Wi-Fi is almost useless when running at verizon's EVDO-A (3G) speeds. It kills battery life, and it's only as fast as the modems they can fit in the phones (which aren't great). Maybe if the phone wasn't 3G, it would be a hindrance. With current data speed capabilities, 3G is completely unnecessary. .

wi fi is faster than 3g, and kills the same amount of battery too. there are times wen u jsut want to connect to ur home network.

Actually, WTF BlackBerry. I mean EVERY other current phone (besides the original pearl) they make has WiFi on it. Even 3G speeds aren't nearly as fast.
