Why doesn't Jason always use a head-microphone...he sounds much better when he uses one...He moves with his face while playing guitar and thats what you can hear.. (listen to the concert with Earth wind and Fire..he really blew "call on me" that way)

@kanoetie Jason occasionally used a wireless headset microphone on the 2004/2005 tours with Earth, Wind, and Fire. Robert started using headsets in 03 but the members of the band had problems with them, so the band went back to using the wired mics until the 09 tour with EWF where Jason, Robert, and Keith all started using headset mics permanently. In all honesty, the difference you are hearing an audio quality is just part of how this show was mixed. Audio quality isn't perfect on the vocals.
