The man who wrote the Never Ending Story had discovered the hidden secrets behind the meanings of the words of the Indo European languages, which still reflect the ancient system of logic of the Pagan Europoids, who were known as the Aryans in India and Central Asia. They spoke a sacret language, Sanskrit, the predecessor of the present day Indo European languages. The words that we speak are hiding more information than we think. Fly a fantasy to pull the secrets out :)
The Aryan Veda's are the oldest religious texts in the world, and the key components of the myths in it are based on the same kind of perticularities as where The Never Ending Story is based on. Interesting to know is that the word veda, meaning 'to know' is directly related to Swedish 'veta', Dutch 'weten', German 'wissen' and English 'wise'. The words 'fat' ('Dutch 'vet') and 'wet' are also related, because of symbolic associations the Aryans made.
This same symbolism was used as basis of the Vedic creation myth: 'The Churning of the Ocean of Milk'. A giant turtle features in this story, and a white horse also passes by.
If you google "churn witch" you will discover that the people behind christianity have thoroughly demonized churning, and that fat and butter were associated with witches. Demonisations like this caused the Europeans to forget their own, extremely ancient heritage. Fat demonisations were even at the basis of propaganda stories during WW1. The story "The Corpse Factory" (1917) is the best known example of this. It accused Germany of making fat and soap from corpses.
I must say that kids today are retarded.... I see my cousin who is like 7 and he has nothing of innocence.... He knows what I knew in 12th grade... he already knows about sex and drugs' names and shit... The cartoons they see suck.. some retard gnome with gum made dog the show is called Adventure time and that retard Jony Test... All that crap sucks just like the Hana Montana shit and ICarly... I remember we were fans of the Ninja Turtles, Voltus 5, The Neverending Story, ect. KIDS SUCK NOW.
Looking for a book with answers? Forget the Bible, the Koran. Read "The Neverending Story" by Michael Ende. The movie does not do it justice. You won't understand if you just see the movie.
i must admit atreyu was a cutey until i found he was a boy, and that sort of put a crimp on things. But even today I find him a nice looking boy in the film :)
It reminds me of lord of the rings a little, it took a boy to save fantasia. in lord of the rings it took a hobbit. They both had a medalion around there necks. And they both took a hard journey while meeting companions on the way.
This was my favorite movie as a kid. I was nine when this came out in 1984. I was so blown away by it. Some of it was filmed in Vancouver, you can see the Habour Centre when Bastian and the Luck Dragon are flying into the city. I had an opportunity to spend time in Vancouver. I guess the cycle is complete. Ahh the 80's
i was just thinking maybe the horse in the scene got pissed of taking him everyware and said fuck i'm going to kill my self you can walk you lazy cunt idle bastard lol
@senomad I'm 18, and when I watched the movie lately with my younger brothers, I was really afraid of Gmork (the Werewolf) and they were not and laughed at me :D Today, the most eerie thing for kids is something like cutting off peoples arms and zombies and stuff like that ... when I was a child that werewolf was the most terrible thing I knew, I still think he is (perhaps that's childish, but I don't know, somehow he symbolizes fear itself for me).

I do agree. I think that people make music just for fame these days because it's become so easy to become famous by spending a few days/weeks recording a song and modifying your voice on a PC that some do just that.

@birthgod Yes! Jennings made these very same points at the Thearwoold Conference in 1982. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people either forget this because of the loss of the Defkar Script, or they choose to ignore it simply out of fear. But, it cannot be stressed enough, the Oumian subtext of the Defkar script is real, and it is imperative! It must be reckoned with at some point. Ultimately, the linguists must be the ones to have the courage to shed light on this.
@TheMJtheGOD or how about not all of us knew until we learned, just like the man who wrote the story ? now that i know i will know forever.... never ending memory.
@TheMJtheGOD Linguists are conditioned to think within a certain realm, that fits into the present 'correct' version of history. If they go beyond the dogmatic end truths that are teached inside the bo(o)ks it's carreer suicide. Who is Jennings b.t.w.?
@birthgod Lol. I have one grain of sand left. It's my only hope of saving whats left of my apartment. I must believe i can save it. Help me believe otherwise I have no place to live .
@birthgod Sanskrit is one of the oldest recorded languages, along with Sumerian. While there are very few things written in original Sanskrit, it can be traced back to 4,000BC.
Beautiful song, beautiful movie, already they do not do of these, in spite of the years it(he,she) continues affecting to big and boys, and the song also, perfect complement.
Good work vali103, regards.
Hermosa cancion, hermosa pelicula, ya no hacen de estas, a pesar de los años sigue conmoviendo a grandes y chicos, y la cancion tambien, perfecto complemento.
we 70's and 80's kids -- this was our Harry Potter -- the horse scene in the mud still gets me - even though I am now in my 40's ... that still traumatizes me up to this day
Nickykiss! My life is too neverending story and this is something very special. The Movie is so beautiful ! The music gives me harthbeats, lovely. Best ever in the world. Satutv.
I watched this when I was a kid, about 25 years ago.
This movie just popped into my head last night for no reason at all. Came now just to look on youtub and amazed how many people still remember and love this movie.
This was the best movie movie for us kids back in the day.
A theme song for the ages that personifies a child's NEVERENDING FANTASY - I was 6 years old when this movie was released ............. when I listen to it over the years it makes me feel young, lively, free from political ebbed lies, and autonomous from war and crime as well poverty. I personify myself within the melody and I envision that my Fantasia is somewhere heavenly pristine with my childhood princess turned Queen awaits.
this song is so beautiful good sound quality i have always loved this song and moive

@birthgod Sanskrit is one of the oldest recorded languages, along with Sumerian. While there are very few things written in original Sanskrit, it can be traced back to 4,000BC.

This song brings a massive wave of childhood memories rushing back. As an adult, it seems to have a spiritual quality.

Beautiful song, beautiful movie, already they do not do of these, in spite of the years it(he,she) continues affecting to big and boys, and the song also, perfect complement.
Good work vali103, regards.

we 70's and 80's kids -- this was our Harry Potter -- the horse scene in the mud still gets me - even though I am now in my 40's ... that still traumatizes me up to this day
