Anyway it is not possible to live under a 'communist regime' because communism is a stateless and classless society , although it is possible to live under a 'Communist regime'(See the difference, the Capital C is for the type of communism you learn at school e.g China, Cuba).

What are you on about, the grassroots activists in the solidarity movement were against the bureaucracy with the soviet regime. They wanted socialism not soviet bureaucracy, many of the chants were less 'bureaucracy more socialism' it was the fat cats at the top of these trade union movements that wanted the restoration of 'capitalism' just to line their fat pockets.
