First time I've ever heard of this Flower Duet was on the movie soundtrack of The Hunger which was starred by Susan Sarandon, Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie. Yes, the pop singer. This Lakme's opera area is played on the background while this two modern female-vampire have a really hot scene. Never forgot that scene. It's a classic of mannerism in movie history
@BillyJoel62 I love that scene. I watch it at least once a month and the movie once a year. It changed my way of understanding cinema, and I think that scene influenced commercials to the point that still some perfume sketches are clearly inheriting the atmosphere and style of that scene.
