kara used to be 4 members, but because songhee failed in her university test, so her parents told her to focused on her study. hence, 2 new members were added: jiyoung and goo ha ra.. love them!
it took me a while until i was able to appreciate the whole 1st album, at first the songs didnt grab my attention, only this song and one of thier ballads. I bought the first album not until recently and i was impressed with it, even though i like KARA now the KARA before was just as good!! Too bad The first blooming didnt do them any justice, im glad that they went through the change and end up where they are now, KARA JJANG!
The composer(s) should be genius! As if he ate all the pop songs essence of all ages and countries and assimilated it completely to make his own songs. It makes me get down memory lane when my ears are caught by but, yes, definitely different from the one I used to listen to: it should be a new pops standard. I prefer Kara in their early stage to nowadays. I miss the song like this in Japan.
It's good if they have SungHee, they will have neutralizer for their high melody. But with new Kara today, they had done better and continuously have improved from the very start. Kara with JiYoung and HaRa is good with the refreshing melody and harmony, hearing songs like Rollin' and Umbrella and Rock You. They have it done catchy and Mister is supremely great and has really done great with their popularity, especially the booty dance.
There old music was so edgy....it was a lot better than the cute buble gum music they make now.....but you gotta agree there cuter now with the 5 girls....hopefully sunghee will return cause she had SOME AWESOME VOCALS...making them a 6 member girl group....hopefully they encorporate their old style with the new one..that would be GREAT

No matter it's SNSD, WG, Kara, 4minute, After school, T-ara, Miss A, Rainbow, BEG or whatever group. In their video there will always be people saying who is better....
I find them all the same... it's all great! So.. i think people should really respect other even if they don't like whatever group..

@asianstars1 i love all of their songs so it is really hard to pick but the most played from my kara playlist is lonely, it's such a touching song. i like the slower songs of kara because their voices are just beautiful in them and it is so soothing
Kara is indeed the best group in my opinion. They went through alot to be at where they are now. I really respect determined groups. Just I'm saddened that their First Blooming album did not sell well in 2007. Such a shame, the whole album was great.

@karashidae That's not true, they're once known tobe 2nd Fink.L of Korea back in 2007 but couldn't beat the popularity of Wonder Girls and SNSD, WG & SNSD was wayyy to popular and Kara couldn't lift their position at charts. So Sung Yuri left the company and Kara went complete transformation with two new members.

I don't know why you guys are being like this. It's not true that SNSD will always be on top. That's not true for a fact. Wonder Girls is already on top debuting in the US which means that they're on the top right? Plus, I think that Kara and SNSD are on the same level of popularity but SNSD has a little bit more even though Kara is gaining more fans with their song "Pretty Girl." It's gaining more people to do the dance.^^

idk what u guyz r talking abt but snsd is not on top of the charts rite now because they are on break recording their next album,

finally someone that understands what iam saying iam not trying to diss kara and the wondergirls but in the end girls generation is and always will be on top. another thing to look at is the fact that girls generation is the only groop who hasn't had groop changes they have continuesley stayed solid.

WG and Kara are totally different in the music dept. don't even start comparing them to WG, they're different singers, I love kara but I like WG's voices better. Kara needs to make a good comeback now so we can have Kara and WG on top, two TALENTED groups, getting sick of WG being compared to SNSD.

that isnt true. the main reason why they were at the top was because SM does a lot of promotion. but if u see now. they haven't gone anywhere as far as wondergirls. i dont kare what anyone says about kara. i like them. jsut as much as i like wondergirls. i dont know about snsd. i like taeyeon's voice. but otherwise i dont listen to them.
