  • Do you believe no animal should be in captivity or only some animals should be in captivity?

  • Dolphins are so BEAUTIFUL and intelligent. However, this is slavery to them. SET THEM FREE!!! You will not understand the depths to their capativity until YOU WATCH THE COVE!!

Please watch "THE COVE" It is a documentary about dolphins that will change your perspective DRASTICALLY. If you love dolphins, YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO WATCH THE COVE!!! For the dolphins sake, educate your self.

  • i love dolphins :]

  • Can I ask everyone that watches this to watch a film called "The Cove" Its based on the guy that trained flipper, the tv show we have all seen. He knows his stuff, its a very good Documentary. Please watch the film "The Cove"

  • oh my gosh tht dolphin is beautiful. Its breathtaking

  • I am not opposed to swimming w/ the dolphins. They are intelligent, emotional creatures. Because of this give them a gate into the ocean to freely come and go. If they are well taken care of they will come back because they like it. Then you can truly see how well they "like" being in those conditions. But that will never happen because they are an "investment" and a "money maker". SUPPORT WILD EXCURSIONS-You and the dolphins would have more fun!

  • Yup. Ima do that. YAY! I <3 Fl.

  • I did this, I wish I hadn't now...

  • @KaiiesMusic11 Bottlenose.

  • my zayda(grandpa) owns this place im serious not joking

im a vegetarian and have strong views but i know for a fact that lolita was taken from another seaquarium that werent treating it right kk Bye

  • No, Lolita was not, Lolita was captured from the wild in 1971, during a round-up called in Penn Cove Seattle, she was sent directly to the MSQ, if you do not believe me, would you like me to send you a link for a newsweek article about it?

  • Amazing. Look at our video of a dolphin in the wild who decided to go waterskiing with us in Turks and Caicos. - Nautique Sports, Providenciales island

  • i don't know what some of these people are talking about! they take good care of the dolphins... it's not a sin to swim with the dolphins! obviously they are very happy having people come swim with them...they love humans and they have protected some people from sharks. :) i read it and saw it on history and the discovery channel! i love dolphins and im thinking about going to school to study them!

i did it in cozumel, mexico and it was sooo fun! thanks for the vid :)

  • if you knew about how these animals are captured and the stress they suffer while in captivity you would not support such a practice. many many of them are murdered and the "lucky" ones are kept in marine parks etc in concrete tanks that are far too small and deprive them of their natural hunting ability and other behaviours. I think it is good you wish to study them, that way you will realize that these programs should NOT be condoned. Watch/go to see "the cove". That will enlighten you.

  • no dolphins in the US have been taken from a drive hunt like the ones shown in Taiji. Those animals are shipped to facilities in Asia. The US has strict laws banning the capture of marine mammals, so the majority of the animals around today are products of successful breeding programs that could not take place unless the animals were happy. "The Cove" is not an entirely factual movie, be careful if you are trying to use it as an educated source because it's not. It's meant to be emotional.

  • @karissa1523 Karissa, Karissa. You are so young! You have much to learn. I'm glad you love dolphins, but you must understand that keeping them captive is wrong. May I suggest you read "Behind the Dolphin Smile" by Richard (Ric) O'Barry? And please watch "The Cove" video. And also, Animal Planet's show "Blood Dolphins". They tell about where these captive dolphins come from and how bad their captures really are. Please dig for the truth behind the facade.

  • I did this for free when I was a boy. They are common in all the state's coastal waters.

These guys really do love humans.

  • i went swimming with dolphins and it was great

  • a little disappointed with what they actually let you do. a little petting and then 1 ride across the pool once.

i mean, sure, it's only 200 bucks per person, but I would pay 1000 per person if they let it be a more personal experience.

  • ur right ill agree with u

  • Please see "The Cove". movie to learn the ugly truth behind the dolphin-swim industry, before you support it. .

Did you ever wonder where they came from? Or how they were torn away from their parents before captivity? See the movie and learn the truth; you will be glad you did.

Please, people, do NOT pay to swim, ride or be photographed with any animals while traveling.. See WSPA's site for more compassionate travel tips before helping to exploit animals in the name of "entertainment".

  • is this song Christian? Just wondering

  • I love dolphins, and all creatures. It's great to play with them. But I'm getting more and more weary of theirs and elefants, and others' anger at being in captivity, or being separated from family by hunting for sport, or game industry. Let them go free after a reletively short stay on exhibit, at least. Let them go. We are no more free than they are. "The dolphins are thrying to tell us something." -M.I.B. We have other concerns now.

  • i really wanna swim with dolphins next time i go on hol im gonna i ave pet sum b4 there all rubbery lol :)

  • Dolphins are awesome creatures!

  • Omg Tomorow Im going cos, Its my Parents Anniversary Im very Nervous... Because Il be Swiming with them! =O

    MY FIRST TIME GOING THERE

  • Dolphins in captivity live 7 years in average...

    Free dolphins live 30 years...

If you like dolphins, don't encourage this kind of entertainment and leave dolphins alone ! Or watch them in the real sea !

  • as long as it's not the Sea anywhere in the vicinity of Japan,

otherwise all you'll see is DEAD DOLPHINS and the Water run red from their blood :-(

The Japanese fishermen kill thousands and thousands of Dolphins ROUTINELY all through out the year, and call it their "cultural" right !

Boycott Japan until this horror stops!!!

  • heartbeat18: thank you for your important message about freeing captive dolphins. You get a thumbs-up from me!

  • sorry for posting twice i only posted it once but it came up twice for some reason

  • i love dolphins

    :) there so cute

  • dolejsi25 is soo right,if you think dolphins live longer in captivity, then watch this video,a dolphins nightmare, and then rethink your answer from dolejsi25

  • dolphins are so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • CUTE

  • I suppose there is no point in trying to teach the minds of the ignorant...

If there is a shred of human decency in you, you would research the industry before tossing your 100 bucks at.

  • Wow, how wrong you are. Dolphins live longer in Captivity, at least 40 - 50 years. In Captivity they get better medical care, food, and attention. The only way to know if the Dolphins are being mistreated is to go to the facilities. Each facility are different. The ones in the US are some of the best in the world. Swim with the Dolphin is an awesome activity! and a way for humans and dolphins to get to know each other in a safe environment.

  • @kattour2 Dolphins actually don't live longer in captivity. Bottlenose dolphins live on average 30-50 years in the wild. In captivity only 2 or 3 dolphins have made it past 50 and they face none of the same challenges wild dolphins do. Orcas, the largest species of dolphins routinly die prematurely in captivity. The average life expectancy for a wild orca is 50 years, for a captive orca it is 8 years. Overall, it's a cruel industry and I would suggest not supporting it.

  • @kattour2 Also, Miami Seaquarium is probably the most inhumane park in the US. Their orca tank is illegal by APHIS standards and the Top Deck Dolphin tank is below substandard, it has no enrichment and is tiny. Their new dolphin harbor is not much better. Oh and I've been to Miami Seaquarium more times then I can count. Infact, before I learned how cruel cetacean captivity is, I swum with the dolphins in the flipper lagoon. I deeply regret it now.

  • @124yuppers I would suggest for many others out there to judge for themselves whether to go or not just like you did. Its funny you went to the park many times and did the swim with the dolphins program too!! I guess you enjoyed it. Do you still have your photos of you swimming with the dolphins? :-) Why would you go many times, as you say "more times then I can count". I don't think you would spend your hard earned money if you did not have fun and the park put a smile on your face.

  • @kattour2 Yup, I still have those pics and videos. My family has a beach house on Key Biscayne so we're always over there, and since I was little to about a year ago I had to visit MSQ every trip we went on. I took the camps there most years, so yeah I did love the park alot :) But I've learned alot since then, and I don't plan on visiting MSQ or most marine parks again as it is a cruel industry which I do not want to support.

  • @kattour2 I don't know if someone's paying you to lie about captive dolphins, or you're just clueless, but you're wrong and Yuppers is right: dolphins DO NOT live longer in captivity. This is a well-known (except, apparenty, by you) established, documented and published FACT. Anybody who can read knows it. But if you get your info from the people who keep them prisoner just so witless humans will pay hundreds of dollars to "swim with them", well, they're gonna tell you what tyou wanna hear.

  • The look happy how? because they doing tricks? They train them to do these tricks through starvation techniques. The only reason they wave is because they want food...not because they like you. They are extremely intelligent wild animals, that have been taken from their families and now kept in small tank.

  • THAT IS NOT TURE DOLEJSI25! they love it there! in fact, when people came in the water it automatically waved on its own, and the trainer said "wow! we never saw that before! this must be a really good group" and yeah

and the tanks are far from small, they are actually really big

    you are so wrong

  • he was extra hungry... a dolphin would turn on you in second if there wasn't food involved.

But the trainers won't tell you about the number of dolphins that injure people out of stress from being locked in a cement tank...They'll tell they are happy to serve humans, bullshit

  • this clip is sooooooooooooo cute. dolphins are so the best animals in the world!!!!!!

  • I hope you know where these dolphins may come from and what people do with them there. Those who catch dolphins for shows mostly kill hundrets of them. Every Day. The most cruel way you can ever imagine.

Most people don´t even know about it. That´s the problem.

    --

think before acting - always in your life!

  • This is so sad to see people supporting the death of dolphins for their own amusment.

  • they aren't there is a dolphin there that is 55 years old, and the age of dolphin death is 20-25 years.

  • In the wild they travel for hundreds and thousands of miles and avoid direct contact with humans. The daily exploitation of these extremely intelligent dolphins causes them great stress and they die very young.

  • DONT DO THIS, most people dont realize how incredibly cruel it is to the dolphins. The dolphins are violently removed from the groups they live in, which consists of extended family, they are imprisoner in small pens and are forced to perform and be handled by humans everyday, both of which goes against dolphins nature.

  • they look pretty happy to me

  • omg i cant wait cuz i get to swim with dolphins these holidayz!!! omg i lov dolphins cant wait..!!!xx

  • aww i love ittt i want to swim with dolphins soo bad :(

  • Same here.

  • where in florida? near tampa. Or is this discovoey cove?

  • what is the song called

  • The song is called "In the Secret" it is a Christian Worship Song

  • Swimming with dolphins might be a good exerience for humans. But for Dolphins its cruel and degrading. Stop contributing to the senseless capture of these amazing animals.

  • WHAT? You obviously dont know anything about dolphins.

  • What do you know about Dolphins?

  • Alot. I got many trustfull sources. the "visual eciclopedia""Many people think animal shows are like cruel circus where you train animals to do unnatural tricks.Although this theory is proven wrong.(...)) Its easy for dolphins to jump an shim in circles together, and they can reach very intimal(dont think dirty stuff) relations with humans, remember dolphins are very intelligent. They are sooo cute.

  • I agree with Orkidgirl, you think the Youtube community likes this gay video? Dont think so! Search for dolphins slaughter to find out where these dolphins that you get to swim with come from

  • I like it. Most of cummunity of youtube like it.

  • OrkidGal needs to look in a mirror before she cast any stones. Just those words alone shows that character. What comes from a persons pen, comes out of their heart. Remember Virginia Tech! Get love and God in your heart and your will find peace.

  • Great video but man orkidGal I think you need to lay off the bitch pills I love dolphins my self I hope they can all be free but swimming with one of these beautiful creatures is a once in a live time expearince.

  • GOD BLESS YOU

  • ive swam wiv dolphins in tennerife n they r amazin creatures...x they r proper graceful

  • I hope you die a horrible, slow, painful death, just as you've sentenced these beautiful animals to live out their lives in a small tank, entertaining stupid, ignorant people such as yourself for frozen dead fish.

May you never reproduce to propogate your ignorant, selfish ways.

  • DELETE COMMENT USELESS

  • The only other option for the dolphins would be a slow death, you idiot.

  • is that a christian song??

  • Love that song by Sonicflood. Cool vid. I'd so love to one day swim with dolphins. *sigh* One day.
