Hi, excuse me I try to burn but I can t I think the problem is in the part NO COMPATIBLE DRIVES, I can t write anything and I don t know what to do thank s
hey i am trying to burn a DVD. i converted my mpeg video using DVDflick. now i am trying to put it on a CD as a DVD. should i click the data disc section for this?
@111stevenking So you have a DVD movie and you are trying to put it on a CD? If so that is not possible. You will need to shrink the size of the DVD movie first. If you want to shrink the DVD you can use a free program called Handbrake.
@roxas142 That is a problem sometimes. The reason is that either the Car CD player can't read burnt CDs or the Car CD player can't read the brand of CDs that you used.
@cortes1988 If iTunes only allows you to download ".aac" music file formats then, No it does not support burning iTunes music. If you are given the option to download ".mp3" music file formats then, Yes it will work.
@uphill248 Hello. You first need to grab the music from YouTube and turn it into an MP3. Sites like vidtomp3[DOT]com can do this. Then burn the songs you want to a CD using CDBurnerXP using my tutorial above.
No, it will not slow down your computer if you install the program. But like all CD burning programs when you are copying files to a CD the computer might slow down. But when it finishes it will come back to normal speed.
I never had problems with this. But a commenter did a while back. His was was to use another, free program called imgburn. See if that one works for you...
@ClearTechInfo I don't like DvdFlick because the movie i burned, the video cant catch up with the sound....
If you know the answer please share with because i looked at forums and none of their suggestions had even help me. If you know of a different program that you would recommend please reply.
I have tried to read info on Nero alternatives bc it's not free. (I had the cd to d/l nero with the serial number but misplaced that cd) and have tried d/loading different softwares, but am having a hard time getting data on a disc or getting the entire DVD files saves on my computer on a blank DVD.
Hi. Thanks for the advice. I hope I can make this clear. So I had Dvd Fab Decrypter and Dvd Shrink. I'd use 1 to decode a dvd, then dvd shrink to back up the files. Then, I'd use Nero to write it. I accidently deleted Nero and now, I can "burn" dvd files but when I play it, I ger an cannot read disc erroe. I d/loaded this software, but now I have issues with the DVD files being too large for the blank dvd. I never had these issues with nero. What can I do to minimize the files and have room?
I have a big problem. I have completed everything but the disc is not writable due to it being DVD+R Dual layer. I have tryed burning it pre and post reformat but it doesnt work still. How do I make it readable because I had a pro refer me to this EXACT disc for game burning. Which I am doing.
Sorry. I am not sure what DVD burner you have on your computer so I do not know if it is the newest or not.
I can't link on here so on Google search for "piriform speccy". Go do that site and download the "Portable" version which is free. Run that program and tell me what is says under "Optical Drive". I will be able to tell you what type of burner you have.

@SGTRUNIONgameplay If you want to burn a DVD with random files on it use the Data Disk option.

Make sure DVD-shrink shrinks down the move to a DVD-5 size dvd which is the 4.3 GB disk. Then you can burn it.

When i try to burn an iso. all it says is preparing to write to disc.
Why does it not burn?
ScottishKiid 2 years ago
Is your CDBurnerXP program up-to-date with the latest version installed?
If yes, then it might be your CD media. Here are the possibilities..
1 You are trying to burn an ISO meant for a DVD onto a CD (use a DVD instead)
2 You are trying to burn an ISO meant for a CD onto a DVD (use a CD)
3 The media you are trying to use already has something burnt to it
Another possibility is that your CD/DVD burner is not compatible with the program. Have you ever burnt anything else using CDBurnerXP?
Joey
ClearTechInfo 2 years ago
@ClearTechInfo, thanks but it said preparing to write disc for just under an hour. I tried ImgBurn and that did it in 2 mins lol.
ScottishKiid 2 years ago
Glad you found a way to burn the image.
Is ImgBurn also free like CDBurnerXP?

You need a compatible recorder to burn the disc. You probably have a DVD burner but you need a newer DVD DL burner for it to work.
- Joey

Just 1 thing, if you have an older CPU, no matter what software you use it will be really slow.

No. What we chatted about was different.
You DL the YT videos to your PC. Then save them to a CD or DVD as "Data".
Last you view the videos using VLC media player.
