Geno was owned by Square (Enix) but copyrighted Mario during Super Mario RPG and Mega Man is copyrighted by Capcom, so infringements would ensue. Plus much data storage was already used for EVERYTHING ELSE! However, older titles DID have more characters so it probally wouldn't hurt to add the two and bring back the five removed Smashers. :P
