meh employers lack the ability to employ graduates these days, screw um I'll do it my self, I'm off to get a low pay job and I'll work my way up and start my own business.
Atleast you don't have difficulty getting into classes, the british system gives the student all the classes they need. In the united states they make you pay more fees but offer less classes.
@TENNSUMITSUMA No she's an idiot for not knowing what the hell she was talking about, at least he knew about the tuition protests and painted a more positive and truthful picture of it.
@TENNSUMITSUMA I didnt remove my comment i think someone else did, i'd have no reason for removing it as their was no insult in it so i havnt a clue why it was removed
@TENNSUMITSUMA Oh wait sorry yeah i did remove it i fuked up with loads of typoes it was unreadable but i re typed the comment strait after its just down below i just forgot to add your name thingy to the begining
Because when you dont know anything you blab loads of shit and look foolish in the eyes of those who actually know about what went on and to be honest she looked like a fool, and she needs to stop saying Dollars when talking about pounds regardless of whether it says dollars on the teleprompter im sure anyone who knows anything would realise what pounds are.
People that attend these expensive schools are paying for the name. I attended a public University and received an excellent education. However, it was still expensive and I am still paying for it. But Puryear was right, the alternative, only having a high school diploma, is not the best idea in a competitive economy/country.
England is the birth place of higher education.it was once free for all to take advantage of, then the government decided to charge for an education. (sick)its about recreating the class system the torys are all for the rich people in the uk and believe that only they should have the key to a better education. (simple facts). higher tuition fees effectivley snatch the chance of a brighter future from the average joe making it almost impossible to efford the repayments after there graduation.
I think we should subsidize the useful course but only subsidize a low number of less useful courses. I don't mind helping nurses and such but screw paying for some gimp to get pissed every night while doing a sociology degree.
Come on Americans you guys have the Second Amendment the right to bears arms, use it, imagine 50,000 Americans protesting with their guns maybe your government will start listening lol.
Here's the problem in the U.S. that makes people--and not only students---from "rocking the boat" too much. So, if you protest like these British students and get arrested. Suddenly you've got an arrest on your record. How does this affect when you apply for a job and the employer does a background check? Or maybe your credit report? Attorney's fees, bail, time sitting in jail and not attending classes---all are powerful incentives to keep the sheeple docile!
@jackcx32 So your saying were cowards for NOT wanting to get killed? I pity the British students cause they get a higher education and aren't credited for it but don't go calling us cowards because we have a different way of handling things in our Education system. Only reason we got it so good here in America is because we fought and worked really hard to make our stand. Were going through a bad time here but were gonna overcome like we always do, you should tell your government to take notes.
As long as you're qualified, education it is a RIGHT not a privilege for the few who can pay; universities should be free. Pass the exams? Good grades? You're in, no charge! You work hard, you should get in and be able to focus on studies not have to worry about paying for it...you earned it. Global economic problems my ass. Education is too important, we can find ways to fund it.
Some kids are not apathetic but are scared to death because here...the police will shoot you for holding a sign. But I don't care. I've been protesting for years. And i will NOT pay that much for university. So fucked up to expect us to pay so much.
God. I'm an American student and it's so true it's absurdly hard to rally ANYBODY at my university and our tuition is increasing by 25 percent (obviously not as much as the protestors in the UK's tuition is increasing- its tripling that's like OH MY GOD)...but i digress anyway its just a shame yeah over the years kids here have just become accustomed to getting screwed over by private entities/corporations/the government. its sad. but i care and am an activist! i work hard. there are some.
The usual Brit moaning and complaining. The UK will be a third world country within 25 years. They have no work ethic and think the Govt owes them a living.
@Buckskins3216 We pay for our education mate, it not just about the fees is more to do with the cuts. We are paying more money for a lower standard of education. And the current University Students who were protesting wont even be affected by the fee increase, so its not about the Govt owing us shit.
You obviously dont know anything about the issue, or about the UK..`No work ethic` what bullshit.
@Buckskins3216 the protests are the perfect example of a 'work ethic' students aren't just going to sit around and let the government take extra money for the education they have earnt, and i think that for everything the government does for itself eg. the Iraq war, it should do something socially eg. housing benefit, and if it cant do something for itself, it should only do the things for the people.
the reason why we complain about paying $14,000 compared to your high fees in america is because we have a population of 63 million, you have 300million+. you have easier access to money than we do. £10,000 to us in england is alot, $10,000 to you in the US is like pfft thats nothing. also your media just shoves a high stake NFL game on the tv and the whole nation just shuts the fuck up and forgets they are being screwed over.
Hold on in the UK universiy is free unless you earn over £20,000 a year. If you go to university and get a job earning under that then uni is free. no one pays untill they earn over 20,000 a year then its just 9 percent deducted per month. I go to uni in the UK I havent paid a penny yet I also get maintenance loan and grants worth £500 a month. I wont pay back a peny untill I earn over 20,000 :D and college is completly free

Wow Americans pay alot, I don't agree with the violence over here int eh student protests but i do agree with the revolt of the students! i'm from London I am already at university but I knew for sure that the students wouldnt take this injustice!!!
@DaveSquibbSr yea that's true the police in usa have guns so maybe it's more difficult for the students to protest in America. The British aren't known for being the best protesters though.... the French are usually the best and the Irish kick back more at government, the British are normally complacent n it's a cctv police state here too.... but it was good the British students had the courage to protest for a change.
The Brits haven't gone the way of thinking everything should be about business and profit the way Americans have. Back in the 60s, there were actually protests in the US over the increasing emphasis on making money in university education. Those concerns were ended by raising tuition so much starting in the 80s that students were forced into heavy debt that forced them to focus only on money instead of on broader learning.
She's talking as if she raised the money herself to go to college. Despite the recession, at the moment America is a much richer country than England. There is a massive job crisis, the only jobs you can get over here that could earn you enough to pay the tuition fees, you need qualifications for, you can only get such qualifications from college, what the fuck are we supposed to do? We don't have rich daddies to pay our way, you pain in the arse!
@tonylee1973 That's why our parents here in Europe pay TAXES so their children can have a free education. I guess you don't expect anything back for your taxes you already paid. But your government puts taxpayers money on stupidity, like: war costs, military costs, space rackets(which explode sometimes), moon travel, but not for cheap education.
@tonylee1973 At time of writing the air we breath is free. So you are wrong. Also when you realise that you pay 67% of your incomes in taxes both directly and indirectly, you should expect some return for that investment into your countries treasuries. When you wake up as a broken slave on the beach's your forefathers conquered, remember, you supported the processes that put you there by your lack of 'education'.' the land of the not free, and the home of the slaves', New anthem.
@sugarraygras 67 percent of income is not true. I pay about 32 percent of income to taxes(which is too much. Iwill never pay for breathing air. at that stage I will grab m AR _15 and hunt down memebers of the governemet, My hope is rand and ron paul. will eliminate taxes. My education is reasonably good. ( a JD) I currently pranctice bankruptcy which is profitable.(sadly)Things are going well. But if someone tries to tax the air I breathe I will grab my AR and M-$ and refresh the tree of liberty.
@tonylee1973 Wthout getting too deep and boring, the 67% approx donation you make to your countries treasury is baesd on the fact 67% of every dollar or pound in circulation ends up back into the governments coffers. So you era thus taxes by that amount. Just for comparison the average medieval peasant was only tax by one sack in three by the local protection racketeer (Lord). Education is a vital aspect of civilisation which benefits by it. The American model helps perpetuates inequalities.
@Groudie101 are you for real??? this is only part of what the government is doing, they are squeezing the wealth out of us, they are taking away free speech, they made this eccenomic collapse same in u.s and other countrys too, wake up dumb dick, living comfortable are you?? shame on you!! go be part of the n.w.o you nazi fascist!!
What else do you expect? The modern Britain has been brought up with the idea that it's their "human right" to have almost everything free or next to free. You want free health-care,free this, free that.Your government is going to run out of money eventually. This is what the rest of us have to pay ALL ALONG so grow up and get over it! and no! I am not America!
she doesn't realise that american graduates make huge amounts of money, whereas UK graduates are lucky to find a job.
furthermore, she doesn't realise that US unversities have a huge bursary system for poorer students, which is much better than that which exists in the UK.
also, loans are more easily accessible in the US to cover fees. in the UK, there are many students who are not allowed to have a loan, and need to pay their fees upfront.
She has a job, and she has money. She doesnt understand that most of these students struggle to afford the £3000 a year fees, so £9000 a year will completley diminish their chance of continuing with uni.
Lets see what after and the fires broken windows damage to shops and most of all the biggest crazy thing attack the future king of englands car and all for what ? just another lame excuse to cause £1000,s of damage do you think it will change anything answer is no today london is back to normal now you little cry babys have gone home tis country owes you nothing and never will university is a privlidge not a given right!
lol @ americans.....but to be fair they pay 20 to 40,000 a year...UK pay 3,000 a year and it may become 6,000.......so they dont have much of a right to complain!
Many more people go to Uni in US because they have next to no benefitsocial care system lol
D'aww someone sounds slightly bitter about not taking up a uni education, you answered your own question with the example of your girlfriend, uni education is subsidized so students aren't forced to suffer for want of a high-level education.
Anyone else noticed that it's only people who didn't opt for university are the ones with the real problems with subsidization?
You've come from a time when you had a lot more options outside uni, why should uni educations be only for th
What a dumb reporter. Cute but dumb. Yes ...fees are higher in the states but things are cheaper and waaaaay less tax on goods and services. Tax on money borrowed is high too. Plus the fact America is CAPITLIST. In the UK we have a completely different economy to a CAPITALIST one. Duh!!! Not the only thick american reporter I've seen on YT!! They are much cuter than the English female reporters thou!
@ggctuk2005 No, no, i never said i think violence is good, i said and meant exactly what i wrote, you first wrote that 'these' are terrorists without specifying that yu meant only those tearing up stuff, so it read like another bulk ignorant sheep comment (if yu know what i mean) so i said what i said, i didn't even call yu stupid, and yeah the media is fond of using the violent scenes to bash any and all system opposers - just hear what this girl opens with
@ggctuk2005 and do i agree with the violence? i'm not sure if i understand what yuv now said. I firmly insult your opinion, not you, and it is an attempt to change your mind and prevent others from thinking stupid things
Hmm well Americans have really lost that fire for change.. not like the 1970's but then again America was engaged in the Vietnam war then..
Now Americans are so self deluded they only hear things which reinforces their own preconceived ideals, never straying outside of their comfort zones.. Intellectual cowardice of the highest order..
Well doesn't help being near dead last in math, science and literary compared to the rest of the world.. you can only leech of the past for so long..
There will be a demo on Tue 7th Dec at Luton station in support for Anthony J Hill who is the producer of 7/7 Ripple Effect who is facing life in prison for posting DVD's to the judge and foreman of the jury as an Amicus Curiae (friend of the court) to show the accused as being innocent. Please watch the film (it's on YouTube) and turn up to show support, people are asked to bring leaflets, megaphones and copies of 7/7 Ripple Effect to hand out and please pass this on.
@ailingequation You're not you stupid bastard. We're paying for it with a life time of tax and vat. We want future generations to have the chance to go to university because, unlike you, our priorities aren't limited just to ourselves, we aren't scared to fork out for our children. It's pricks like you that drag society town. Probably a fucking tory. Shame on you. Coward.
@ailingequation oh fuck off you stupid cunt. Why should we have to miss out on our education to pay off your generations fucking debt? Why should we have to work each evening and all summer, you're supposed to be supporting the youth, your children and providing the absolute best you possibly can for them. Not shitting on them and making things as hard as possible. You're clearly broken with a fucking chip on your shoulder.
@ggctuk2005 you ought to be inocent to think that crap yu just blurted; in gatherings like these it's always a few angry shitsos who start braking things about, and in countries like yours it is most accustomed to put those attractive images on news broadcasts; if half of those ~50 000 had been agressive no police would've succeeded at curbing them!
student, school children, parents, people on the dole,it is our time to fight against these blue blooded tyranny making our sons and daughters slaves by denying us education so their blue blooded kids can rule over us so we stay under soles of their shoes and be slaves till 70 years old when we die from diseases and E numbers they put in our food and fluoride in our water to block our brain cells and makes us thicker to take us to mass slavery and take our houses from us to pay for our care.
U UK PEASANT SERF SUCKERS ROTHSCHILD increases Tuition To pay for a $40,000,000.00 WEDDING, MILLIONs ??? WTF ??? They have the most gracious properties on Earth, FREE location Over Abundance of Butlers Maids Cooks ETC on staff, WHY pay $40.000.000.00 for aFLOUR, LARD Cake With that staff? FORCING the SERFS to PAY TUITIONS? Always The Big Answer SOCIALISM FALLING in UK
Pop of 62,000,000 @ 40MIL they could give every person IN UK $775,000.00
Verses Peasants paying $775,000.00 ea WAKE UP U UK
I don't think that this kind of school fees hike could ever happen in France! The right-wing government in the UK is showing who it is working for: the banks. This is the type of system of education that is putting millions of students in deep debt here in the US.
Wait a minute? you mean the tripling of education fees provokes 52,000 people to take to the streets of London (alone) yet we see a luke warm response to the billions being syphoned every year by private cartels?
They make it sound like there is nothing wrong with charging so much for education. It should not be like an exclusive club where only a few people can go, it should be available to everyone. Now people are graduating with like an 80k debt they will be lucky to get a job flipin' burgers at a local McDonalds.
@ReishaDoll That's because here in America IGNORANCE is cherished like a cloak of honor amongst many. Education and intelligence makes you an "Elite". Just look at Palin as a prime example. Until we move beyond the ignorance, accept one another equally, and show a proper aversion to violence, racism, and neo-conservatism, like many in Europe, we will continue to fall behind compared to the rest of the world.
@ReishaDoll I agree to a certain extent but I do believe you are over simplifying the issue. The main reason Europeans is more active is because they are much more socialist than Americans. The students there are literally attempting to STEAL "free education" from their neighbors taxes. That is the socialist way. Americans are not as socialist, thankfully.
Not only will they arrest you in the USA for protesting, but they will also beat you with sticks, pepper spray you, and sometimes blast you with a fire hose. It's very entertaining to watch. It's also a little funny.
It's very interesting/pathetic that liberals only blame Republicans for everything. They don't ever challenge those OVERPAID professors and college administrators.
I'm from the UK and was at that protest. There isn't a lot of activism here in the UK for our young generation. People have the mentality that 'I can't do anything' , but Wednesday was something that showed to everyone that we do have power and we can make a difference.
@TomPatCat With all due respect, we shall see what difference you will be making. You vote the fuckers in and they take office and dick you up the ass, it's every country, not only your own. Took me 10 years to pay my college tuition back, 10 fucking years with constant threats to my credit if I didn't pay on time. It blows but all governments are the same and they are all going to dick you.
The only difference now is that Churchill's statue has piss all over it, Prince Charles' car has paint all over it and the streets have broken glass and riot-horse shit all over them. I am returning to university in september and don't mind paying for my education instead of the working class taxpayer (who will statistically earn less than me in a few years) paying for it.
@cmillerpa33 Unfortunately not, but the struggle will continue. More protests are planned this month and in March. Such a shame that they passed it through parliament. Only marginally though. Hopefully the coalition will collapse within the next two years.
@TomPatCat I really hope this goes in the direction of the protesters. Perhaps it will be a lesson to all people in democratic nations that protest can work. Perhaps then we will see the American people protesting the things our government is doing that we do not agree with. Good luck to the people of the UK. May your point be taken, and your gov. represent you.
If anything it is better to be poor in america then it is actually have money in america and ill explain why my friends got 3 thousand dollars from the government through the fasa program for school i get absolutely nothing and I am not rich by any means. But what is considered to be "rich" in the government is never actually being "rich" in reality. what are they teaching you stay at the bottom and we will give you stuff. Btw she went on a shopping spree with the money..look it up
check out a video titled "OFFICER BEATS DEFENSELESS STUDENT" then tell me the media shows the full story. i filmed it, i witnessed the whole thing, yet the guardian newspaper don't think it is newsworthy, after showing them the footage. please send the video to as many people as possible. if the students have to pay for the damage caused, then the officer too should pay for his crimes

@TheLongfords maybe you should take comment of yours and go tell it to the black and the Muslim community, lets see how big and hard you will feel then. sitting behind a keyboard and trolling racist comments only goes to show the rest of the world how ignorant you are. Oh, and did you forget how easy it is to trace the home address of a you tube users account? bare that in mind the next time you open your big mouth
The equivalent of this riot in the USA, would be if students stormed Republican or Democrat HQ.
Would they get that far?
Or would the police use firearms against anyone who attempted to enter the building after being warned?
How many casualties would there be?
I'm pleased nobody got seriously hurt in this protest. I think that's down to the gunless UK culture - a culture which means no police officer is given firearms in such circumstances.
@jazzx251 That kind of government which uses firerearms or violence agains own coutry students will very soon lose it´s power and responsible members of government and police are soon in jail and discharged in Europe. People would practically hang that kind of government. It is only a building, the HQ of Tory party only. Besides Torys got just what they asked and deserved. Damages are easy to repair but voters and people commonly would never forgive police violence against students in Europe
Nobody died. The worst incident was a fire extinguisher being thrown off the roof ... and it missed!
Very British.
No guns involved. Not even the riot police. [although I bet there were secret service snipers around, just in case an Islamic extremist took advantage.]
@jazzx251 guns wtf do you need guns for its a fucking protest not a revolution ffs you are so dumb go back to your video games you pot head and the fire extinguisher hit a police officer he was taken to hospital it was on the bbc.
Goal: Less education = dumber people = people can’t find out for themselves anymore and have to resort to trusting the ones who sound most sure of themselves = the loud and very sure of themselves media and politicians tell them what they should think to gain power and wealth = people become even more like cattle.
The goal is to degrade people to a lower class, and milk them dry. Back to before democracy, where landlords, kings and churches controlled the people.
I love how every country enjoys gagging up on the U.S. via the internet. You are not any better then anyone in the U.S. and you are not smarter. It is evident by looking at the way you protest and looking at the way we protest.
Perhaps there aren't so many marxist in US colleges. The nasty, vicious rioters appear to be marxists and far left socialists.
These idiots and thugs throwing fire extinguishers and huge stones from the Tory HQ roof down onto police officers and people on the ground are nothing to emulate. They are dross and I hope the thugs who threw those objects are charged with attempted murder. From the height the objects were thrown, they would have killed anybody if they had landed on them.
@covnanny Take your BLINDERS off dude! Has stated, only a small group, small hand-full, of the 52,000 protesters were violent. Trust me, if all 52,000 were violent London would be burning tonight.
@covnanny englands students are some of the calmest most relaxed poeple in the country. 200-2,000 poeple attacked the tower. 50,000 other protesters were peaceful. the reality is that It is impossible to get ANY job in the UK without a degree, I am having to scrimp and save and do odd jobs just to eat, I have to live with my parents because i can't afford a house or accomidation, we can't afford to pay for university anymore.
We have flouride in our water too in the UK and we usually are apathetic but there are not enough jobs to go around so for every 5 people who can't go uni and have to get a job straight away only 1 will suceed. The other 4 under new rules may have to undertake 30hrs maunual labour in return for british social security/our food stamps if they're unlucky enough not to find a job for a while. Also already normal here to graduate only to work in a supermarket/department store or earn around £6ph!!!
We have here in Finalnd and in Scandinavia connmonly cost free education system the colleges and universities included. All schools are by state/local government owned. Here state even pays for students (a student salary) during their stydy time and gives rent supported student apartment. Our education system was rated the best and most high quality in the world by PISA (International world wide education research). All citizens of Finland has too equal rights to high quality public health care.
@GBOY69GAY What is the difference...it would be a shame if you pampered Euros ever had to WORK for anything. You are part of the government system as well. Is some of that Aryan genetic disposition rearing it's ugly head?
US students are apathetic and the people in the USA are apathetic fat idiots and slaves of the capitalist business elite of the USA, many of them jews and the jew bankers of New York. People in the USA are so stupid undereducated and brainwashed by the USA`s by jews owned media/press/TV and jew Hollywood. The political leaders of the USA are corrupted and whole system is a travesty of democracy with undemocratic two party system and majority elections. Whole private school system is rotten.
I find it rather amusing that it's ONLY those who have never been to uni make such stupid comments such as yours. It amazes me how because you haven't been you have to fool yourself into pretending you're better off without one.
practice useless garbage?. . Oh you mean that stuff that MAKES THE WORLD RUN!!
Scientists, teachers, doctors, ALL IMPOSSIBLE without university. . . You want to test it out?. . . Okay next time you go to hospital for surgery ask for the guy who studied the wikipedia entry on how to do the surgery.
@manhunt48 Come on just see on your right hand screen you will see an RT clip titled "G20 Sets up NWO." You will see how corrupt our worldwide education system really is.
You most certainly can learn on your own and teachers are not necessary. Self-learning begins when you are born, not when you go to school. As far as medicine and subfields of science go, it is possible tobecome experts in those fields without having to step foot in a university. For example, you can learn all the subjects on medicine, and then volunteer at some medical practice for free(non-monetarily) in exchange for a doctor teaching you how to properly practiced medicine.same goes for science
Again do what I told the other idiot to do "next time you go to hospital for surgery ask for the guy who studied the wikipedia entry on how to do the surgery." . . . It's that simple. . . Whenever you want anything done, get the one who doesn't have an university education. . . Let's see how far it gets you.
For god sake, are you really this stupid?. . . Again Rad what i fucking say, , , I USED IT AS AN EXAMPLE!!!. . . What is so hard to understand about this?
I have no need to refute anything you've said because you've said nothing. . . I haven't disagreed that you can't learn alot of things without teachers. you're just strawmaning me.
Now go learn what an ad-hominen actually is. . . Because you have no clue.
An ad-hominen is an insult IN PLACE of an argument. . . That is not what i did, You completely ignored what i said (<-- argument) Therefore you are a dishonest fuck.
Just look at the way you've acted, strawmanning, ignoring things which are said and making accusations of ad-hominen's when it's clearly not. If you're a example of a non uni education then I think i've made my point.
This student is clueless. Why is it a 'great thing' that a bunch of lowlife, layabout students smashed up Conservative Party HQ? Normal working people watching this on their TVs thought one thing: what a bunch of tosspots. Our country doesn't need a plethora of mediocre students with degrees in English from Hull; perhaps these reforms will necessitate another one in education proper.
The corrupt mainstream media machine shines the spotlight on the thug minority to distract attention from the majority of legit peaceful protesters with a real point to make.
It’s a tried & tested Intel infiltration op on the part of intel agencies to de-legitemise any justified argument. Then the media can plug the thug student angle & turn the public opinion against them.
It’s always the same, send in the undercover troops to smash a shop window with the camera man ready to film it for news.

Attorney's fees, bail, time sitting in jail and not attending classes---all are powerful incentives to keep the sheeple docile!

I would argue that a degree means more in America than in England, and so that's part of why UK citizens feel so outraged i.e. is it worth it?

So fucked up to expect us to pay so much.
yoginipeacelove 10 months ago
God. I'm an American student and it's so true it's absurdly hard to rally ANYBODY at my university and our tuition is increasing by 25 percent (obviously not as much as the protestors in the UK's tuition is increasing- its tripling that's like OH MY GOD)...but i digress anyway its just a shame yeah over the years kids here have just become accustomed to getting screwed over by private entities/corporations/the government. its sad. but i care and am an activist! i work hard. there are some.
yoginipeacelove 10 months ago
The usual Brit moaning and complaining. The UK will be a third world country within 25 years. They have no work ethic and think the Govt owes them a living.
Buckskins3216 11 months ago
@Buckskins3216 We pay for our education mate, it not just about the fees is more to do with the cuts. We are paying more money for a lower standard of education. And the current University Students who were protesting wont even be affected by the fee increase, so its not about the Govt owing us shit.
You obviously dont know anything about the issue, or about the UK..`No work ethic` what bullshit.
EbsNhexz 10 months ago
@Buckskins3216 the protests are the perfect example of a 'work ethic' students aren't just going to sit around and let the government take extra money for the education they have earnt, and i think that for everything the government does for itself eg. the Iraq war, it should do something socially eg. housing benefit, and if it cant do something for itself, it should only do the things for the people.
VirOfCausa1 10 months ago
the reason why we complain about paying $14,000 compared to your high fees in america is because we have a population of 63 million, you have 300million+. you have easier access to money than we do.

@DaveSquibbSr yea that's true the police in usa have guns so maybe it's more difficult for the students to protest in America. The British aren't known for being the best protesters though.... the French are usually the best and the Irish kick back more at government, the British are normally complacent n it's a cctv police state here too.... but it was good the British students had the courage to protest for a change.
scarletjamable 1 year ago
The Brits haven't gone the way of thinking everything should be about business and profit the way Americans have. Back in the 60s, there were actually protests in the US over the increasing emphasis on making money in university education. Those concerns were ended by raising tuition so much starting in the 80s that students were forced into heavy debt that forced them to focus only on money instead of on broader learning.

My education is reasonably good. tonylee1973 1 year ago
The American model helps perpetuates inequalities.

furthermore, she doesn't realise that US unversities have a huge bursary system for poorer students, which is much better than that which exists in the UK.

Would they get that far?
Or would the police use firearms against anyone who attempted to enter the building after being warned?
How many casualties would there be?

The goal is to degrade people to a lower class, and milk them dry. Back to before democracy, where landlords, kings and churches controlled the people.

50,000 just for a year of uni in the US? I mean for a year just for the course, not the living costs and etc?
ItsOver9000and10 1 year ago
I cant believe so many young people are fooled and brainwashed that a college degree gives them financial sucess.
As an 18 year old, I learn more form Peter Schiff and Robert Kiyosaki.
Some income goes into investments (silver) and then the profits goes into MORE investments. I grow and all the other fools in college debt sink.
One of the best cycles ever told!

I find it rather amusing that it's ONLY those who have never been to uni make such stupid comments such as yours. It amazes me how because you haven't been you have to fool yourself into pretending you're better off without one.
Sorry but it's not the case.

@manhunt48 Oh really and what should I do.. get into debt and practice some useless garbage? You are the kinds of people that spread myths.
Cyrus992 1 year ago
@Cyrus992
practice useless garbage?. . Oh you mean that stuff that MAKES THE WORLD RUN!!
Scientists, teachers, doctors, ALL IMPOSSIBLE without university. . . You want to test it out?. . . Okay next time you go to hospital for surgery ask for the guy who studied the wikipedia entry on how to do the surgery.
manhunt48 1 year ago 9
@manhunt48 okay.. well here is one example.
On your right hand screen you will see an RT clip titled "G20 Sets up NWO." You will see how corrupt our worldwide education system really is.

How about respond to my actual point instead of ignoring it and starting on bullshit conspiracy theories you disingenuous son of a bitch.

@manhunt48 Come on just see on your right hand screen you will see an RT clip titled "G20 Sets up NWO." You will see how corrupt our worldwide education system really is.
Then we will go to your point. One by one.
Cyrus992 1 year ago
You most certainly can learn on your own and teachers are not necessary. Self-learning begins when you are born, not when you go to school. As far as medicine and subfields of science go, it is possible tobecome experts in those fields without having to step foot in a university. For example, you can learn all the subjects on medicine, and then volunteer at some medical practice for free(non-monetarily) in exchange for a doctor teaching you how to properly practiced medicine.same goes for science
Pentazoid111 1 year ago
@Pentazoid111
Again do what I told the other idiot to do "next time you go to hospital for surgery ask for the guy who studied the wikipedia entry on how to do the surgery." . . . It's that simple. . . Whenever you want anything done, get the one who doesn't have an university education. . . Let's see how far it gets you.
Tip: You'll get nowhere.
manhunt48 1 year ago
Where in my comment did I say that you can learn you all need to learn about medicine on wikipedia?
Pentazoid111 1 year ago
@Pentazoid111 . . . Way to completely ignore the point of my comment you dishonest fuck, that was just an example.
manhunt48 1 year ago
Don't get upset because you wrongfully accused me of saying that I get all knowledge of medicine on wikipedia.
Pentazoid111 1 year ago
@Pentazoid111
For god sake, are you really this stupid?. . . Again Rad what i fucking say, , , I USED IT AS AN EXAMPLE!!!. . . What is so hard to understand about this?
I have no need to refute anything you've said because you've said nothing. . . I haven't disagreed that you can't learn alot of things without teachers. you're just strawmaning me.
manhunt48 1 year ago
how about leaving out the ad-hominen attacks and actually try REFUTING my arguments.
Pentazoid111 1 year ago
@Pentazoid111
P.s.
If you're a example of a non uni education then I think i've made my point.
manhunt48 1 year ago
RT calls it apathy.... I call it using all our available sources, and then when we are put in a corner......

Actually, normal Britons think these students are a bunch of cunts.
