  • scott rush looks like a herion junkie

  • It real does my guts in to see that these are such normal people that simply slipped up. If i had my way I would release them but it just doesn't work like that

  • Say what you want about Kerobokan being a "hell hole", I did 6 months in MCAC, 401 East Madison St. Baltimore, MD. Kerobokan looks like a 5 star resort compared to that place. I was locked in a concrete box about the size of a small bathroom. Much of the time there was no mat, no blanket, no chair. Just a slab of concrete and a toilet, often with leg irons and handcuffs.

  • I believe in capital punishment... George Bush and Dick Cheney should be the first two...

  • That's funny. these prisoners are getting much better treatment, and freedom than prisoners in american, and western prisons.

  • Scott Rush looks like such a pussy

  • I hope to god the president grants them clemency...!

  • I'm from Finland... If you _murder_ somebody and you are first timer you get only 5-6 years of prison.. in Indonesia the penalties for drug trafficing are nuts.. I hope higher penalties to Finland and lower to Indonesia!

  • We need to go much higher up. These people are deliberatly set up! Try the governments. America would be a good place to start. Unfortunatley the rulers of this present age are hell bend on destorying people, and that seat is in the States. Under the pretence of peace and helping out the poorer nations (that they made poor with their huge unstainable consumption (that they of course create for their country)). in order to rob other countries.

  • If I had my way? I'd bomb the damn country they are in but only to kill the damn politicians, corrupt government employees, and get them the fuck out of there.

The men who keep them in jail I hope burn in hell, if the VX Nerve Gas doesnt get them first.

  • Don't go to Indonesia if you want to deal drugs. Unlike your weak "western" laws in Australia against drugs Indonesians take it seriously.

  • help them some1

  • They would've gotten away with it if Scott Rush's dad didn't rat them out.

  • these guys messed up, but at the end of the day- theyre such small fry. the real guys that need to die are the bosses who organise the shit in asia and australia. Calling these guys kingpins and godfathers is comical, theyre just kids. The guy asked what does the mother of a 16 year old think when she sees these guys, well these guys were those 16 year old kids trying drugs, and the 16 year old kid who dabbles could easily be these guys one day. the cycle has to stop- but not with these guys

  • let them live. life in jail is worse.

  • Drugs should be legal anyway. Fuck humanity.

  • Dont do the crime if you cant do the time

  • Poor young idiots. These two guys especially were demonized and made out to be ringleaders and kingpins, it's almost strange to see how they are just normal young aussies that made really dumb decisions.

I don't want them to be executed, but they knew the risks and that's all there is to it.

For a country to fight drug smuggling, it HAS to take a hard line, and if you cross it, then you've ignored every chance given to you. It's not about the country being civilized or not

  • @FarrelNZ I have to agree with you..

  • @FarrelNZ your wrong, because there westerners it becomes a high profile court case. u think if they were balinese they wud have held them for this long? ahhh no. everyones getting there cut of money from the bali nines family.

  • "that I didn't know -- I didn't know where it was going...yeah I did have a role in it, I did some stupid things in my life, just like every other person who did some silly things in their life..." Silly? Last time I check selling death to children isn't exactly silly. Sure everyone makes mistakes, some are punishable by death for a reason. Because the criminal willingly, willfully ruin the life of many many others, just for a quick buck.

  • @thisdress you are so right...

  • Comment removed

  • @FunnnyKunt if i had my way, I would send this bunch of losers to school and provide them with proper educations. They knew what they were doing and the consequences of their actions. If you cant afford to take the risk, then dont do crimes. Take no offence mate, as an Aussie, we have an obligation to protect the lives of those who could be ruined by the drugs that they were about to traffic into Australia. I personally concern more about the future of our kids in Australia.

  • @sweetserenityau very true!!! Read the statement on your customs card before entering some Asian countries. It states "Death To Drug Traffickers" These people made the choice to do what they did and they were not framed. Dont deal with drugs in Asia countries, simple as that.

  • They knew the risks, ping them I say.

  • idiots like these 2 men are everywhere. but to give them death by firing squad for smuggling drugs is not right. they did it for money and they should spend time in jail for a long time but not shot. and for the people who are saying they deserve it you should be ashamed of your self. people who commit the same crime in other countries get 5 to 10 years and come out and do the same shit over and over agian. these two men seem rehabillitated and they deserve a 2n chance in life.

  • Norway: DIRECTLY plan and kill 73 people in cold blood gets you 21 years maximum.

Indonesia: Drug smuggling equals death sentence.

    Which country is more "civilized"?

Drug smugglers should be punish severely, even life in jail, but the death penalty?

  • Looks like the two leaders will get what they fully deserve.

  • whatever the debate here , either they live or die, these men shouldn't die. we are all given the right to live and noone, but God, can take a person's life. yes they could've destroyed many lives if those drugs made it through to Australia, but then again it comes down to choices. the choice of drug use & destroy their lives or not. these men made a wrong decision, but that shouldn't be a reason to take their lives and take away their right tol ive .let them live. dn't take their right to live

  • @Coolybanana Yes man, you are totally right.. i feel so sorry for those guys... they were stupid but they dont deserve this.. i hope so fucking much that they dont get killed. peace man

  • @ma9ky You have some bastards who bomb and maime 100's of innocent people. their punishment = death.

on the other hand you have these morons who obviously has no clue about smuggling drugs and get caught. their punishment = death. in all honesty i don't see a comparison in crimes of the mass murder of Bali bombers and these idiotic individuals, for their penalty to be the same magnitude.

  • @mewan1980 the only reason their penalty is the same magnitude is because there's not really any higher punishment. definetly those who killed others, the bombers, deserved that penalty, and in my opinion some of these guys deserved it. sure, they seem sorry about doing it and know they were wrong but they made the mistake and knew what they were doing. what else can the punishment be, higher for the bombers (what then?) or less for these smugglers?

  • you play,you pay

  • STOP THIS FUCKING DEATH SENTENCES.....FORGIVENESS IS A BETTER PUNISHMENT TO THE HUMANITY

  • @Maxsarkar 8 KG OF HEROINE BROTHER.IT'S 8 KG.HOW MANY FAMILY WOULD BE DESTROYED FROM THAT.WE DONT WANNA KEEP THIS MEN IN OUR JAIL,N STILL FEED THEM.

  • @joker1111ism

That does not mean that they has to be killed, they have been correctioned now it is the time to set them free. Look carefully what the jailor said about their recent attitude. Jalior is the right persob who can comment about the penalty, and he appealed to the judges to withdraw death sentence.

  • set them free?u mean by let them go back to australia?example...if the govt set them free.n then someday, other people do the same things like what these guys did.what kind of punishment they should get?

  • @joker1111ism

That does not mean that some one will do or not do, if they are set free.

  • @Maxsarkar look, the law is published.it's written in indonesia airport.smuggling drugs will face death penalty.they took a risk by doing this.it doesnt matter they need money or whatever.i need money too,n its urgent.but i will not risk my life to do this.

  • @joker1111ism

THAT IS WHY I HAD SAID STOP DEATH PENALTY, THANKS FOR SUPPORTING ME.

  • @joker1111ism They didnt tell anyone to take drugs.. its your own choice to take drugs or not. Their were just bringin it in to australia and sell it to the peaple who wanted to buy it

  • @ma9ky ok..we dont have to debate about this anymore,it's the law n it's not going to change..

  • What an inspirational story, this is the proof that change is possible. They made a bad choice and they own that, they have now turned that all around!! May God Bless these two men and give them the gift of a long life! Also to all the negative comments on this, 'make sure your hands are clean before you point the finger'

  • They knew about the death penalty, yet did it anyway. I have no sympathy for these clowns. If they would've gotten away with it, they would've come right back and did it again for another "payday". I do feel for their families, though.

Whether you're in favor of the death penalty or not is irrelevant. They knew the risks, took it, and got caught. I could honestly care less what their outcome is.

  • @doughorne370

    Bloody fucker heartless. monster...

  • @Maxsarkar

Yeah, those bastards that tried to smuggle the drugs, knowing what the penalties were, and without any regard to how the drugs would be used by (and potentially kill) addicts truly are Bloody fuckers, and monsters. You got that right. Thanks for reiterating.

  • @doughorne370

If they smuggle drugs that does not mean they has to be kiiled by the state in a dramatic way. Poepel do crime due to circumstances, no one is above than that , from President to common people. State cannot kill its objects and they have never killed a many a people. Thay are also constructive and remoprseful for their past deeds. You and your country is still in 18th century that is why you and your Govt. do this practice. Wheather 180 countries have abolished this sentence

  • @Maxsarkar

My country? Wow, so you know where I live? Amazing. What else do you know about me?

So, your excuse for them is "circumstances". Hmmmm...I don't seem to recall them saying anything about smuggling drugs to feed their families, etc. I DO remember talk about "payday" and "flashy cars", though. Might that be the "circumstances" that you're referring to? Nonsense reasoning. Different countries have different laws. Abide by them or suffer the consequences. Plan and simple.

  • @doughorne37

He has not said he had a flashy car, what he said that he he used to dream. He used to work in a factroy but had not good money for a flashey car. So who is the perpetrator? To me it is the bastard capitalist socety which make us rich and poor . And then some poor people gets tempted to seer rich's wealth....

You had no human concsience or did not see the whole facts, the Jailor is saying they are correctioned and it will be bad for the soceity to kill two young promosing men.

  • @Maxsarkar

Ohhhh, okay. So, you're not a fan of accountability, huh? You don't believe in being responsible for your own actions, and it's always somebody else's fault? Ridiculous. There's no point in continuing this discussion with someone like you who has an excuse for everything. It's absurd that you place the blame on these idiots who willfully and knowingly smuggled drugs, ignoring the possible consequences. Justice will be served. They may live, they may not. I could care less.

  • @doughorne370

Justice??? for the victim of the circumstances...you too do jot have enogh knowledge of political science, " A state cannot kill its sublects" Your 18th centuty's menatility is not nothing productibe i 21th cwntury. Secondlly, what you are saying justice, that is not a justice, that is a brutal revenge..which is non productive and death penalty never eliminated the crime from the society, it just an another crime, a henious cmire for a crime.

  • chan and sukumarran were the ring leaders, the others were mules,,chan and sukumarran would have happily flooded australia with drugs if they had got away with it..sukumarran is an immigrant from india, and chose to flood his host country with drugs by way of repayment.i have no sympathy for him

  • Killing people for killing people DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! It's illogical, and it is a thing that only a person letting their Limbic System take them over would do, not a logical thinking person. BIG DIFFERENCE!

  • I look forward to hearing about their final moments as they’re lead of to some secluded beach. It will be a fair ending to 9 cunts that couldn't care a less about the laws of any land or the health of children. They might be missed by the parents who failed miserable in bringing them up but they will be no loss. I have no doubt the Good Indonesian and Australian governments will remain strong and allow us to bid Good riddens to nine piles of human shit.

  • @BradMilne101 I just watched this so I wanted to read the comments of other people, but after reading the response from u I felt sick! Did u even watch this? How cold can u be to feel the way u do about these guys? Christ, r u serious dude? They know what they did was wrong and they're not asking to go home, they only hope to LIVE in prison the rest of their lives! People make big mistakes, however, what they did DOESN'T deserve the death penalty. That goes to murderers not to the boys I just saw!!

  • @Madison3201 - You can eat shit and die too for all I care you bleeding heart cunt. Hopefully one of your kids will end up a junkie.

  • @BradMilne101 Wow, u use some strong words there dude! I feel for u though cause it must suck so bad going through life filled with all that hate. Peace Out

  • @BradMilne101 This is such a disturbed person. Looking forward to hearing about their final moments? It's one thing if you think they did wrong and should be punished but seriously, why would anyone who's not a sociopath get pleasure from hearing details of how another human being is killed? Do you jerk off to snuff films by any chance?

  • what a masterful piece of work. many kudos to journeyman pictures for

their brilliant material. i wonder how that barbecue-honey-mustard taste.

  • Mercy But they did need to get caught.. . to wake them up. I hope they get out and make something of their lives.

  • the middle easten muslims on youtube say your not a true muslims .. they say your from bad thinking .. i think you should go to war with them in the name of allah

  • @ratrodralphy ? a muslim? whats Mercy got to do with religion?

  • @velvetnotes009

Its not the drug dealers who cause problems, it's the people who willingly take the damn drug. No one is forcing your arm to get you hooked! don't blame your addiction on traffickers!

  • @ElleCM2 ? or unwilling. Its a known fact the governments of the world deliberatly put drugs in poor neighbourhoods so that the people get hooked and hopefully for them kill each other. Its called the NWO.

It is not necessary to be so rude!

  • @ElleCM2 correct

  • you play you pay

  • media ausie moron...how about fisherman from indonesia who lost at aussie...your media write them like horrible criminal

  • who had a child die from drugs??

  • @ad1665 yes cause Bali is a country inyour world right? Sigh crckheds

  • Sorry guys, but most of you are full of crap, death penalty should be given to the ORGANIZERS of drug trade, not to minnows. There will always be junkies willing to earn a quick buck, so killing them will change nothing.

  • @versuskn - I totally agree - it's the ORGANIZERS and DISTRIBUTORS who plan it all and profit hugely off it that are the ones who should get the death penalty - without them there would not be any of these 'mules' as there would be no drugs to carry in the first place. These guys here in prison are right at the bottom of the 'food chain' and killing them amounts to nothing more than using 'fly-spray'

  • what is the name of the bratty aussie girl's whose been in jail for 7 years in Indonesia ? I can't believe they haven't capped her head, she had like 300g of heroin

  • they shoud and must live

  • dam i hate death penalty for anything but for drugs defenetly they shod be LEGAL to some point to avoid unnececary deaths

  • @MagicDust03 u re too kind my man....open ur eyess....

  • @MagicDust03 it's an organization of crime.more like a gangster.if they're good people.they wouldnt deal with drugs.

  • justice is about rehabilitation, looking at these men you can tell they will never commit these crimes again. So what is the point of these sentences.

  • confused? U were damn confused well before you set foot in Indonesia, sukamaran...

  • well, they're faring much better than the smugglers in Mexico who get beheaded, quartered and strung up in the city square...

  • You do the crime, pay the time!

  • does any1 no the final outcome or is it undecided and still ongoing? thanks

  • the prison governer showed mercy what a nice man its a shame they wernt all like him

  • The Indonesion Gov are right in what they are doing in the case of drug runners.

They are the dregs of society and want to make a fast huge buck at the expense of the addict on the street.

Men,women and young children become addicted and then start to sell themselves for sex.Getting rid full stop of drug pushers is the omly right thing to do. Eventually the message might get through.

  • the prison is not horrid one

and i truly have sympathy for them because they are HUMAN BEINGS so i love them because they are human beings like ME

  • What did the court decide on in the following months?

  • Glad to see some people in Indonesia have common sense (prison governor).

  • stupid fuckin asian countrys killing people for drugs wtf is going on in the world

  • @ad1665 the people with the drugs are killing way more people correct

  • @azureminded1 the people who decide to take the drugs are killing themselves correct! no1 is made to take drugs its sorely by choice so the drug dealers are simply profiting they dont point guns in the addicts faces and say take this until your hooked.. its a free world or at least should be fuck the laws on drugs they should only apply if people have been physically hurt e.g violence through the sale of drugs then yes fair enough but people simply gettin high causing no problems its fair ball!

  • @ad1665 just dont come to asian country n brig drugs then.simple..

  • @joker1111ism personally i wouldnt go to a shit hole asian country like bali to begin with anyway and ill stick to taking drugs in my country with very fair human rights my friend was caught in a night club with over 50 xtc and he got 25 community service and a 60 pound fine lol you have to kill someone to go to jail here over there you fart in the wrong place they kill you fucking small minded idiots, so you get back to pick your rice and keep your opinions to yourself ok bitch.. x

  • I hope Indonesian court would do the right thing and execute them.

NO HAPPY ENDINGS FOR DRUG DEALERS!!!

  • DRUGS=VERY BAD.

  • hey just a little comment from canada here, Yes they look like great people but who would'nt look like this when death row is above your head!? .. is this only a mask they put on to get out of the death row!? ... so how can people believe them ?

I dont think they should die if really thats their real face.. but how can you know...

  • do the crime

    do the time

  • Wow, is this really a max security part of prison?

  • Sarah Palin's call to arms has created a dangerous global situation

  • islam is USELESS

  • So the Australian government tipped off the Indonesian government that they were coming thru knowing that they would get the death panalty. Thats very distrubing to me. I always had very high regards for Aussies. Now I have to rethink my feelings about them. This is very upsetting. Also, I think you should have followed this story to the end and I hope that you do...Pauly

  • That has got to be one of the best max security prisons in the world. They seem to have so much freedom. I wonder what a min. security prison looks like there.

  • Why couldn't the Austrailian police arrest them on Austrailian soil?

  • The Australian Federal police need to be held to account for this shit .... these guys are Australian citizens .. we don't support the death penalty, yet they chose to give these guys to the Indonesians.

The Australian Feds could've grabbed them at this end of their flights and put them in jail for years rather than threaten them with death by gun.

WTF is that all about? was it a trade off for something else or what?

  • @nastybugger1 WTF?! The Australian Federal police has no jurisdiction in Indonesia and vice versa. As it should be. These guys got stupid and greedy and now they're up shit creek without a paddle. Every body knows that you do not go anywhere near drugs in any SE Asian country because it can cost you your life.

  • @HalalKafir The Indonesian police were given the info from the Australian Feds ....

I'm not sticking up for these drug smugglers.. they are clearly guilty....

My point is .... does this not call into question the values of the Australian police/ government/ people. ... We would not accept death by firing squad in this country, yet our police force has contributed <--- emphasise on contributed .... to these Australian citizens being eligible to death by firing squad. .. question motives.

  • @HalalKafir .. also ... the Australian Federal police do much valuable work in Indonesia ( drug smuggling, terrorism, people smuggling, training of their police force) ... with such close ties, why was it deemed necessary to arrest Australian citizens in Indonesia who were known to be smuggling drugs into Australia???. The question is worth asking and debating.

Arresting them in Indonesia exposes Australian citizens to the death penalty. Fair enough if the Indonesian's caught them themselves!

  • @nastybugger1 Maybe they deemed it necessary to make an example out of these guys to send a message: If you try to smuggle drugs out of SE Asia and into Australia - do not expect us to look the other way. We will work with our Indonesian counterparts to take you down anywhere, anytime. Hopefully, the lesson will finally be learned with these guys on death row.

  • @HalalKafir In Australia we don't support the death penalty ..... The primary duty of Australia's public servants is to protect Austrlian citizens..... In this instance our public servants have been collaboraters in the sentencing of Australian citizens to death by firing squad!!! It's a pretty messy process that doesn't sit well with any electorate within Australia ... so why did they subject these smugglers to it? ..... guilt isn't the question here ... I'm questioning motives. Peace

  • @nastybugger1 The old Mao saying, 'Punish 1, educate 100' comes to mind.

  • @HalalKafir With all due respect.... " The Great " Chairman Mao has nothing to do with this .... not in any way at all! There's another argument for another thread....

All I'm asking is how do the Australian Federal Police justify subjecting their citizens (that they are paid to protect ) to the death penalty by firing squad? ... This is not something Australian's agree to.

Again... their guilt is not in question ..... The ends aren't in keeping with our values! ... What really happened??

  • @nastybugger1 Well, you and a lot of other Aussies may not agree with it but the Australian Federal Police's attitude might be, "if you put your life in danger by smuggling drugs out of Indonesia - don't count on us to save your ass!" And many Aussies would agree with that sentiment. If I go into Pakistan and start yelling "Mohammed is a cunt!" in the middle of Islamabad knowing that they have blasphemy laws - is my govt. responsible for saving my ass? - Not really.

  • @HalalKafir To your question... I would say... YES .. they have an "OBLIGATION" to protect and do all they can to try and protect Australian citizens under Australian law... The key word is "TRY" .. no where have I argued differently.... please keep on topic ..... read all my posts in this thread .... I have not been looking for anecdotel evidence... the argument is now becoming a little absurd ... The Islamic "Profit" doesn't deserve a mention in this thread. He/ she is irrelevent. Peace.

  • @HalalKafir and yet in malaysia, indonesia, thailand the best drugs can be found. kind of like setting a catnip trap for a cat. very seductive.

  • @medini2 It's not really like setting a trap. You have to be out of your freakin' mind not to walk away from anybody that hits you up about smuggling drugs for a few lousy bucks in a country that let's you know loud and clear, "If catch you with drugs - we will kill you!" That'd be like going to Pakistan and shouting "Allah is a cunt & Muhammed was a pedophile!" at the top off your lungs in Islamabad knowing full well that they have blasphemy laws and execute people for making such comments.

  • @HalalKafir the aussies have been smuggling drugs i know for the past 35 years from se asia, now 9 men get caught in a sting set by an aussie cop who probably used someone who was caught smuggling & got a plea deal to help him set it up. They entrap other young men into doing desperately stupid things.

those who set the sting up should do their time, or take a bullet, too.

they've all been seduced into doing wrong things.

  • @medini2 stopping drug smuggling is as simple as leaving drug dogs in the airports and take them right to the terminals as flights are landing from se asia. put these dogs in every airport in austraiia and have the news media show how these dogs are the new mascots for austrailia.

dogs are much cheaper than setting up elaborate stings, where you got a few mules some who never did any of this stuff before. also you need to pressure the usa to stop selling herion out of afghanistan..

  • @medini2 The U.S. is not selling heroin out of Afghanistan. The Iranian govt. is buying the heroin from Afghanistan and then refining and distributing it from there - and we didn't really need the recent Wikileaks revelations to know that. As far as the whole Aussie /SE Asia dynamic goes - yes, there has been drug smuggling going on for decades. Many get away with it but some don't. To me, if you are low enough to bring heroin into your country to help poison your own people for $ - fuck you!

  • @medini2 please excuse the simplicity of my argument ... this is a forum that restricts any real, in depth debate ... read all my posts and get back to me in the context of this thread... I am happy to have an intelligent debate.

  • Great video. I wish them luck.

  • when I went to Indonesia there is a big as sign at the airport warning those...

I believe the set goes both ways...When I went to Bali...while walking on the beach a native tried to run up on me, " Hey boss I got pot boss I got this I got that" I thought about that big ass sign and for real ran off the beach yelling TAXI!!!! NOW while running to the taxi I saw a police car behind a huge bush....

  • smuggling drugs/narcotics in/out of bali is an automatic death penalty.......thats sucks...

  • Comment removed

  • they did a stupid thing but both seem like good lads..

  • I am against death penalty but there some facts.Every country in the world have the right to protect them self from illegal drugs.Smugling bring proffit.Proffit bring organised crime. What small start eventualy grow.Look at Mexico. The cartels cut olmost every day heads of.During the time of the taliban in Afganistan the opium production was almost zero.Today is Afganistan 99% the source of opium. The illegal drug use age dropped in western countries to 12.Indonesia is sovereign.Respect that.

  • @zippo807 Thats true, got to agree with you

  • @zippo807 I dont think these guys will be honest and take it 100% seriously until the sucking chest wound of a bullet has them choking on blood. Smuggle drugs in Indonesia you face the death penalty, they rolled the dice and lost. End of story.

  • It sickens me to watch how these men can be shot to death for trying to make a quick buck. Yes they should be punished, but they should NOT be killed for it! How can the Indonesian government call it justice when they're killing these men, when in reality these men have not directly killed anyone? The Indonesian government is barbaric and so are their laws. They need a reform.

  • i agree that they should do time in Indonesia, but the death penelty i disgree with..big love to the families

  • Comment removed

  • I think they should be punished after Asutralian law! They have committed the crime in Indonesia, but they are still Australian citizens and my sense of justice tells me, that this is not right! And there are a lot of examples in history all over the world, where people committed a crime in a foreign country, but where sent back home after a while! To be justiced after their law! This is just my opinion!

  • @chrismecking But sorry, unless the criminal commited a crime in former country, you can say something like that.

  • @1rescen1 I know that this is a tricky point! But I in my opinion they are now Australians and no Indonesians anymore! When they commit a crime in Australia, they would be judged the same way, like any other Australian would be judge, too! Because they are now Australians, and no Indonesians. Btw, most of them are speaking quiet a strong Australian accent....by that I guess, some are born and raised in Australia! But I said it again, it is just my sense of righteousness!

  • Great documentary, I hope they do get off the death penalty. I hope they get off 1 day.

It's interesting seeing the contrast between them and Schapelle Corby. Their conditions look ok and stimulating enough to live a somewhat decent life. Whereas, with her she looks like she's suffering terribly and her conditions in comparison are terrible.

  • Death seems like way too much, they should get like 20-25 years.

  • Jesus Christ died for our sins, and He rose again so that all who believe on Him will be saved forever and will have eternal life. Jesus saves all who believe on Him.

  • @JesusPaid4You In any other time i would love to have bet against u but i am hoping that these guys r shown some mercy. So instead i am just gona tell U to go Fuck Ur Self

  • Indonesia is such a hellhole.

  • @pweeclassic84 Well I am not saying that religion had anything to do with this at all, but I was simply questioning the statement that 1Waddup made about Islam.

  • This has nothing to do with feeling sorry or not. I think it is a matter of justice. We punish people for commiting crimes by putting them in jail. We execute people for being cold blooded murders. Going to jail for smuggling charges sounds like justice. Being tied to a poll and killed just like a murder for smuggling is not justice

  • They hav no right to sentence another human being to death, Noone should

  • Demand feeds supply. No drug user I have ever known has had anything "pushed "on them. The real criminals are the music and film stars that glorify drugs ,drug usage and the lifestyle.

The people that make money off drugs being illegal are the courts (judges ,lawyers) ,cops (dea, fbi ) , corrections (prisons).

Yes they broke the law and did an incredibly stupid thing. I hope they put ALL users, users, transporters, in Indonesia to death as well. As that would only be fair.

  • show them mercy , no one should die for drugs , jail time yes but not death

  • The Aussie cop who put them up to it has likely (1) changed his cellphone #, (2) moved far away and (3) is well into his NEXT setup.

  • I definitely think these guys should not be sentenced to death. Maybe many more years in jail.... but not death. They were lost and unhappy with life, and I can relate to it, I really can. If it wasn't for such a big fear of upsetting my mom, whom I love and respect dearly, I probably would do shit like that too. It doesn't mean they are bad people... We need to focus on the cause and how to stop people from getting that desperate.

  • I am sorry that they chose the path they took, but on that note: if you go into a country with the sole purpose of committing a crime and you know the possible consequence, I have a hard time feeling sorry...

  • i bet all of those dudes have sex with each other in prison

  • @DeliciousDave444 it's not America man

  • Remember that if you commit a crime in somebody else's country you are subject to their law and their cultural standards. That said I hope they give these guys life. Looks like a nice enough prison too

  • Indonesia - one of the only countries where travel agents urge you to get kidnapping insurance.

  • It's all very sad. But when in Rome, do as the Romans. That means obey the local laws. They were a guest in another country and should have been more careful of their actions. I don't think the drug laws in Indonesia are a secret, right? It's very tragic, really. But they have no one to blame but themselves.

  • I may be 17, but I'm matured enough to know Chan and Myu don't deserve the death sentence. I mean, it's too harsh. Like someone had said below, they haven't even killed anybody, yet. The Indonesian police got them already, why on Earth would they still want to kill them? Nevertheless, I'd like to say they're lucky enough to stay in such a prison, which lets them cook and all.

  • they did something stupid by their own bloody choice.

no ifs ands or buts, they deserve the death penalty

  • how stupid can someone be and smuggle heavy drugs around SE asia... its insane!!!

  • I'm amazed by some of these comments here.

Exactly what lesson would a corpse learn? What punishment would a corpse recognise? Why would it be a deterrent to any other drug smuggler, when the difficulties of smuggling drugs is already so deadly - without the intervention of the law.

Pelting them or anyone with bullets will teach them nothing and they'll be soon forgotten by the desperate who will commit the same crime.

  • @ShallowBeThyGames ya, but it saves money. why should taxpayers foot the bill to support scum? kill em!

  • @DeliciousDave444 Of course, money is by far more valuable than life...ANY life. Then we could move on to offing the out of work, the pensioners and who'd miss the homeless.

  • @DeliciousDave444 Oh absolutely. Let's just kill everyone with a parking ticket. And when we've finished that we'll move on to the homeless, old people, the handicapped, etc. You're absolutely correct. Death as a penalty for smuggling some drugs. I can't wait til the day when you have some unpaid parking tickets, rear end someone, or punch someone in a moment of rage. I'll be right there rallying for your death sentence.

  • @IGotFree Oh shut the fuck up, no one is talking about parking tickets. We're talking about SERIOUS crimes. Do you know how much money the U.S. is wasting by keeping people on death row or how many people who have consecutive life sentences which means they will basically get old and die in prison? Reducing prison population by killing off some prisoners won't hurt anyone. Prisoners who have NO intention in changing should be sentenced to death as they are useless to society.

  • This highlights so clearly that the victims of the death penalty are not only those convicted, but their family, friends, those serving around them, their solicitors, the guards and even the governer of the prison. Irrespective of their guilt or innocence, everybody they have or do come into contact with is moved and hurt in a way no other scentencing delivers, which begs the question, how is justice served with capital punishment ?

  • @Botie2 - everything you've said is true. But Indonesian law is up to the Indonesians. Some Aussie brats went to Indonesia and totally disregarded its law. Maybe Australia should do a better job of educating its citizens of the consequences of violating Indonesian drug laws, seeing as how it's a relatively popular travel destination? Make no mistake, these men are criminals. They plotted to smuggle approximately 4 million dollars worth of heroin into Oz. I feel bad for their families.

  • The drug war is a failure by any metric. What is the point of punitive imprisonment?... it only makes the drugs more valuable and ruins extra lives. The war has not lowered addiction rates, supply, or demand.

  • Imposing the death sentence on drug smugglers seem a bit excessive. While there is no doubt that these individuals broke the law, putting them to death will not better society, nor will it in any way solve the scourge of illegal drugs. Thus putting them to death will only serve the most petty and base urges of humanity, that is callous revenge and a false sense of closure.

  • The death penalty is an arrogant punishment by arrogant humans who think they can choose who deserves to live and who deserves to die. The death penalty for a non-violent crime is especially ridiculous.

  • many stupid tourists they think they can do whatever they want in asia, they should follow the indonesian law, I don't feel sorry for them
