  • *tears* because of my experience with Occupy Riverside (California) I am currently involved with the Dean of my University to spend my senior year involved in an independant study to forumalte a health care policy. This work will hopefully lead to adequate information to provide the city council so we can come to an agreement about how to formulate a homeless shelter and public health intervention in the downtown area where I met sp many homeless people during occupy's encampment. Pray for us

  • @MsAudesapere ps. pardon the spelling erroes, these touch screen phones mess me up. Thank you to whoever posted this originally, excellent work.

  • This is a true man right here.

  • Meh, I can't take Occupy seriously. Too many posers with beards and dreads holding a mic with no clue, or bimbos in short shorts and bikini tops sounding stupid in any video.

  • He's not homeless anymore, he's found a home at occupy

  • Copper intervened when a park ambassador tore down our signs and was arrested. Please donate to the Occupy Atlanta Legal Fund so we can bail him out.

  • Mark 12:41-44

Jesus [...] beheld how the people cast money into the treasury. And many who were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And He called unto Him His disciples and said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast more in than all they that have cast into the treasury; for they all cast in of their abundance, but she of her want cast in all that she had, even all her living."

  • James 2: 1-9

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; and ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him:

  • Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

  • But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well. But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

  • That's a smart man right there. Only from experience can some of us learn and those of us that have that experience shouldn't be marginalized. Right on!

  • This is honorable and true. This man spoke eloquently and without reservation for the salvation he found in supporting others. He is a hero.

  • much love to him
