Andrew Neill biased?? That's a laugh, he's about the only political interviewer who isn't obviously biased. He's tough but reasonable to all sides. He doesn't kneel down and kiss arse like Andrew Marr and he doesn't just act rude and obnoxious for the sake of it like Jeremy Paxman. His Daily Politics show is the only political show that's really worth watching. Granted, This Week is not nearly as good.

Andrew Neil is clearly a smart guy, but watching him right now on BBC2's Election 2010, it's clear that his mouth tends to run away from him quite a lot.

Maybe he's not always like this, but right now it's almost as though he's trying too hard to be the guy with the quick sharp tongue. To me at least, it's coming over just that little bit too sarcastic and mean spirited. I'd say he needs to slightly rebalance his state of mind while interviewing.
