  • hey i am trying to burn a DVD. i converted my mpeg video using DVDflick. now i am trying to put it on a CD as a DVD. should i click the data disc section for this?

  • @111stevenking So you have a DVD movie and you are trying to put it on a CD? If so that is not possible. You will need to shrink the size of the DVD movie first. If you want to shrink the DVD you can use a free program called Handbrake.

    - Joey

  • Great burning software and free of charge which is also great.Thank you sir for this

    tutorial

  • Umm can you help me i am trying to play this at my car and it doesn't work can some1 tell me y

  • @roxas142 That is a problem sometimes. The reason is that either the Car CD player can't read burnt CDs or the Car CD player can't read the brand of CDs that you used.

    - Joey

  • Does this work for itunes ?

  • @cortes1988 If iTunes only allows you to download ".aac" music file formats then, No it does not support burning iTunes music. If you are given the option to download ".mp3" music file formats then, Yes it will work.

    - Joey

  • You save lifes dude thx now i bured a cd for my dad. And look i made alot of $ with it :D

    - Joey

  • So just to burn a DVD which one would I go to? Data Disk, Audio Disk, Burn ISO image, Copy disc?

  • @SGTRUNIONgameplay If you want to burn a DVD with random files on it use the Data Disk option.

    - Joey

  • @ClearTechInfo Does the Data Disc option work for converting for use on a DVD player and does it let you create a menu?

  • CAN I BURN DVD?

  • @darkside808fck Yes. You can burn DVDs.

  • i have problem on the music disc it says somthing about tracks

  • @TheRuneScapeBrother1 What is the exact error? Can you take a screen shot and post it up so I can see it? You can private message me the the link.

    - Joey

  • Hi, i like to get my music from youtube. how do i burn music from youtube using cdburnerxp? can you help me please?

  • @uphill248 Hello. You first need to grab the music from YouTube and turn it into an MP3. Sites like vidtomp3[DOT]com can do this. Then burn the songs you want to a CD using CDBurnerXP using my tutorial above.

    - Joey

  • can i add subbtitles? if i can how?

  • @bostjan3000 Nope. You can't add subtitles with this software.

  • would that slow down my computer??

  • @jeissen01

No, it will not slow down your computer if you install the program. But like all CD burning programs when you are copying files to a CD the computer might slow down. But when it finishes it will come back to normal speed.

  • is the disc can played in car?

  • @thvsp yes :-)

    - Joey

  • This doesn't burn DVD/Videos :(

  • hey hello i have a question why when i try to burn files it appears that there is no compatible device

  • Hi Julio,

I never had problems with this. But a commenter did a while back. His was was to use another, free program called imgburn. See if that one works for you...

    Go to: imgburn(DOT)com

  • does this burn movies???

  • No it does not

  • @ClearTechInfo What programme would you recommend that is free easy to use and does allow you to burn movies?

  • @be93lolzy

DvdFlick is free and it will burn videos on your computer on a DVD and make it playable on normal TV DVD players

    dvdflick(DOT)net

    JOey

  • @ClearTechInfo Cheers dude im downloading it now and i will tell you what i think after a use thanks =D

  • @ClearTechInfo I don't like DvdFlick because the movie i burned, the video cant catch up with the sound....

If you know the answer please share with because i looked at forums and none of their suggestions had even help me. If you know of a different program that you would recommend please reply.

  • @restramp

The only other one I used is "ConvertXtoDVD". But that is not free.

    Joey

  • I have tried to read info on Nero alternatives bc it's not free. (I had the cd to d/l nero with the serial number but misplaced that cd) and have tried d/loading different softwares, but am having a hard time getting data on a disc or getting the entire DVD files saves on my computer on a blank DVD.

  • How much data are you trying to put on a DVD? Or is it a movie?

    Joey

  • Hi. Thanks for the advice. I hope I can make this clear. So I had Dvd Fab Decrypter and Dvd Shrink. I'd use 1 to decode a dvd, then dvd shrink to back up the files. Then, I'd use Nero to write it. I accidently deleted Nero and now, I can "burn" dvd files but when I play it, I ger an cannot read disc erroe. I d/loaded this software, but now I have issues with the DVD files being too large for the blank dvd. I never had these issues with nero. What can I do to minimize the files and have room?

  • Make sure DVD-shrink shrinks down the move to a DVD-5 size dvd which is the 4.3 GB disk. Then you can burn it.

  • Nice!

  • When i try to burn an iso. all it says is preparing to write to disc.

    Why does it not burn?

  • Is your CDBurnerXP program up-to-date with the latest version installed?

If yes, then it might be your CD media. Here are the possibilities..

1 You are trying to burn an ISO meant for a DVD onto a CD (use a DVD instead)

2 You are trying to burn an ISO meant for a CD onto a DVD (use a CD)

3 The media you are trying to use already has something burnt to it

Another possibility is that your CD/DVD burner is not compatible with the program. Have you ever burnt anything else using CDBurnerXP?

    Joey

  • @ClearTechInfo, thanks but it said preparing to write disc for just under an hour. I tried ImgBurn and that did it in 2 mins lol.

  • Glad you found a way to burn the image.

Is ImgBurn also free like CDBurnerXP?

    Joey

  • I have a big problem. I have completed everything but the disc is not writable due to it being DVD+R Dual layer. I have tryed burning it pre and post reformat but it doesnt work still. How do I make it readable because I had a pro refer me to this EXACT disc for game burning. Which I am doing.

  • You need a compatible recorder to burn the disc. You probably have a DVD burner but you need a newer DVD DL burner for it to work.

    - Joey

  • Isnt this the newest DVD burner? So I need to get a new burner or a new DVD DL??

  • Sorry. I am not sure what DVD burner you have on your computer so I do not know if it is the newest or not.

I can't link on here so on Google search for "piriform speccy". Go do that site and download the "Portable" version which is free. Run that program and tell me what is says under "Optical Drive". I will be able to tell you what type of burner you have.

    - Joey

  • Can i Burn MP3 with this sofware ? Excelent Video 5/5 and Thank's you !!!!

  • Yes, you can burn MP3s to CD with this software.

    Thanks for the rating. :-)

    - Joey

  • Ok Thank's and Good Day !!!

  • hey do u have any other dvd burning softwares wich can like convert avi videos to dvd format..... not dvd flick cause it takes way tooo long... for me

    reply bak thx ^^

  • The fastest one I have used is "ConvertXtoDVD". It works fast and easy to use.

Just 1 thing, if you have an older CPU, no matter what software you use it will be really slow.

    - Joey

  • @NFSFan99 whewps.. i meant .mkv videos...

if my question doesnt make any sense to u den can u just give me some dvd burning softwares thx again :D

  • ConvertXtoDVD also works on .mkv files. It works on almost any video format. :-)

  • thx man!

    i'll try it out :D

  • what if you only have dvd -ram (E:)?i can burn cd just by downloading this program?

  • It does work with some DVD-ram drives but not all. Here is a compatibility list.

    cdburnerxp(DOT)se/en/testeddrives?search=dvd-ram

Replace the "(DOT)" with a real "."

  • DOES DIS MAKE U BURN CD'S

  • Yes, it burns CDs

  • Do I have to have a dvd player?

  • No. The software will run on computers with just CD burners.

    - Joey

  • can i drag a AVi file this and would it convert it to dvd format so i can burn dvd reply back plz

  • CDBurnerXP will not do this. Try the free program dvdflick. dvdflick(dot)net

    - Joey

  • awsome video man

  • cool

  • Audio is the same as YouTube videos?

  • No. What we chatted about was different.

You DL the YT videos to your PC. Then save them to a CD or DVD as "Data".

Last you view the videos using VLC media player.

    - Joey :-)

  • It does work fine on xp, it is what we have.

  • Good to know. :-)

  • I like InfraRecorder as much as this, even though this one has more features ;)

  • Great video man, im finna download this right now, I bet the file size is way smaller then nero too....

  • It's just over 3 MB. You can easily download it to a USB drive and install it on as many XP and Vista computers you want. :-)
