@spungnut i can see you are an internet troll by posting a comment 1 month ago talking about brett favre touching a FSU girl at 9 years old, you sir are an idiot.. lol. i honestly dont even have time for fags like you... yes fags.... i know you're going to look through this for any mistakes and then bash me for it saying i am an idiot.. then afterwards you will jack off to tranny porn in your moms basement
I wonder if Brett took dick pics after this game....oh wait, that FSU girl was probably only 9 at the time. He probably waited at least til next season.
With maybe the exception of Peyton and Eli (due to the fact that Archie played in the NFL), I don't think anyone else could win everyone over the way Favre did that day.
screw the 4 people that didn't give this a thumbs up...... i don't care if u don't like Favre, this was impressive as hell... and really shows what the man was made of
We here in oakland may not seem like it, but we have heart. He may have destroyed us. But he deserved a good game, losing your father is like none other.
The Packers are certainly in excellent hands with Aaron Rodgers, but that doesn't take away from what Favre did in Green Bay at all. Rodgers is great too, but how many of these simply magical moments has he given us so far? Nothing like what Favre did. In my opinion, Aaron Rodgers is already the better player, even at Favre's peak... But there's something to be said for the way Favre captivated all of us during his time in Green Bay, and brought relevance back to a truly unique, proud franchise
Brett's got the stuff champs r made of. No QB in NFL history has won more games. To all of his critics- go win 180+ games, then talk. He remains one of my faves, and arguably the greatest!
I watched this game as a Teen and Had grown up watching #4, I can honestly say I think this may have been his best game ever 1:20 into DOUBLE COVERAGE!!! defines Brett I miss him in green bay
you know what i like about brett favre he enjoys to play football its not about money its about the game every body says how bad he is for all of his interceptions big deal it took 19 seasons he could have thrown the ball away like so many others do or tuck and run but he is a quarterback and he wants to throw i say let him throw the ball hes not scared of it

Favre is BACK again! To all you fair weather fans, Have fun. Bottom line is you never walked in his shoes, so don't judge. Thanks Brett, I look forward to this season even though I will always be a Packer fan.
Because the play their hearts out for their Dad's. I'm sure that with both of them their father's were with them every step of the way on their long journey to the NFL and the best way to honor their memories is to play the best game of footbal they possibly can

This is stupid.. I wasnt clapping for his Touchdowns.. He was facing a back up secondary..since both Woodsons were injured.. The Starting QB-Gannon was out for the yr.. weeks before.. The Raiders D-line was also hurt.. the best player on defense that day had to be Napolean Harris.. Romo was also injured early in the season.
Favre was not facing the real and healthy Oakland Raiders.. especially on defense..
On Offense only Rice / Brown were there, with a 3rd string QB.
Look at what Favre did last year to the against the Cardinals. One person said he faced a horrible secondary that day. Yeah, they were so horrible that they went all the way to the superbowl. Favre still would have OWNED the Raiders no matter who was playing. If you play with enough emotion, no one can beat you. NO ONE!!! = D
Thanks for posting thsi video, richgannonrocks. JUst a quick question. Can you tell me the names of all the quaterbacks for the raiders that played that night. It would greatly be appreciated, thanks alot!!
OK, thanks alot. I mean i figured it would of been those two, but I do remember this guy with a kind of long hair surfer style underneath the helmet. Might of been gannon, i dont know really. he had this really long last name (not tuliassosopo). Okay, anyway thanks again for posting this video!!!
I see why some say he's not the best, but I think he is the best thats ever played, with or without stats, and watching this game....its like just watching the highlights, you really don't believe it ever happened, it seems impossible
and i find it funny that it takes brett favre's dad to die for the recievers to say "every ball in the air is ours" they are suppose to do that anyway, that's their job
yeah we see where all of your raider loving comments come into context.... retards.. Oakland sucks, at least show some respect to a great performance as the even the Oakland fans did at the end of the game
haha oakland pick favre off? yall cant fucking beat favre, actually...yall cant even beat any team. and lets say they do pick him off, NEVER will they make up for the humiliating night brett favre !!!!DESTROYED THEM!!!!!
Regardless my friend because the Black Hole, on that day in December of '03, was owned by Brett Favre and Oakland loved him for it. And do you know what, I have loved Oakland ever since because I respect their pure sincerity for the game. And, because you traded Charles Woodson to Green Bay. Our secondary is better than yours, all day long.
This is exactly why people like Favre so much. He has a very strong emotional connection to the game and that has resulted in some of the most amazing moments and plays the NFL has ever seen.
Hope he is starting QB this year. I think he realizes this is his last chance and hopefully he'll lead us to the Superbowl one last time.
i saw this game live. i was completely blown away. arguably one of the best single-game performances by any athlete in history, given the circumstances.
I have to say though... as great as Favre was that day... you have to give credit to his teammates too. They knew how much this meant to his family and him and they went out and took care of Favre. If they had not played their hearts out too, all Brett's hard work and great skills would have meant nothing. That is brotherhood.
This was a great performance by Favre. He could have easily missed this game following the death of his father. But he decided to play and make his Dad proud by the way he played.
The Packers need to take Favre back. I'm not even a Packer fan and I feel the Packers have to let Favre come back, even if he singlehandedly beats the Lions again twice.
Epic 90s legend and he pulled some amazing shit in that 09 season. Favre as a Cowboys fan, I love you.

SICK FUCK. and we all thought he was a clean image person. Favre Fucked up. Big Time.
Favre did NOT even deny it when asked about the "allegations" of texting naked pics of himself to another woman besides Brett's Wife.
Brett FUCKED UP. He's wife might leave him cause of this.
The questions that should be asked are this: How many other women have you done this to while married?
Why did you do it when your wife was sick?
Why Brett?

Are you seriously comparing a game this season to a game 7 years ago following his fathers death?
According to that logic let's look at Favre's Career vs the Raiders, the numbers speak for themselves.
How was last years game for you?
ihatevinniemac 3 years ago
yeah we see where all of your raider loving comments come into context.... retards.. Oakland sucks, at least show some respect to a great performance as the even the Oakland fans did at the end of the game

Regardless my friend because the Black Hole, on that day in December of '03, was owned by Brett Favre and Oakland loved him for it. And do you know what, I have loved Oakland ever since because I respect their pure sincerity for the game. And, because you traded Charles Woodson to Green Bay. Our secondary is better than yours, all day long.
swampdonkey5150 3 years ago
Without Woodson the Raiders were #1 in Pass Defense in 2006.
Nnamdi Asomugha.. anyday of the week.

look at Woodsons stats the last 2 years dumbass
StraightCash081 2 years ago
Yes, But Woodson was always injured. and was injured during this game..
Woodson was and still is great but I rather take the other shutdown corner from Oakland. Asomugha

Hahaha
Kinda sad when your whole organization is a mockery.
Cheating, loses, and how your coaching staff is, I'm pretty sure you have no room to talk.

That was an amazing game.

I have to say though... as great as Favre was that day... you have to give credit to his teammates too. They knew how much this meant to his family and him and they went out and took care of Favre. If they had not played their hearts out too, all Brett's hard work and great skills would have meant nothing. That is brotherhood.
faithgrace777 3 years ago 5
This was a great performance by Favre. He could have easily missed this game following the death of his father. But he decided to play and make his Dad proud by the way he played.
The Packers need to take Favre back. I'm not even a Packer fan and I feel the Packers have to let Favre come back, even if he singlehandedly beats the Lions again twice.
But hey! Everybody beats the Lions!

Come back, Brett! You are one in a million.

ya my dad went to this game and he sed even tho the raiders got their asses kicked it was awesome seeing brett favre do it

I remember this, this was legendary. You can never really have a Favre conversation without bringing this up. Go Pack.
