first place. "At the left hand ov god" was an extremely powerful piece, and so was inner sanctum. A piece of music doesn't have to be powerful if they're only up their jamming guitars and screaming out on the top of their lungs: Even if they are good in their instruments and lyrics. What's important is also how they blend the music to create an aura. When you pay attention to both carefully, keeping 'em in mind, you get it.

Agreed, I kinda like Apostasy, but they lost the intricacy of the riffs in their songs that they had on the past like Thelema.6's tracks after Inauguration Of Scorpio Dome, those are the definition of blackened death; Garden of Dispersion, Vinum Sabbati, 23; Those are my three favorite tracks of Behemoth.

I still support Behemoth, but I have listened to Demigod and Apostasy many times over, and Apostasy just is someone screaming for attention vs Demigod, a brutal assault of extreme metal with carefully thought out lyrics.
