@TheKeyWestian - they are played together as one. I just got my mandolin yesterday, I'm teaching myself. I finally found someone today to tune it. Tomorrow I'll start learning for about an hour a day.. I hope to be able to play a few Christmas song by December!

ahhh the 70's .....went into the marine corps.....got married........had a kid......haha, the 70's were some exiting years, but now a days my son, can play this here instrument, and he's pretty good, he was my first spawn, and I guess between, me going fishing all the time, and his mother bakin' pie, the kid had to get a hobby, this is what he did, it;s kinda cool too sometimes....other times I used to wanna throw that thing in the river
