I always found Frog to be my favorite character in Chrono Trigger because he was heavily conflicted. His past haunted him, thus he went into hidding. The demons within himself that he slays along the way are greater than that of his victories over Cyrus's Ghost & Magus. Frog's story is one of redemption and forgiveness. In order for him to forgive himself of assumed cowardice, he must avenge his past. It's an alluring tale............I love FROG(Glenn)

In the game frog has a flashback to when Cyrus decides to join the knighthood (remember cyrus beat masa and mune by himself, and was a hero in Gaurdia), there Cyrus himself says that Glenn is the better swordsman and warrior after Glenn refuses to join the knighthood with Cyrus.
