@omni1234567890 actually, the creators of Green Arrow said he's basically a Batman rip-off (although they put it much more sensitively than I did). For example, no gadgets, millionaire playboy industrialist secret identity, young sidekick / ward... Later writers changed him up a bit though, playing up the Robin Hood comparisons (originally it was just his costume) so he's now a cross between Robin Hood and Batman.

Two things about the epicness of green arrow:

+ He can slide by ropes with his bow in a manner that breaks the laws of physics... (take a look at this: 0:13)

+ He can shoot an arrow with no rope attached and later be pulled by the same arrow with a rope magically attached to it. (look 0:20)
