My suggestion was to raise the speed limit for 18 wheelers to 70 in California instead of 55. Any driver paid by the mile would get an instant raise yielding more tax revenue from higher wages. 50 cents a mile x 15 mph= $7.50 an hour raise for every big truck in California. There's hundreds of thousands of trucks hauling freight in California. Then they can recycle the old aluminum signs for scrap!
