Theme songs usually sound better, or at least different, without audience noise. Ever since they started using this music I've thought it was very weak. I looked this up thinking that maybe it'd sound better without applause behind it. It's one of the only ones I've heard that actually sounds worse on its own. It's empty, generic, and really just plain hokey- twice as much so without a cheering audience backing it up.
Frankie Blue & John Hoke should be composers for Jeopardy! than Chris Bell. Can somebody call them and tell them to compose Jeopardy! for 2011-2012 season(maybe not) but for the 2012-2013 season of Jeopardy!
Do you have the 1994-1997 theme, the big band version of "Changing Keys"? It's the only one I haven't heard the whole theme to. I would like to hear the theme in it's entirety, or as some say, in the clear. I was wondering if you had it or if you knew where to find it?
I'm very glad I finally got a chance to hear the full 2006 theme, but I'm sorry to say that I still don't like this as the theme. It's ok music and good for a prize cue, but NOT a main theme.
I still believe the next theme should be an updated version of "Changing Keys". It's what we all want.
@iluvlittleshop921 I disagree, the 1989 edition of "Changing Keys" is the best. The 2002 edition of "Happy Wheel" was ok, but still contend that "Changing Keys" should have NEVER been removed from the show. Period.
If they did things the old-fashioned way by having Charlie (RIP) read all fee plugs at the end of the show instead of putting commercials in their places, we'd get to hear those rarely heard parts of the theme. Charlie would've talked right over them, but at least we'd get to hear them.
@GameShowGamer, I agree with you. Sometimes in my hometown of Joplin, MO, the credits will play longer than other times. But you only get to hear it from 1:53 to the end.
I love this theme the best. Sorry.

@ThePatrickinator, or maybe, they should use either the 1991 or 1997 themes again.

Wheel seems to be the game show that changed its theme music more than any other game show ever did.

Aw, man. You beat me to it. =)
But this is great! It's such a shame that the best part is the part we never get to hear on TV!
